My dad moved to Sunrise of Southbourne in March. He has settled in well and is very happy. The staff are friendly, professional and caring. There is a lovely homely atmosphere - like walking into a country house hotel. The residents are key to everything. The range of activities provided is outstanding - from regular quizzes and brain exercises to piano recitals and film nights. Something to suit all tastes and interests. I would highly recommend Southbourne.

In all honesty, I cannot answer Value for Money. I have nothing to compare it with. Would like more green vegetables such as spinach. I do take part in some activities but am an outdoor person and prefer to spend time walking and sitting in the garden rather than playing board games and scrabble.

I have been part of the maintenance team at Southbourne Beach Care Home for five years and take great pride in helping to create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents and team. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and following AFC Bournemouth, both home and away. Having supported the club since my first match in 1970, I've experienced every high and low along the way! My wife and I also love travelling to Spain, and next year we'll be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary by taking our grandchildren on their very first overseas holiday.
