Mum has been here for three months.
Settling in well.
Appears to be genuinely cared for and about.
She appears to be happy and very much likes all the staff who also like her and could not be more helpful.
She is a fussy eater but they care for her needs.
The general atmosphere from the moment you walk in through the front door is excellent.
The staff keep us fully updated on her conditions.

I cannot praise the staff enough.

Beech Unit, in particular, were fantastic, they gave my mum the most wonderful care. She was only with you for a short while but the manager and team made her stay a caring and loving time.
When we as a family needed to be there towards the end of mums life, we were made to feel cared for and welcomed.

We could ask no more, you were all amazing.

Overall Experience

My mother spent 25 happy years in Chestnut Court and during that time was encouraged to continue her love of gardening, internally by propagating and maintaining plants, and externally growing many flowers which were greatly admired. She participated in the home Fetes by selling plants, crocheted and knitted blankets and second-hand clothing. She made many friends during her stay, both residents and staff. Family members have always been made very welcome and we, in turn, have endeavoured to support the home during fundraising and social events. Sadly, earlier this week, she passed away peacefully aged 101 and the care and love shown to her (and the family) during this difficult time was wonderful.

Thank you Chestnut Court from all the family.

On visiting a friend in Chestnut Court I have it to be clean and tidy. The staff are very very friendly and helpful. The food always looks inviting and good to eat. My friend has really had a wonderful time in here and I would certainly recommend Chestnut Court to others. They even look after visitors. Going to visit my friend here has certainly changed my views on care homes.

During my fathers all to brief stay at Chestnut Court he and we (my wife and I) were met with professionalism. From our initial visit in early November through to his death in early December and beyond, the attitude and care provided was exemplary.
