Excellent care and activities.

This home cares for all your needs. The food is varied and plentiful. The rooms are kept clean and airy. Well furnished. Nothing is too difficult for the staff.

Fantastically professional and very friendly staff across all areas of care. My father has settled in very quickly as a result and that is a credit to everyone here.

What was an extremely difficult and emotional time became so much easier with the help of the manager and staff at Avon Reach. The care compassion and understanding they gave my Aunt during a challenging time was exceptional. They were equally as understanding and empathetic with me. This is a truly amazing care home with the best manager and staff. You gave us our aunt back and we will be eternally grateful.

My aunt was 101 years old, she required end-of-life nursing care. I know from previous experience that Avon Reach would provide it in the way that she and I would wish it. My aunt died yesterday, having received care as a resident for almost 8 months. During that time she received nothing but loving kindness and understanding. She was not an easy patient, having been a matron herself, but the nurses, the carers, the activities organisers, the kitchen staff, the cleaners, the laundry persons, the admin staff, all were superb.

I came to Avon Reach after a month in hospital for respite care to get my 98-year-old body fit again. Whilst spending seven weeks here, I was met with nothing but kindness right across the board. As I slowly got fitter, I enjoyed the many activities provided and even began to learn Spanish. I was treated like a king. Thank you, everyone.

Absolutely brilliant.

We cannot thank Avon Reach enough for pulling out all the stops to honour our father's wishes of dying in a homely room with a beautiful view of a garden rather than a hospital bed. Even though he ended up only spending 36 hours there, the compassion and dedication that every single staff member we encountered demonstrated was absolutely second to none and they looked after us with as much care as they did our father. We got an enormous amount of comfort having him at Avon Reach as did he and even though they knew it would not be a long-term stay, they went above and beyond anyway. Money was not the driver for them, caring for a dying man was.

In two weeks of respite care I have been so impressed by Avon Reach as a home that cares. It offers all help, kindness and thoughtful gestures (such as a bookmark in the bedrooms)

I have had a wonderful stay at Avon Reach Care Home, the rooms are great and everyone treats you with great care and respect. I have been impressed by the way all the staff treat awkward requests from residents, sometimes going to great lengths to help, reassure and satisfy. I would happily stay here myself and would have no worries about placing an elderly relative in care here.

Avon Reach Care Home has been fantastic to Mum. I am so pleased with the care she has received. Outstanding in all areas.

This care home is excellent. The residents are well cared for and happy to chat whenever I visit my gran. The home is clean and doesn't have that usual (old people's home smell) that you usually experience. My nan is really happy and enjoys the activities that are on offer to her. The food is first class. On the whole, I would say this is a well-run, well-managed home and is worth considering for an elderly relative.

I am so impressed with the outstanding care that my grandma has received at Avon Reach. The staff are simply wonderful and it's so reassuring to me and my family that grandma is safe and in the best place. I honestly can't recommend enough.

I went to visit Nanny and the staff were so welcoming and friendly, she looks so well and loves it at Avon Reach and has made lots of new friends, we can't thank the staff enough for the care they give her since she could not be at home.

I am enjoying my stay here. In fact, I was only booked in for a month but am staying longer as I am finding the staff so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much for them. The room is lovely and sunny. The food is great, very enjoyable.

I have never been in a home before. I am very much wishing if I can come tomorrow and stay.

I have been in this care home for nearly 3 and a half years. With no close relatives, I made the decision to move entirely myself and I have not regretted it, as the section below indicates. As I have been under 5 managers in this time as there have been so many changes, it is difficult to make reliable assessments except to say they have all been very nice and approachable people.
