Her medical needs were kept under review with regular contact with a local GP and palliative care team, and staff who had a special bond with her were encouraged to look after her. The home has been refurbished recently and is clean and inviting. We called quite often without warning and were always made most welcome. We are deeply grateful to you all for the extraordinary job you have done.

We cannot fault the staff. The only thing that really lets the home down is the lack of investment and it could do with modernising. it. The floor was shabby and watermarked. Walls needed painting. They brought us tea on a tray, it was so old and burnt it should have been thrown away years ago. The whole place needs a makeover, the one part of the garden was okay, the rest was overgrown and not looked after. The residents were never taken anywhere, staff would sometimes take them out on their time off as they felt sorry for them, otherwise, they went nowhere at all.

The home is having work done to improve the building, this will make no difference as it is already very homely and cosy! I have to say they are a credit to the care industry.
