Barchester Wingfield Care Home is like a second home to our family since my mother was there for six years. Now my husband comes here for respite and gives me (wife/carer) a rest. Everyone is loving, caring, welcoming - many of the staff remember us from years ago. My husband settled in quickly and was happy and well cared for. I can't praise the management and all the staff enough for being there when we were in need and making life easier for us. Many thanks - I'm sure we'll be back.

Disappointing that dietary requirements are often not followed. Staff not aware of individual plated meals. Registered nurse pushy and intimidating. Communications poor with families, with long delays to inform families. Requests for maintenance not passed on/carried out.
Thank you for taking the time to add a review, we are sorry to read your comments. We understand a meeting has been arranged at the home with the General Manager for the 26/04 to discuss your concerns. If we can be of any further support, please do contact us on feedback@barchester.com Kind regards, Barchesters Feedback Team.
