A talented and versatile team at Elm View Care Home offer care and support for a wide range of needs, including residential, nursing, respite, convalescence and palliative as well as Parkinson's care.

With a fresh new look for 2025, they've made improvements including full decoration with new furniture, fixtures and fittings in all communal areas and bedrooms.

Situated in the popular town of Clevedon, this purpose-built modern home provides warm and welcoming accommodation with comfortable rooms and beautiful gardens. All bedrooms are well-decorated and residents are welcome to personalise their surroundings.

Food is homemade and can be enjoyed in the elegant dining room or in the privacy of residents’ own bedrooms. All loved ones are made to feel welcome when visiting.

The activities programme is organised so that each residents’ tastes and abilities are accounted for. There are arts and crafts classes and a gardening club, as well as seasonally themed monthly events.

I stayed at Elm View for a week of respite care. Without exception, the staff treated me with friendly respect and consideration. Quite apart from aspects of care, such as nursing and food, they even offered me their technical expertise so that I was able to take advantage of the Wi-Fi connection and
enjoy some of the entertainment available from the internet.


I shall have no hesitation in recommending Elm View to any of my friends who may be looking for that little bit of extra TLC.

The room was pleasant with an attractive view. The staff were friendly and competent. My stay was a pleasant break between a hospital stay and returning home.
My main complaint is that despite requests I was unable to receive communion during my 3 week stay. I feel this a distinct weakness on the
part of the home. I was assured before I left hospital that a priest visited regularly. (Once a year?) It also took 2 weeks plus before I was given the correct code to access Wi-Fi with family in Australia. Internet access is important to me.

I came here for 11 days respite whilst my partner went on holiday.
I found it to be a very nice place to stay, with very friendly and helpful staff.
I will certainly come here again.

I went to Elm View Care Home for convalescence after my discharge from hospital. My 10 days in Elm View Care Home, I was looked after very well. The staff were very kind and caring. All the meals excellent. All the care gave me a good start to return home.

My Mother who is 91, was taken ill and spent a week in hospital. She had to be discharged to a home, not back to her flat. Staff were conscientious, friendly and helpful. They have taken great pains to integrate her into the community. The nursing staff have also been very active and successful in organising
GP's to control pain and other medical issues. Also good support and clarity from admin staff.

Beautiful room, large well equipped and very clean. Staff are extremely helpful and very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The food is also good. Would not hesitate to recommend this home.

I left the hospital on the 5th January and moved to Elm View until the 12th January. The staff and carers treated me with utmost kindness and courtesy. Medically, I was cared for efficiently with staff patiently explaining all the steps to recovery. I would have no hesitation in returning to Elm View
and recommending the staff and home to my friends.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Elm View for nearly [two/five] years, having been admitted for palliative care. The support and care she receives from all staff, on a daily basis, demonstrates true professionalism, real care and concern as well as a genuine interest in how she is. Should she
require a doctor, she sees her within that day. Her medical needs are met, as well as her social and emotional ones. She loves the activities provided and looks forward to meeting with the other residents. A fantastic job by all.

I have visited friends and relatives at the home for the last 4 years and am aware that the unit has struggled with staffing and other issues. However on my visit on 11th April I met my friend/patient in the day room. I was struck by the large number of staff about, creating a lively discussion group
for the patients, and assistance for those too ill to help themselves.

Elm View creates a peaceful, warm and inviting atmosphere. All staff are friendly and approachable. It's always clean and the foyer gives an excellent impression of what is to come. I have been visiting my mum for over 3 years now and she is always happy and well-cared for. When she was 100 the staff
created a very happy day for her and I would not hesitate to recommend Elm View. It's well respected in the town.

My father was well looked after and very happy during his stay at Elm View. All the staff were so lovely, always cheerful and very caring. Pleasant surroundings. The home was always clean with a lovely garden. Lots of activities to keep everyone engaged. I would have no hesitation in recommending Elm

This is a first class care home and is the best I have seen. The staff have been most helpful at all stages of our contact and my father's residence at the home. We are very fortunate that they have been able to accommodate my father on his discharge from hospital.

This was my husbands second stay for respite care. On arrival he was welcomed back and very soon settled in. It was clear that staff had noted any issues from his previous stay and had tried to make life easier for him (e.g. he had problems with the lift, so this time was able to have a room on the
ground floor, easily accessible to lounge and dining room.) I left for my holiday secure in the knowledge he was being well cared for by excellent staff in a very pleasant environment.
