Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to understand the level of care and support needed. Our 2025 weekly care fees for residential care start from £1225 and for nursing care £1448, but may be in the region of 30% more*. This depends on your care needs and the type of bedroom that is right for you, from our standard rooms through to our premium bedroom options.
*If you require more specialist care such as 1-2-1 support, your weekly fee could be higher.

Dear Len, thank you for your review. I am pleased to hear how satisfied you are with the care provided to your mother, and as you say, being so far away this enables you to have good peace of mind knowing she is well cared for. Best wishes.
Dear Julia, thank you so much for your kind words about our team at Ivydene. I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your mother, however I am glad to hear how well supported both she and you were throughout the process. Best wishes, Fae
The most disappointing service is the laundry. Clothes lost, nothing ironed and not
Thank you for your lovely comments about our team. We offer a wide variety of choice at mealtimes with nutritional, home-cooked meat, vegetarian and fish dishes, as well as lighter meals. If our residents don’t fancy anything on the menu our chef is very happy to prepare something different. We also plate presentation dishes to enable our residents to see the choices on offer. In terms of the laundry, we ask that items are labelled but I will of course discuss your concerns with the team.
Whilst every member of staff was positive, kind, compassionate and friendly towards Mum and to us as a family, the exceptional quality of the senior nurses gave us peace of mind and comfort at a tremendously difficult time in our lives. Though when complimented, the reply was "I am just part of a team". Yes; a fabulous team at that.
To anyone who is struggling with the idea of entrusting your nearest and dearest to a care home... we would, from our experience, thoroughly recommend Ivydene. They really do 'care'.

Matt's favourite part of his role is looking after Ivydene "because it is the place our residents call home".
I have been a Registered Manager for the last 9 years in Dementia Care, Diagnostic imaging (PET-CT), and Nursing Complex Care, as well as a short period recently as an Operations Manager for a small care group. In my spare time, I volunteer as a Community First Responder for at least 12 hours a week to respond on behalf of the Southwest Ambulance Service Trust. I live in Mary Tavy with my partner Claire, and we have roughly 30 animals, so "spare time" isn't really a thing.
