I have found Newbury Manor Nursing Home to be extremely supportive in the care of my mother. Any issues have been handled swiftly and the communication from the nurses has been without fault. All staff are approachable and kind; this has given me much-needed reassurance during a very difficult time.
Thank you for your kind words. We are glad to hear you were happy with the care delivered to your loved one.
The care I get from the staff is wonderful, nothing is ever too much for them. I feel safe and the staff make sure I am tidy. I would tell anyone if they have need of care in a home for the short or long term. This home is well worth checking.
The care my mother receives is excellent, all staff are caring and nothing is too much trouble for them. Mum is bedridden but all her needs are catered for. As a 91-year-old she understands all that is done for her. The staff take time to talk to her and explain things. As she is also blind, her food is presented to her with explanation to what it is and where on the plate each food item is.
I have been extremely impressed with the care my father has received, especially when his wife passed away. The staff work extremely hard and they are always supportive and helpful. I would recommend this nurse home and I can't thank them enough for all that they have done for my father. Management are excellent as well as the whole team.
Thank you for your kind words, it was a pleasure to look after your dad.
It was my 91st birthday at the beginning of August and the staff were very happy to help me celebrate, by wishing me happy birthday and making a beautiful tasty cake. I can only say that all the staff at Newbury Manor are helpful, considerate, kind and always very pleasant. Always ready to attend to all my needs day or night. Nothing is too much trouble for them. As I am bedridden staff pop their heads around the door all the time to make sure I am okay.
My father was discharged from hospital to Newbury Manor. He was there for two and a half weeks. During that time, he was treated with dignity and care. Communication with family was excellent. He enjoyed the food and the company of staff and other residents. As a family, we were all treated very kindly. This was very much appreciated at what was a stressful time. Thankfully, Dad was well enough to be discharged home after his short stay.
My mother had severe dementia and was extremely well cared for in her two years here. I live 250 miles away so it was a great comfort to know she was looked after so well. The staff were excellent and communicated with me whenever any problem arose.
Thank you for your kind words, it was a pleasure to look after your mum.
Very pleased with the overall care and support given to my mother. All of the staff are very professional and caring and we know that my mother is pleased with the care she receives and the friendliness and compassion of her carers. Our family is very grateful to all of the hard-working staff who have continued to provide the same level of care during the COVID-19 pandemic.
My aunt is looked after extremely well. Her needs are met more than adequately. I am notified regularly if she isn't well, and treatment is given or the doctor called to see her when necessary. Although since covid, lack of being able to visit regularly has had a detrimental effect on my aunt's mental health.
Thank you for your kind words Linda, much appreciated.
My dad was in Newbury Manor Nursing Home for 4 weeks before he died and the care and compassion given to him and I was amazing. Would have no hesitation in recommending. Thank you, Newbury Manor. Every aspect of care was delivered as if looking after their own relatives.
Staff are always pleasant to visitors. My nan is usually hard to please and always dreaded going into a home, but other than wishing to go on days out (Covid stopping her) she has no complaints which is an amazing achievement.
Very helpful staff, no problems from my experience.
The staff are very friendly nothing is too much trouble.
I have and would recommend this home to family and friends.
The staff also supported family members with kind attention and compassion in Mom's final hours.
My mother spent the last 15 months of her life at Newbury Manor. She settled well and she felt that she was well cared for and that she had a better quality of life at Newbury Manor than she did trying to cope at home by herself. She particularly enjoyed the excellent meals. As her family, we were impressed by the dedication and compassion shown by the carers and by the nursing staff. We were confident that my mother was in very good hands and it was a great weight off our shoulders to know that she was well looked after. We would have no hesitation in recommending Newbury Manor.
For the last few months since my father came into the home, I feel a good atmosphere due to the friendliness of all the staff and office staff and handyman. The staff do a good job interacting with clients and doing all sorts for special anniversaries of D.Day etc. Other activities going on from the staff outside the home.
Thank you for your kind words, we appreciate your positive feedback.
I know from conversations I had with my sister-in-law she was very happy there and never having had any children she had more care and attention than she had in most of her life. Thank you all.
Exceptional care!
My dad was well cared for. Some staff were friendlier than others.
When my dad was dying, the night staff were amazingly kind.
I did arrange to return the following day with a suitcase to collect Dad's clothes but they had already been put out in black bin liners!
Thank you all.
