My father who has advanced Parkinson's has been brilliantly looked after with compassion, love and dignity. The house has been compassionate, understanding, caring and kind, even through the lockdown of Covid-19. All the staff have gone above and beyond to accommodate us and help my dad and our family. Highly recommend this nursing home.

Our mum was discharged from hospital to Primley Court, we were apprehensive as we'd always cared for mum. The first phone conversation put any fears to rest. The Primley Court team ensured the transition was the best possible under the circumstances. Whenever we phoned we received the nothing was too much trouble approach we felt encouraged to call as often and whenever we wanted to. Mum was in 14 days isolation, but when I dropped a few things off I was able to have an impromptu visit, I was standing outside and mum was on the other side of the glass door. Extremely grateful to the team for making this happen as it was the last time I saw mum. The care team combed mum's hair and giggled with her as I wanted to take a photo and mum wanted to look her best. It was mum's last photo as she passed away 10 days later. Thank you Team Primley for giving mum the care and support she and we needed in her final days under very difficult circumstances.

My mum was discharged to Primley Nursing Home from the hospital. Due to Covid restrictions, she has to be isolated for fourteen days, but the manager and staff went out of their way to ensure relatives were able to see Mum through the window and speak to her on the phone. She looked safe, comfortable and well cared for. Sadly Mum passed away within a couple of week of arriving at the home, but throughout she was treated with great care and respect, especially in her final few hours.

My Dad has been a resident of Primley Court since September 2015 and in that time he has always been treated with the utmost respect and dignity. The carers, nurses and management staff are friendly and professional and seem to have endless patience with him. They know his likes and dislikes and he knows their familiar faces. My Dad has a good appetite and appears to be enjoying the food he is served. The home is always clean and warm and I feel he is in a safe and secure environment. My Dad has vascular dementia and probably does not have full awareness of his surroundings and the people around him, but has always been shown care and devotion.

Primley View care home looked after my brother for 4-weeks. I was very pleased with his care; I don't think any more could have been done to help him through his final weeks. He was given every care, the staff were wonderful.

My Father seems very happy at this home. The staff are always friendly, attentive and very caring. There are always activities for the residents to join in if they wish to, my Father particularly enjoys the karaoke. The home have now provided a pod so I am still able to visit my Father. I would strongly recommend this home to relatives of people suffering from dementia.

Another very warm welcome at Primley Court to visit my wife on an arranged visit. I must congratulate Primley Court on their new pod, it helps to make a visit very pleasant. My wife isn't very well but she seems to respond to seeing and hearing me talking to her. She even tried to say a few words. Well done Primley Court and thank you.

My father spent his last couple of weeks in this lovely nursing home. The staff were absolutely lovely, caring, respectful and very kind. They really went out of their way to call us regularly, and they really looked after my dad so well. We were able to safely visit him, following the government guidelines, so we could say our goodbyes. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursing home. One lady, in particular, was so very kind to us, and I know that my dad would have been very appreciative of the care from all the nurses. My brother and my dad's girlfriend also felt the same.

Though the last year has been very tough on all care homes, Primley Court has still provided excellent care to all the residents under very challenging circumstances. Since the Covid crisis, my husband's needs have become a lot more as he now needs a wheelchair as he has become unable to walk. I cannot praise the staff enough for the work they have put in, always with a smile.

The staff at Primley Court have been incredible. My Dad has settled well and is so much more at peace now. Staff managed to arrange a visit in the pod for Christmas eve for my Mother, although it was very emotional, the staff also supported my Mother during the visit which was very kind. Dad was clean-shaven, in his own clean clothes and was looking well, I have no doubt that Dad is being well looked after and is happy.

My husband had been in a Care Home in Newton Abbot for 3 months but had been transferred to Primley Court as they could not manage his irrational behaviour. Having been at Primley Court for some 6/8 weeks he appears happier and calmer with no reports of irrational behaviour. I would not hesitate to recommend this Home as all the staff are very pleasant and helpful with any queries.

The staff at Primley View were very kind and patient under very difficult circumstances. We will be always grateful to them for making his last months as good as possible. It has been difficult visiting during the last months, but they made it possible where we stayed outside and could talk through a door social distance observed. The food could be improved.

The staff at Primley View have been brilliant at caring for my sometimes difficult mother. They are warm and kind towards her and have worked hard to meet her needs. She has become very attached to them, they have managed to persuade her to accept personal care, which she rejected before, so it is clear that she trusts that they have her best interest at heart.

On the first contact with staff at the home, I was impressed with the knowledge they had on my wife after only a few hours. They had taken time to find out her likes and dislikes, interests, food choices etc. They reassured me on how my wife was settling in and always happy to give me a full report on how she gets on overnight. It was easy to arrange covid safe visits with clear instructions on what would happen on my visits. Not allowed in, so can only comment on rooms/building condition as observed from outside.

Primley View has been my dad's home for nearly two years, and I would like to let you know that the whole team have done an excellent job in making my dad happy and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for the team when he was alive. It also made my wife and me feel happy that Dad was being looked after in an excellent way. Thank you all for your caring nature and cleanliness.

Your care, love and affection for our mother in her final weeks of life was exceptional. You took the time to communicate with her daily and ensure her care needs were met. You welcomed us and supported us in a very considerate manner - gave us space and time to spend our last few hours with our loving Mum in an environment that helped ease the anxieties and upset of losing such a key family member.

On arrival staff always polite and helpful. The building inside had had a good facelift. Re-painted and wired. Lounges all clean with new decor. All seating replaced by PVC so easily cleaned. The carers are always busy with challenging people, always keeping an eye out and never abusive to these people. Bedrooms are spotless and bathrooms. My mother is kept very clean and well dressed. Fed well and joins in with activities. Plenty of entertainment from various musicians etc. 100% I feel very lucky she's here.

I give the highest recommendation to the deputy manager and staff for their care and attention given to the patients in their care. My brother was very, very happy at this nursing home for the last 16 months, in fact he had chance to move but preferred to stay at Primley Court The View. To me this says it all.

The whole staff was good and kind to the patients. They let my brother help with the gardening and handing out cups of tea. Every so often people would come in to entertain them. I was very pleased with how he was looked after, I could not have asked for better care for my brother.
