Sevgi Joined Country Court in 2021 as a Senior Carer and is now our Customer Relations Manager at Heartlands. Sevgi is passionate about our residents and delivering the highest standard of care.
I am the Homes Administrator and I support the management team along with other departments in the home.
I assist the whole staff team with regular Covid tests and manage the staff training to ensure we are all working safely, effectively and as a team.
I assist all families and residents with general enquiries and help our residents manage their finances in the home.
I am Activities & Well-being Coordinator at Heartlands so together with my colleague we complete two group activities per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. In between these times I spend time with residents one on one, we have quite a few residents that are unable to take part in group activities so I like to ensure they are not isolated and feel part of our family. I plan future events and activities and I work closely with our CRM to go through ideas. Because I have a background in care I also assist with self-care and mealtimes.
I love my job because I feel that I can contribute towards improving the quality of life for our residents, making them smile is so rewarding. Tracy lives locally, has 3 children and loves her job. The best part of the job is the ‘butterfly moments’, precious moments with residents. I like getting residents together and seeing how socialising can change the mood for residents making them feel more positive and upbeat.
I am also a Dignity Champion for Heartlands Care Home and a Dementia Friend.
I am working towards my Diploma in Care which I will complete in July 2019.
