Newbury Manor is first class in every way spotlessly clean, good food, staff extremely efficient and always willing to help in every way.
My father was in the nursing home for only a short time (1 week) but in talking to him, he couldn't praise the home highly enough and the whole staff treated him wonderfully. He passed away on the 4/12/17 I was notified about his death early in the morning and I was treated with dignity and very professionally.
Even though my mother-in-law's stay here was short, she was treated well. The staff were always friendly and helpful.
The care home was always clean and my mother-in-law was treated with respect.
I would recommend this home to anyone. It was one of the best homes she has been in over nine years of illness and dementia.
It's a lovely home. They make you feel at home whenever you want. Their standards were very good. It's a very friendly home and I would recommend the home to anyone.
My mum was only in Newbury Manor Nursing Home for 2 weeks prior to passing away. However, in the short time she was in the home, she received excellent care and attention. The staff have also been very supportive since my mum passed away.
My father in law came into the care of Newbury Manor care home and it's been his best move. He's so happy and the nurses are so lovely he gets on so well with them all - well we all do. He's come on so well with lots of things. I find they encourage him to do things he wouldn't do, so after having a major stroke and living in a home in Lincoln, it's lovely to see him doing so well. He has a lovely room with a lovely view. We can all say the manager is a lovely lady and a fantastic manager. She will help you with anything you need help with. 100% quality. Very clean home and very friendly.
The care my husband has received in the two weeks he has been here has been outstanding. Anything he has needed he got. Cannot thank the staff enough for the care they have shown.
The home seems very satisfactory and suits what our son needs in regards to his stroke.
My mother entered Newbury Manor from hospital at the end of October. From the initial contact onwards all the staff have treated Mom with dignity, respect and excellent care. The home and rooms are very clean. The food is very good and all the other facilities and activities are excellent. I would recommend this nursing home to others.
I am very pleased my sister is here at Newbury Manor Nursing Home. They not only care about my sister but also care for me in a way.
One of our family go in daily to see our mother and I think this helps with seeing how our mother is being cared for. Hopefully, god willing, they treat her well when we are not there and when she might lash out when being changed. If ever we have any concerns or worries we always have a word with the carers or staff who are always helpful and try and resolve the problem.
The care my mom has received at Newbury Manor Nursing Home has been excellent, from all the staff. She is always clean and smells lovely her nails are always clean. Her medical care is excellent and I am always kept informed on my moms condition. Every single member of staff has treated not only my mum with dignity and respect but myself and my family as well. The home has a friendly atmosphere and a genuine caring attitude. I have never had any concerns about anything here.
The home is always cleaned to a high standard and the manager is always helpful if there is a query.
I visited nine care homes and Newbury Manor as the only one that I felt to be a very good atmosphere when I walked in.
The staff were particularly caring and thoughtful especially as my mother was in continual pain.
No complaints at all. The staff are really good. The food was wholesome and nourishing, but nothing fancy. The atmosphere was always pleasant and the staff were always welcoming to visitors.
Very friendly and helpful.
The home is very clean, the staff are polite and prepared to put their selves out when needed. Couldn't be in better hands.
I have visited this home many times over the three years that my brother has been a resident, and I have never been met with other than kindness and friendliness. The home is well cared for and the staff work very hard.
My father has lived here since January 2016. He moved from his flat following a diagnosis of alzheimer's and vascular dementia given 4 years previously. Since being here dad appears more settled and content. More than anything he is safe and well cared for. If there are any concerns I know I can raise them and they will be dealt with.
Newbury Manor was home for my mother for only a few weeks but for the most part I believe she was cared for to the best of anyone's ability. The nursing staff were caring, considerate and most of the carers were attentive, though I do feel they had a heavy workload most of the time.
