The freedom for me to come and go as I wish and their ability to retain some independence there is also a major factor and I've loved visiting and getting to know other residents and the staff. I have been part of the maintenance team at Southbourne Beach Care Home for five years and take great pride in helping to create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents and team. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and following AFC Bournemouth, both home and away. Having supported the club since my first match in 1970, I've experienced every high and low along the way! My wife and I also love travelling to Spain, and next year we'll be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary by taking our grandchildren on their very first overseas holiday.
