My father-in-law had his 80th birthday party at the home and it was amazing. It was really kind of the manager to let us use the red room, all the staff were excellent in helping organise the party for us all to enjoy. We were well looked after and I would recommend people use the facility. My father-in-law had a fantastic 80th birthday.
Thank you so much for these kind words and wonderful review. It means so much to our staff to receive such positive feedback and we are so glad your father-in-law had a wonderful birthday!
I would like to thank all the nursing, care and management staff at Newbury Manor very much for looking after my dad so well whilst he was there a few short months. My dear dad sadly passed away suddenly in December. He was treated with care and compassion by all. I was always treated as a friend every time I visited him and felt that my dad was looked after in the best home he needed, after sadly his care needs were too much for me to continue at his home. I would recommend to anyone who find themselves in the same situation I was in a few months ago. Thank you all.
Thank you so much for your kind words; your comments will be passed on to all our staff here at Newbury. We really do appreciate your lovely feedback. We send our condolences from all the staff at Newbury Manor Care Home.
My father-in-law was a resident for only one month, but we cannot thank the staff enough for the care and compassion shown to him and to his wife for the whole time. The whole family were treated like family by the cleaners, the laundry staff, the carers, the nurses and the management - we were all taken care of.
Thank you so much for your kind words; your comments will be passed on to all our staff here at Newbury. We really do appreciate your lovely feedback. We send our condolences from all the staff at Newbury Manor Care Home.
My daughter came to Newbury Manor. The care and kindness they showed my daughter and myself were exceptional, from management to admin staff. Thank you, made me feel very reassured. I recommend Newbury Manor to anyone who is going through what I was.
Thank you for your kind words; all the staff at Newbury Manor appreciate your lovely comments.
I have been a resident at Newbury Manor since September 2023, having been "rescued" by the manager. I had visited my friend since February and found myself in a lot of pain and almost immobile. The manager met me one day when I was in tears, as I could not cope at home. She took me into her office and offered me a room. I took this with open arms. I have now been here for over two months and have received so much help and kindness from the manager and all the staff. Also, a warm and friendly welcome from all the residents. This shows to me what a considerate, helpful and loving community we have here. Some situations are difficult and require great patience from the carers, which is readily given and above and beyond the care of duty.
Once again, thank you so much.
The management comes and sees me every day.
Nurses are great, and I love the care staff.
Thank you so much for your kind words; we really appreciate your lovely comments.
After Mum passed away, everybody was very supportive of us as a family.
Thank you for caring.
Thank you so much for your kind words; your mother was only here for a short amount of time, but everyone at Newbury Manor became very fond of Mum, and we send our condolences from all the staff at Newbury Manor.
My mother has been a resident of Newbury Manor since April 2022, following a severe stroke, which also took her speech and left her unable to communicate verbally. She was very wary when she first arrived, but the staff were friendly and welcoming, and she soon settled. She is treated with care and respect, and the staff manage to understand what she wants. Variety of activities, music and films going on and cater for everyone. Staff and management are very approachable and always willing to help. I would recommend Newbury Manir.
Thank you so much for your kind words; it is much appreciated.
Very good care. Excellent staff.
Thank you for your kind words from all the staff at Newbury Manor.
All the staff are friendly and supportive to Mom and me. Mom has dementia so it's such a comfort for us to know she is safe and well cared for round the clock, especially as I am 3 hours away. Mom is a lot better in herself than when she was trying to cope alone at home, she's put on weight and enjoys the companionship of the staff and other residents and gets pleasure (and benefit) from taking part in the daily activities.
Thank you for your kind words it is much appreciated. We are glad to hear you are happy with the care delivered to your loved one. It is a pleasure to look after your mom, thank you from all the staff at Newbury Manor Care Home.
The staff in reception are extremely pleasant. On the whole, all the staff are pleasant and all areas are kept clean.
Thank you for your kind words, it is a pleasure to look after your brother - from all the staff at Newbury Manor.
The support staff/management are also excellent and very efficient and keep me well informed of anything as and when required. My mom has had several trips to the hospital over the years due to various illnesses and the staff have always reacted quickly and efficiently in ensuring she receives appropriate medical attention.
I cannot speak highly enough of Newbury Manor and the staff and management there and would not hesitate to recommend them.

The staff at Newbury Manor Nursing Home have cared for my uncle for the last 5 years following a deterioration with Parkinson's Disease and Dementia. During this time he was treated with dignity, care and love by the carers, managers and the administration team, who adored him. He became part of their family and equally, the staff were his family in his eyes. The activities team who came in every week to entertain the staff were brilliant. In my uncle's early days, he loved to join in. The team also made us as a family feel very welcome, nothing was ever a problem. I would highly recommend Newbury Manor, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

My mother was discharged from hospital to Newbury Manor. During this time, she was treated with dignity and care, all the staff were very welcoming and communicated well with us as a family. Staff went above and beyond for my mother and I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a placement.
We deeply appreciate your positive feedback, we always try our best and are always willing to learn by our mistakes. The management team are always available to listen and would like to continue to enhance everyone's wellbeing. Many thanks all the staff at Newbury Manor Nursing Home.
Due to Data Protection Act obviously nothing sensitive, just he had a good day today or he needs some new pyjamas or things like that.
Also, I would like to see a chart to see how many times a day he is changed and checked on. It seems that every time someone visits there is a mad scramble to change him as he is wet through.
My uncle has been in Newbury Manor for some months now. The staff have shown great care and compassion towards him. I just wish we could get the social services sides of this sorted for him now as he is worrying regarding his funding.
Thank you for your kind words from all staff and management at Newbury Manor.
Very pleased with the overall care and support given to my mom. All staff are very polite and home is very comforting. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends who are looking for a lovely care home.

My mother was moved into Newbury Manor from the hospital after a devastating stroke. Her final few days were made comfortable and as dignified as possible. For the brief time she was a resident, all of the staff were wonderful and provided an excellent quality of care and made myself and other family members welcome during our visits.
Thank you for your kind words, pleased you had a good experience with Newbury Manor.
Massive improvement in my mom since she arrived from the hospital. The staff are very caring and friendly. Mom is eating and drinking lots more with the help of the staff. Thank you.
