Westbourne Tower, a premium provider of dementia care, nursing care and residential care, is ideally situated within easy access to the centre of Bournemouth.

Rooms dedicated to respite stays following a hospital visit or when your carer is on holiday. The care home has 114 beds and on-site nursing facilities.

The care home is located a short distance from the centre of Bournemouth, offering a wide range of accommodation options and beautiful, wheelchair-friendly landscaped gardens designed for a gentle stroll or relaxing walk. Pet-friendly, so your four-legged friends can also move in.

A passionate and dedicated team ensure all residents’ individual needs and requirements are met; whether that is arranging for your favourite meal to be created by the in-house chef or arranging activities for you to enjoy.

We are incredibly impressed by the staff, the home, the atmosphere and overall attention to detail. It has been incredibly reassuring to see how happy Mum is there in person as living abroad, we are not able to see Mum as often as we would like. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

I visit regularly to see my friend at Signature, and she tells me how happy she is there, well looked after, has excellent food and enjoys the trips out three days a week.
She has a lovely room and enjoys the hospitality and entertainment, which includes quizzes, pianists and lovely garden walks.

It has been a very pleasant experience meeting many people who all have their own problems and can share these. The activities and quizzes etc, we enjoy during various meetings are quite challenging but can be good fun. Nice, friendly and helpful staff!

My sister and I have been so very happy with the level of care our mum has received. The atmosphere is really friendly, and the activities are superb. Mum has loved all the love music, singing and the piano player.

My nan has had the most excellent care. She is loved and cared for and has amazing 1-2-1 care. She has been here for five years and has gone from loving the entertainment and food to having puréed food - nothing is too much trouble.

My friend is not end-of-life, but I have seen her through her journey ever since she has been in Signature for the last five years. I've nothing but the greatest admiration, not only for the standard of care to which she's been offered but, more importantly, the singularly compassionate person-centric
culture which seems to me to pervade every single member of Singnature's team and which has greatly contributed to me friend becoming part of their family.

I am delighted that Mum and I chose Signature at Westbourne, following the death of my father and Mum no longer being able to cope at home alone. From our initial enquiry, we were made to feel welcome, and all subsequent enquiries regarding moving in were handled sympathetically and with patience. The
care staff are obviously happy to be working there - some of them have many years of service - and they treat residents with friendliness and respect. First-class facilities and a full daily programme are a major plus - residents can be as active or as relaxed as they, please. Thank you to the whole team for creating a comfortable safe place for my mum to live.

I live abroad, so it was a wonderful relief to visit and see my mother so at home here. The food is very good, and everyone is so friendly and courteous. Activities available and schedule of events give so many options or just relaxing in the cafe. Highly recommend.

After hunting around and visiting many care homes, we came across Signature at Westbourne Care Home. It stood out above others in many ways. The atmosphere when you walk in is positive, warm and welcoming, in fact, my mother-in-law still thinks she is staying in a posh hotel!

All aspects of Signature at Westbourne are excellent. Staff and management get 10/10 for their care/support and friendliness. The food always looked great, and every time I visit, it is light and always spotless! I cannot be happier. My mother is a resident here and would fully recommend this care home

An amazing home who are taking great care of my grandmother. As a family, we are so pleased she is there, and all the staff are so friendly. They have fantastic meals, and I had a meal with my grandmother, which I really enjoyed. My grandmother also joins in all of the activities, and there is something

I have raised this with the management (months ago) that the facilities on the dementia floor are very poor - inappropriate furniture (worn out, tatty chairs that residents cannot get out of unaided), cramped, inadequate areas for quiet times, dark, dreary and unstimulating. This floor has been allowed
to be "run down" to an unacceptable standard where residents are paying in excess of £7,500 per month!
The dementia staff work well under these difficult conditions and are always very caring. All users of this floor deserve greater consideration.
Poor communication from management is an age-old problem.

We aim to provide our residents a lifestyle with peace of mind and regularly review our facilities and furnishings to ensure our residents are safe and feel supported.
In recent weeks, our care home and senior managers have been working closely with you and our wider community to share our plan to redecorate the dementia floor and address the specific nature of your concerns.
We outlined our planned redecoration and refurnishing of our dementia floor. Subject to contractors' availability, and ensuring residents’ care is not adversely impacted by the project, we intend work to start in May.

A friendly, welcoming home where residents are well looked after by a lovely staff team.

I have been here since it opened in 2006. I can’t believe how time has flown by. Although I already had the skill set I was working as a Bank Chef alongside my own business and was asked to take on the managerial role which was an easy transition. I trained and worked in London, Morocco, France and Italy before returning to the UK and settling in Bournemouth. My food specialities are multicultural and the residents love it when I do theme days. I have been a major part of this home being awarded CQC Outstanding, the CQC assessor loved my secret ingredient “ a bit of love”. I run a monthly Dining Committee where residents can influence what is on the menu, likes and dislikes and I love nothing more than walking around the dining room on a daily basis to ensure their wishes have been followed. I like to surprise residents with their favourite dishes, for special occasions. I have to say I love my job and my residents make me smile every day. I am proud to say I work here.

I am delighted to have been recently appointed for this important role, in delivering a varied, stimulating and educational programme for our residents. I like to think outside the box and ongoing feedback from our residents, it enables my talented activity team to deliver, along with our team of amazing volunteers. I bring to the role my experience of managing teams, Interior Design, Floristry, Art, and Teaching and I even played table tennis for Wales! I have worked in the care sector since 2012, predominantly in dedicated dementia homes. I have been in co-ordinating positions since 2016. I am currently studying to become a Nursing Associate and my ultimate goal is to become a Registered Nurse. I am passionate about person-centred care and ensuring that our residents live their lives as well as they wish, always upholding their wishes and preferences.

In my personal life, I am married and live in Southbourne. I love the beach, especially in the autumn. In my spare time, I love to read criminal and mystery books and take walks down the beach. I am also an unashamed Harry Potter fan.
