Parklands Court ensures that 24-hour assistance is available for all residents. Nursing and residential dementia care is offered, in addition to Parkinson's, palliative, respite and convalescence care.

Situated in a pleasant suburb of Bloxwich, close to all local amenities and bus stops, Parklands consists of six individual buildings each offering a high standard of care and accommodation. The home is surrounded by large landscaped gardens with furnished patio areas and a sensory garden, providing the perfect setting to relax or socialise. Residents have access to a Memory Box, reminiscence sessions and an optician, and Wifi hotspots are available within the home. A hairdresser and a cafe specially designed for residents with dementia are also available.

Whether it is a hot or cold meal residents enjoy, their tastes are catered for at Parklands. By using seasonal produce, the home guarantees an exciting and changeable menu to ensure residents receive the nutritious food they need.

Care assistants are active in engaging residents in hobbies or pastimes that they enjoy such as gardening to keep both mind and body stimulated and active. Monthly celebrations such as Mother’s day and Christmas are a highlight of the home’s busy calendar.

My husband stayed in Parklands Court Care Home for 10 to 12 weeks and passed away in hospital after leaving the home as he was very unwell. I was quite satisfied with the care he received and all the staff were very helpful and kind towards him.

The manager of Samual House (unit in Parklands) came to hopsital to do a review on my hubby. I found him very caring and understandable and since moving my hubby in, my doubts and concerns were halved - even though it's the worst decision I've ever had to make.


My hubby has settled in really well

and has really enjoyed the food. In fact, he's gone up a size in jeans! The staff are really good to my hubby, and they work really hard. They are always pleasant. I know I've made the right decision now he is really comfortable.

This nursing home has provided the much-needed care that my Sister-in-law urgently required.

My sister has been treated with respect, dignity and the utmost care from everyone. Food, cleanliness and attention to her needs have been paramount. The staff always have a smile and inform our family on her progress. We feel that a weight has been lifted from our shoulders now that she is being looked

My mom has been a resident at Parklands for 4 years. The staff have always been very helpful and caring at all times. Nothing has been too much trouble for any of them - when approached with any issues. Would certainly recommend the home.

Dad came in on a temporary basis whilst his wife was terminally ill with cancer. He was well looked after and loved the food. He always wanted to come home and this was mums wish. Thank you.

Dad was well looked after during his end of life care stay. The staff are all exemplary and very caring, patient and attentive to the needs of dad and to the family also. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They went beyond the extra mile in so many ways and times.


Cannot recommend them highly

enough.

My experience of Parklands Court Care Home I would only be too pleased to recommend it due to the love, care and devotion to all the patients of this nursing home. It is a difficult job because the people being cared for cannot speak for themselves they all work every hard to give the patients a better
quality of life. I also noticed the cleanliness of every room I always told the cleaners that there is never any unpleasant smells well done. The staff all work hard together, I have always said it begins with the management then you get a good workforce and a lovely family atmosphere. Thank You.

My husband came here after being in hopsital for 10 weeks without any will to do anything. Within 1 day he was dressed and sitting in a chair eating a meal. He could not speak properly now he is talking to us most of the time we are with him. All of the staff give the residents good care,

Mom was very happy during the 14 months she resided there. Staff were always courteous, cheerful and helpful "first class". No hesitation in recommending this establishment to anyone seeking a care/nursing home.

A very friendly, homely care home. All staff and management are very helpful, caring and understanding to both residents and family. My mom has really improved since leaving hospital to stay here. She looks better, feels better and seems more like her old self.
