We come to visit our friend Margaret and she is so happy here. It's lovely to see her settled. She is, eating well, which she wasn't before. She is clean and cared for very well. The staff are always friendly and kind I would highly recommend it here.
My husband came to Ashley in April this year. He had had a below the knee amputation. The staff including carers, cleaning ladies the Dr's & nurses who attend the residents are very caring, Always going the extra mile to make sure everyone is comfortable. There is always a smile to greet you when you visit.
Since the company take over at Grevill House there have been a lot of improvements. Personally my father seem happier and more settled. There seems to be more staff, they also seem happier. The staff seem more attentive towards the residence. The cleanliness has also improved. I hope this continues to get better in future. The management team seem more motivated and driven.
I will reiterate that the majority of the staff are lovely, very caring and welcoming; they make you feel that the nursing home is a large family.
My mum has been at Windsor Street for over 7 years. She moved up to nursing 6 months ago. The staff/carers are very caring, gentle and kind and ensure all her needs are met. It is like a second family. I would recommend this home and I trust them with the care of my mum.
At a very traumatic time in my life I found the staff extremely professional and competent when looking after my husband with dementia after a stay in hospital. They were supportive to me when I was worried and upset by the situation. They were kind and understanding with my husband. I felt he was in very good care.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry to hear of the difficult time you and your husband have experienced, and we are pleased to know that our team were able to provide the care, professionalism, and support you both needed. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and will be shared with the team.
The care my mother in law receives is great, the staff are so lovely. Grevill House is well kept, very clean and tidy.

I can only praise the staff they were very attentive, anything I asked for they were there for me nothign seem to be to much to ask. Day and night staff were excellent for my needs. Cleanliness of room was also excellent, food was very good. Only thing wrong was physio they seemed to want me out as soon as I got there, helped for two weeks then nothing else for the last two weeks.
Thank you so much for your lovely words about our home, this has made our day. It was a pleasure caring for you - please do come and see us anytime, you're always welcome here. We will put the kettle on.
My husband was admitted here over 6 weeks ago. The overall experience regarding staff and hospitality has been excellent and I would definitley recommend them all! I can't thank them enough.
Thank you so much for your very kind words and your recommendation. You can't get better feedback than that. Our team will be so thrilled - thank you once again.
My mother was in Grevill House for 9 months, during which time her health deteriorated and she passed away. All the staff went above and beyond with her care. They were particularly helpful with my father who found the situtation very difficult and supported him. Thank you for everything.

There is a shortage of care staff at times which leads to frustration for the residents & also the visitors.
But the carers and nurses working at Grevill are excellent and genuinely care for the resident.
Thank you for leaving us a review of our home and team. We appreciate your feedback and will ensure this is actioned by management.
Mum was supposed to stay in Grevill House six days respite, for a much needed break for my dad, but we had to take her out after 4 due her basic care needs not being met. Mum was only dressed one day and was left in bed all the time she was there other than when my sister and my self took her out, teeth were not cleaned breakfast tray in her room at three in the afternoon. mum was only dressed once staff did not promote mums independence and even though she was only there for four days she came out worse than she went in making things even more difficult for my dad and the family. to look at this place is nice but that is all. This is a honest review of Grevill House.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we are sincerely sorry to hear of your concerns regarding your mother's care at Grevill House. This is not typical and we will investigate. In line with our Feedback and Complaints Procedure, should you wish to raise this matter as a...
My mother has just spent the last six weeks in Ashley Intermediate Care Centre. The care by all the wonderful staff was excellent in every way. They treated my mother who has dementia with so much kindness and professionalism giving her time and patience even when she became agitated and anxious. They always had a smile and took time to reassure & keep us the family involved and informed in what was a very stressful time. I could not fault Ashley Care Centre and am very grateful for their time & care. We wish all the carers the very best. Thank you!!

I was always kept up to date with his condition and the medication he was taking.
Hospital transport was organised for his many visits to hospital, being treated with compassion and dignity.
As a family we were always made to feel very welcome.
I can't thank the staff of Ashley Intermediate Care Centre enough for the care they gave my Dad, from the managers, nurses, carers, housekeepers and tea makers!

I popped into see him this morning and it struck me that Grevill House stands out for one major reason; the outstanding quality of the staff.
Whenever I go into the home it feels like I am visiting a much loved large family. I talk to everyone and am given such a warm welcome by all the staff including the carers, housekeepers, nurses, cooks, the manager and the handyman.
It means so much to me and the family that he is looked after by such lovely people.
Thank you so much for yet another truly fantastic review of our home, we are so grateful. It remains a pleasure caring for your twin brother and seeing his family visit. Our staff will be so chuffed to read how highly you rate them and the care we provide. Family is everything and we hope that comes across in the culture here at Grevill House. Very best wishes from us all.
After suffering a stroke, my husband came to Grevill House totally dependent on others for every aspect of his life. He could do nothing for himself. The care provided by the nursing staff and care assistants was exceptional. They were always cheerful and tried to engage with him in any way possible. He was extremely well looked after and treated kindly and with compassion by all. I was always made to feel welcome and any request was acted upon immediately. I cannot speak highly enough of the care provided by Grevill House.
Thank you so much for your very kind words about our home, the team and the care you received. It really does mean everything to us. It was a real pleasure caring for your husband. Very best wishes to you all.
Mum was treated with dignity, respect and good humour. Staff were cheerful, caring and showed genuine interest in my mother, reassuring us that she was being taken care of and engaged with sensitivity as an individual person, not just a resident or patient.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, we are very grateful. Person-centric care is at the heart of everything we do so we are really glad that this has come across. It was a real pleasure caring for your mother. Best wishes from everyone here at Grevill House.
