My wife was a resident for 2 years in dementia care. During her time she was always treated with kindness and respect. The staff were consistent in their care which was without exception excellent. From the front desk, to the management, from nursing and cleaning staff we were always treated with consideration and friendliness. We will always be grateful to Greenslades and all the staff - a heartfelt thank you from all the family.

The management were excellent and really wanted to make things work for us. Things are very organic when someone comes who care, especially if their condition deteriorates. And the nurses were superb. Very attentive. Thank you.

My father has been within Greenslades Nursing Home for the last 3 years. I can honestly say, this was the best move he ever had!. Where he came from was awful & he was abused. I was dubious about the move, but from the minute he arrived, friendly welcoming staff from the second we got him in, made me realise that this was the right place for him. Meghanne the manager is absolutely fantastic, creating lots of games to keep them stimulated & most of all enjoyable for them all, plus all the other hard work she provides behind the scenes. The reception staff,Richard & Peter are also lovely & always a pleasure to be greated by these 2 as you walk in. As for the care staff...I take my hat off!. They are all made for this job. The passion, care & dedication they all put into looking after all of the residents is second to none!. From personal care to spending quality time with them. I know my father is in extremely safe hands & that means a lot. Emsx
Thank you for sharing such heartfelt feedback. We're delighted to hear how well your father has settled and that he feels safe, welcomed and supported. It means so much to know he's enjoying the experiences on offer and receiving care that brings comfort and reassurance.
The care given to my husband was very food. My only concern was the length of time it took for an alarm bell to be answered but appreciate all staff are busy. The alarm/call bell also was not very secure if a patient had limited movement.
Mom came to the Greenslades in February 25 until the 11th of Jan 2026 when she sadly passed away. I cannot thank the staff the nurses and the carers for the Care and kindness towards my mum especially during her final days. the quality of Care here is excellent. Everybody cares to a high standard. I would have no hesitation in recommending Greenslades to anyone for their loved one. I shall miss the staff and coming in to see Mom in her lovely room. I am forever grateful for making her last days comfortable and giving us the time and Space to be with her and say goodbye, thank you from the bottom of my heart Loraine
Thank you for sharing such heartfelt words. It means so much to know that the care and kindness shown brought comfort during such an important time. Your recommendation and gratitude are truly appreciated, and we're honoured to have supported your family.
My father has been a resident here since March 2025 and he has received the very best care in that time. In fact he has thrived as the caring staff have got him eating again and offer him regular snacks if he refuses a main meal. The staff are brilliant they welcome me and I feel so relieved to have them care for dad when I no longer can. They phone me with any concerns and sometimes just to reassure me Dads ok ! Dad has a care plan in place which they share with me. It's such a lovely environment so happy with so many activities on offer !
Very caring, really respectful and supportive and all the staff are friendly and welcoming, they are really looking after my mum in the best way possible. Clean and tidy and good food and entertainment too.
Thank you for sharing such lovely feedback. We're delighted to hear that your mum feels so well cared for and supported. Creating a welcoming environment with great food, entertainment and a clean, comfortable home is something we take pride in, and it's wonderful to know this is making a positive difference for your family.
Whilst the decor of the Home would benefit from being updated, it is clean and the food is good. There are a variety of daily activities offered for residents to join in with, including outdoors when the weather allows.
However, what really makes this Home is the staff looking after the residents. They really are a first class team, doing a often difficult job with kindness and good humour whilst always remaining professional and compassionate.
My father was a resident for just a short time - 8 months, but during his stay, he received top quality care and medical treatment. All aspects of his stay were dealt with professionally and with dignity and respect.
Thank you for your kind review. We're glad your father received the professional, respectful care he deserved during his time with us. Your feedback means a lot to our team.
We were made very welcome when visiting this home. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. A very clean and tidy home.
One bit of feedback for Sanctuary Care is that the process to access the building proved difficult on occasions as the reception is not staffed at evenings and weekends. This meant relying on the already busy care staff to allow access when they get the chance. Waiting to get in with elderly or disabled relatives is not ideal. A minor point and no reflection at all on the great team that looked after dad.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our home and for your such wonderful review. Thank you also for your feedback, we will be sure to pass this onto our team - it really is invaluable.
My mother is being well looked after by caring staff. She is a somewhat challenging resident; she has been dealt with in a professional and caring manner, putting on weight and allowing them to help her with tasks. The nurse in charge on the floor is very good, and keeps me updated.
Thank you for your kind words. We're glad to hear your mother is receiving the care and support she needs, and that our team has been able to respond with professionalism and compassion. It's great to know the updates have been helpful.
Since my mum moving to Greenslades from a care home in Exeter in April things have been very good after a tricky start. The staff are very helpful and I feel my mum is happy. My only gripe would be that when my mum is in the living room she is seated into a proper chair with her legs slightly elevated.
Helpful, friendly staff and taking good care of my mother.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our home and for your kind words. Best wishes,
My father is well cared for.
The staff are supportive.
Decor could do with improving.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our home, it is so appreciated. We will be sure to pass your feedback onto our assets team. Best wishes,
Staffing is very good. Activities are provided on a regular basis.

Meet the Team (2)

I started off in care when I was 19, looking after my father and decided this was what I wanted to do for a career as I wanted to make a difference.
I have worked my way through all roles in all different sectors of social care to get to where I am now. I have been in management for 10 years now and I wouldn’t change a thing.
Care is my life and passion and I love learning something new every day. I am honoured that I can say that I truly love what I do and I am privileged and lucky to have a career with a company that shares the same passion.

I find my role very satisfying, I enjoy helping the families and friends of our residents with whatever they may need.
