My very good friend spent the last 4+ months of his life in this amazing home. He recieved the upmost kindness, excellent care. He sadly passed aged 87 with dignity and comfort surrounded by people who were kind and careing.
We're very sorry for the loss of your friend. It means a great deal to know that he was cared for with kindness, dignity, and comfort during his final months. Supporting residents and those close to them at such an important time is something...

We're delighted to hear that you feel well looked after and experience kindness from the team every day. Your feedback means a great deal to us, and we're so pleased that you feel comfortable and supported at Kingswood Court.
My dad stayed at Kingswood Court having a respite until he got well again. They were amazing, my dad looks so well and happy, and I will definitely be bringing him back; they are all amazing with him.
We're so pleased to hear that your dad had a positive respite stay with us and that he is now looking well and happy-that's exactly what we hope to achieve for everyone in our care. It means a lot to know you would choose Kingswood Court again, and we look forward to welcoming him back whenever needed.
Great place feels more like a hotel than a care home. Lovely to visit and hear everyone sounding happy. Thanks to all the great staff.
We're really pleased to hear that the home feels welcoming and comfortable, and that you notice a positive, happy atmosphere when you visit. That environment is something the whole team works hard to create every day.
Your appreciation means a lot, and we'll be sure to share your thanks with all the staff.
Eileen seemed as happy now as from my last visit. I would like to take this time to thank all staff and management for doing such a fantastic job of caring for her every needs Big thank you
We're really pleased to hear that Eileen continues to be happy and settled-it means a great deal to us. Your appreciation for the team and management is truly valued, and we'll be sure to share your thanks with everyone involved in her care.
My mum has been living at Kingswood Court for the past 10 months after suffering a stroke. This was quickly followed by the death of my father. The staff have all been kind & caring towards Mum, showing empathy & compassion as she grieved. They have also met her care needs to a high standard whilst also helping with her rehabilitation & recovery. Nursing staff are quick to observe if Mum is unwell & arrange a GP visit. Activities go on throughout the week but Mum finds it quiet & she becomes lonely at weekends if we are not visiting. Overall we are extremely pleased with Mum's care & experience.
We're very sorry for your family's loss and understand how difficult that period must have been for your mum. It's reassuring to hear that the team has been able to support her with kindness, compassion, and attentive care during both her...

We are truly pleased to hear that your dad was well looked after and that he enjoyed his time with us. Your words about our caring staff mean a great deal, as we strive every...
This nursing home has been refurbished, but struggles to retain staff, with many changes of manager over the last few years. Care provided to my mother was often very poor, with several safeguarding meetings held in attempting to address issues such as being left on her own for long periods (she is confined to a wheelchair), being put to bed late afternoon and not getting up until nearly lunchtime, poor hygiene, theft from her room. On entering the first floor to visit my mother, one noticed the smell, then various residents calling out for help. It has a small garden at the front which is noisy as on a main road, In the end, we moved her to another home. I would not recommend Kingswood Court.
Thanks for taking the time to leave your review. We're sorry to learn of your experience with Kingswood Court Care Home. We understand that family concerns are currently being reviewed by a member of our team and we're grateful for your patience while this is completed. If you wish to provide...

I visit the home on regular basis to see my mum. Every time I see my mum, and without fail, my mum always say all these years staff are really kind. I don't need to be told that, as I can see it with my own eyes. I would personally like to thank all of the team for the kindness they show my mum and for the warm welcome I always receive when visiting.

I’ve worked in the kitchen at Kingswood Court for 7 years and I’ve been working in catering for 20 years. During that time I have worked in a children's day nursery and another care home. I love being able to produce fresh, nutritious meals for our residents and it means a great deal to me that I can make a difference in the residents' lives.
In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband, 2 children, 5 grandchildren and my boxer dog. I love the sun and try to get away whenever I can.

I decided to work in care because I enjoy talking with the elderly and I feel that I’m a sociable person and have a lot to give. I’ve worked in the care sector for 16 years and been at Kingswood Court for 13 of those years, I used to work in a factory before I changed into care.
