I absolutely agree with so many of the comments made by other people. My wife has Alzheimer's and entered Primley Court in a very poor state last November after a stay in hospital. Over the last 9 months, they have slowly settled her down until she is as comfortable as possible. The atmosphere is calm and almost homely and the staff are all really caring and concerned. It always seems fresh and my wife is well presented and obviously relates well with them. My worries have been greatly reduced since they looked after her and they have welcomed our family as well. Lovely home, with lovely staff and an excellent attitude from the management. Thank you!

The staff are very kind and considerate, and nothing seems too much trouble for them. They always go the extra mile to make the residents comfortable and settled. They always make visiting easy and friendly for the family.

It's hard to put into words how difficult it is to place a relative in a nursing home knowing this will be the last place they will live. From our very first visit, it just felt 'right'. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming, you can tell from the atmosphere and how they interacted with the other staff, visitors, and residents that they enjoy working there and want to be there. I cannot tell you how many times they just made themselves available to sit with Mum, comfort her, and spend quality time with her. They were incredibly supportive towards us too, they showed genuine kindness. Sadly Mum passed away and they all talked about little routines or special jokes they shared with her, always there with a smile and hand squeeze. I felt they knew her and cared for her. They kept us informed of all medical issues and personal care was excellent. They treated her with dignity, respect, and genuine care.

My Dad was admitted to Primley View at the end of January for end-of-life care. The whole team at Primley View was superb in their care of my Dad and I can't fault them; it's never an easy situation but the team made it as straightforward as they could. Their kindness to myself and my sister as well as my Dad was above and beyond what we expected. My Dad's care was second to none, he was well looked after and as a proud ex-military man who had been completely independent all of his life, I know this was no mean feat as he was quite demanding and certainly not used to having anyone look after his hygiene needs. The team is the best there is, they are all very giving of their time and attention, and nothing is too much trouble. The kindness extended to us when he passed was very much appreciated. In a busy world, where people are expected to do more and more, this team was never too busy to care - and that means everything. Thank you!

My husband became a resident at Primley Court on 6th Jan 23, he was very underweight, anxious, and tormented.
The staff have all been very kind and caring and patient towards him, over a period of weeks he became happier and calmer and regained his lost weight.

All the staff have shown kindness and empathy towards me on my visits, they are always busy with the residents, chatting or walking with them. A lovely friendly atmosphere.

The manager and her team at Primley View have cared for my dad for the past few years. The whole team have gone above and beyond caring for my father. Every time we visited him he was well dressed, clean and tidy. Every single day until the day he passed away he was clean-shaven.
We always felt confident in knowing that he was being looked after so well. They understood all sides of his personality and the complex struggles which came with the dementia. Dad had Parkinson’s and the nursing home was able to cater for his needs exceptionally. As dad’s struggles continued the home shared this journey with us as a family. We will never be able to thank them enough. As my mum stayed by his side, they always made her feel welcome and offered high-quality, delicious hot meals and drinks.

We were overwhelmed by not just the care and support they showed Dad but also the love that they showed him and the rest of us as a family. We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts.

My husband was admitted after falling and being admitted to the hospital with a fractured hip (from home). He spent 8 weeks in hospital after catching Covid also. He spent almost 2 weeks in the home and he decided he couldn't deal with the pain after having it for over 5 years. The staff were absolutely marvellous. Nothing was too much trouble, so kind and patient in the nursing home. A real credit to you.

As always, I'm extremely happy with the care home, it really means a lot to see how happy my dad is in the care home and how well he is taken care of. The staff really look after him, talk to him nicely, laugh with him and do the best they can to make this stage of his life enjoyable.

Our dad was discharged from hospital, after a seven-week stay and was very poorly. I personally had concerns as the hospital said they had a place for Dad, but we didn't have time to visit prior to his discharge and were worried about where he was going. But these concerns were unfounded as the care was fantastic and all of the team were great and really caring. We couldn't have asked for anywhere better for Dad.

Mum came into Primley Court from hospital. She was quite poorly and had Lewy Body Dementia, she, unfortunately, passed away on the 10th June.

We cannot fault the care she had from all the staff whilst she was there. You should be proud to have such an excellent team of staff.

My ex-partner and friend who I have LPA for has been in Primlet Court for 2 years now. His dementia with Lewy Bodies has advanced rapidly, he needs care 24/7. He va be really challenging sometimes. The carers are fantastic using distraction methods which work well, the compassion and understanding second to none. The care home manager, the nurses, in fact, everyone. I admire them, especially during this really hot spell, even though the air conditioning is excellent. Music provided regularly, which brings enjoyment.

My father has been a resident at Primley View for over 18 months, sadly he passed away in February 2023. There is no doubt that entrusting a family member into the care of anyone is a big step, and I can say that although I was removed from some of the NHS processes, I was nevertheless anxious about the future.
I engaged with Primley right from the start, and it did not take very many days as I visited and talked to the team before my feelings of concern ebbed away. We saw nothing but the utmost compassion not only for my dad but also for the other folks resident here.
A role in a care home is a vocation; there is no doubt in our minds about that. I saw staff undertaking professional development and trying to improve on their care delivery, I also saw the same staff throughout Dad's time at Primley, this in itself being a good sign.

The team are truly outstanding; there is no doubt their efforts improved Dad's wellbeing, I am so grateful and cannot ever thank them all enough.

After several difficult months during which my husbands dementia and behaviour deteriorated he was accepted at Primley Court in August 2022. Management and staff have worked continuously to care not only for his physical health and well-being, but they have also created an environment in which he feels safe and I believe have improved his mental condition. I cannot thank them enough for the stimulation and companionship provided which has helped him to regain some interest and contentment with life.

Overall the home is well-run and welcoming, with a comfortable atmosphere for both residents and visitors. Nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful staff who are constantly on hand to answer queries and give general information on the residents and I am always informed of any change in my husband's condition. The standard of care is excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending Primley Court.
