My mom has moved from the midlands, relocating to Dorset and has settled quickly and is feeling at home and made to feel welcome. The staff are excellent, happy to help and very professional. My mum is so happy, safe and in good hands, you have all made a positive difference to my mum and given her new lease of life. Thank you for the attention to detail, kindness, patience and loving care.

Westbourne Tower Care Home is a first class care home. From the moment we made a tentative enquiry to actually bringing my mother into care a few days later, my mother and all our family have been treated with great care, respect, empathy and dignity. The home itself is modern and clean, the rooms are a good size and well equipped. The care my mother received throughout her stay was excellent. All the staff were helpful and friendly and went out of their way to meet her needs. The food and choice of menu was superb and there are a vast range of daily activities and outings for residents to enjoy. In sum, Westbourne Tower care home is an outstanding care home and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone whose loved ones are no longer able to live independently.

At Westbourne Tower there are excellent facilities a welcoming atmosphere and the staff at all levels are friendly and helpful. The residents are made to feel totally at home and part of an inclusive family. There is a range of activities to suit the individual requirements of each resident to stimulate as well as occupy them. Outside visitors of all ages are part of the regular pattern of entertainment to engage residents and provide interesting and interactive activity. The meals look varied and tasty and the residents look forward to the daily menu. The care home is set in beautifully tended gardens which residents can walk or sit in weather permitting.

Overall a wonderful well run care home where residents are very happy and feel cherished.

Just back from an excellent visit to Westbourne Tower care home. This a special place run by a very caring, skilled and attentive staff. Stepping into Westbourne one is immediately struck by the warmth of the ambience quite apart from the spacious surroundings. It was evident that everyone was given superb attention and their needs were met whether medical or social. There were plenty of staff on hand to simply chat to if needed and a wide variety of activities for the residents to pursue should they wish. The home is set in beautifully tended gardens and although the weather didn't permit it was clear that it was lovely resource for the residents to use in more clement days. What also made a lasting impression is how residents were treated as individuals even being allowed to furnish their own rooms. A caring touch. Well done to all concerned.

The team at Westbourne Towers have been exceptional in their care of my parents. Unfortunately my father became ill shortly after moving there, and there was a rapid and joined up response to his care. They involved us fully within this we could not have asked or expected any better. There are frequent daily activities, and residents are support to feel at home and to make friends. Every carer, and every member of the team have demonstrated infinite patience, kindness and support.

The standard of care is excellent. There is a good variety of tasty, healthy food served in the dining rooms or in residents' rooms if preferred. The interior of the home is well presented and has spacious communal areas suitable for their varied programme of activities. There are plenty of parking spaces for guests and the outside areas are well landscaped with plenty of seating areas.

To summarise, I think this home makes every effort to help residents settle into their new home and give them the best experience.

We have found the overall experience here to be excellent. The level of care provided to my uncle is beyond expectations. The carers are very kind and extremely attentive at all times. The admin staff have been so happy to help with all aspects including information, providing help with a quiet place to sit with visitors, photocopying documents and the opportunity to join my uncle for lunchtime meals. We have no hesitation in recommending Westbourne Tower Care Home to others.

I have been here since it opened in 2006. I can’t believe how time has flown by. Although I already had the skill set I was working as a Bank Chef alongside my own business and was asked to take on the managerial role which was an easy transition. I trained and worked in London, Morocco, France and Italy before returning to the UK and settling in Bournemouth. My food specialities are multicultural and the residents love it when I do theme days. I have been a major part of this home being awarded CQC Outstanding, the CQC assessor loved my secret ingredient “ a bit of love”. I run a monthly Dining Committee where residents can influence what is on the menu, likes and dislikes and I love nothing more than walking around the dining room on a daily basis to ensure their wishes have been followed. I like to surprise residents with their favourite dishes, for special occasions. I have to say I love my job and my residents make me smile every day. I am proud to say I work here.

I am delighted to have been recently appointed for this important role, in delivering a varied, stimulating and educational programme for our residents. I like to think outside the box and ongoing feedback from our residents, it enables my talented activity team to deliver, along with our team of amazing volunteers. I bring to the role my experience of managing teams, Interior Design, Floristry, Art, and Teaching and I even played table tennis for Wales! I am inspired by talking to our residents and finding out what they enjoy and what makes them smile, whether that's an entertainer, Tai Chi, Music Therapy, Camera or Theatre Club or 1 to 1 person-centred activities. 110% is put into everything we do here.

I have worked here since 2006, and the things that have remained constant throughout that time are the love, dedication and unfaltering kindness my colleagues deliver every day. No two days are the same; there is always something going on which makes you smile and our residents become part of our extended family. We are committed to filling their days with happy moments.

My role is to market our home and welcome new residents into it, dealing with professionals and family members. Making a significant decision at a critical time is made easy when we have a beautiful product, lovely food, a great activities programme (including minibus outings) and caring staff, all coupled with happy appreciative residents and family members, this is borne out by our positive carehome.co.uk reviews.
