Kingswood Court Care Home is located in a quiet residential suburb in Kingswood, Bristol. The team offer residential care for people who need help with daily tasks, nursing care for those who have complex medical needs, and respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break.

Comfortable facilities are combined with highly trained staff to ensure that each and every individual is given superior attention. 24-hour care is provided in a warm and welcoming environment, with delicious meals and daily activities, including a choice of therapeutic approaches.

Activities are key to the residents' wellbeing and as such the team believe in providing a wide range of daily activities to ensure residents are engaged, active and celebrating life here at Kingswood. Whether a resident enjoys art, live music, gardening, flower arranging or trips out, it is all undertaken to ensure that each resident’s time here is enjoyable and relaxing. Bristol is only 20 minute away in the home's mini bus and makes for great day trips out for residents and their loved ones. In addition, the home has great community links and receives visits from local schools and groups, which always puts a smile on residents’ faces.

The team always discuss with residents and their families about their food preferences and dietary requirements. The chef and catering team then work with dieticians to create meals that are nutritious and tasty, using fresh seasonal ingredients that are lovingly prepared each and every day by the Head Chef. Residents can eat in pleasant dining rooms or, if they prefer, the team are pleased to serve them their meal in the privacy of their own rooms.

It is their philosophy that Kingswood exists for the people they support, and life does not stop because the individual needs care.

I visited Mum for the first time yesterday since she moved to Barchester Kingswood Court Care Home.
I already knew that she was happy and cared for.
I was made to feel extremely welcome and was able to eat following a 5-hour-plus journey. The senior regional head chef was particularly helpful.
I
spent a number of hours with Mum and was impressed by the atmosphere, equipment, surroundings and cleanliness.
Every one of the staff was friendly, efficient, happy and really kind to the residents, even when they became "confused".
I am so happy that Mum has finally settled in a lovely, happy, caring home.
Many thanks, I look forward to visiting Mum again soon.

The staff in this care home are multinationals and that encourages diversity. I always meet my friend in good spirit and this testifies to the comfortable, safe and friendly environment in Barchester Kingswood Court Care Home.
The staff. especially the carers I have encountered. are so nice, courteous
to the residents and guests; sometimes this is the worry when you have a loved one under the care of others but their attitude to work showed that my dear one is being respected and cared for.
They also have a beach room, that is the happy place for my loved one. This is where they have their daily activities and exercise. It is such a social place.
I thank all the staff and management of this care home, bravo!

On entering the front door the ambience is excellent, clean and fresh with welcoming staff.
To reach our friend who suffers from dementia the access security via the main door, stairs and corridor was efficient and sound and the room itself was clean and airy.
On the first (of 2) occasions we visited
the corridors and room were fresh-smelling though the second time there was some odour from bodily functions; perhaps understandable if very recent before any action could be taken, but the star reduction is entirely for that reason.
The staff were kind and attentive and looked after our friend and ourselves exceedingly well. All in all, the home is heartily recommended for the care it gives.

This care home does everything and more for my grandparents. They arranged a day out for my gramps with the police, sat in the car and took him out in it. To see his face so happy is everything and more. The level of care and patience that they have for them both is incredible and we as a family are

After 3 weeks of my mum being at Kingswood Court Care Home, the family have seen a great improvement in both her physical and mental health. All staff, from manager to catering and cleaners, do a fantastic job. As a visitor, I find the home welcoming and homely - no matter what time I visit.

I am very happy with my mum's care and I am pleased that after viewing many other homes, she has settled here.

I joined Barchester in 2017 and have gained a lot of experience during that time. I am very proud of my work and get a lot of satisfaction from providing high standards of care and guiding the team. As the General Manager, I am responsible for the overall running of Kingswood Court and am assisted in this by a great team of staff. It is hugely rewarding to be able to support our residents and help them to lead fully enriched lives in their new home.
