Very happy, helpful staff. I was a little disappointed they didn't pop in to check although all the bells were answered cheerfully and promptly, it was leading up to Christmas with activities going on, I was encouraged to join these, overall felt safe and well cared for.

Cheryl has proudly been part of Richmond Villages for the last five years. Bringing decades of experience to the role, Cheryl has quickly progressed to village manager, stepping up from her role as deputy village manager.
Commenting on her new appointment, Cheryl said: “I love making a difference to people’s day, whether that is with conversation or a simple smile. I never get tired of hearing our residents’ stories of the wonderful things they have done in their lives and supporting them in every way we can.”

I live in Ebley with my husband and my dog. I have 2 sons and 3 grandchildren. I love spending quality time with my family, having days out, walks and going on holidays. I have a great love for nature and all animals but really love dogs.
I have worked in various care sectors since leaving college and very much enjoy supporting people to live happy and full lives. I have worked at Richmond Painswick for over 6 years now and really enjoy being part of the domiciliary team and the village team.
I have been working in care for over 30 years and I have an NVQ Registered Managers Award in Health and Social Care. I have worked with learning disabilities, mental health, and challenging behaviour before coming to Richmond retirement villages.

I have had the pleasure of working for Richmond Villages Painswick since 2015 and enjoy my role as Village Adviser. I look forward to welcoming you to our village and supporting you and your family in your next adventure.
