Parklands Court ensures that 24-hour assistance is available for all residents. Nursing and residential dementia care is offered, in addition to Parkinson's, palliative, respite and convalescence care.

Situated in a pleasant suburb of Bloxwich, close to all local amenities and bus stops, Parklands consists of six individual buildings each offering a high standard of care and accommodation. The home is surrounded by large landscaped gardens with furnished patio areas and a sensory garden, providing the perfect setting to relax or socialise. Residents have access to a Memory Box, reminiscence sessions and an optician, and Wifi hotspots are available within the home. A hairdresser and a cafe specially designed for residents with dementia are also available.

Whether it is a hot or cold meal residents enjoy, their tastes are catered for at Parklands. By using seasonal produce, the home guarantees an exciting and changeable menu to ensure residents receive the nutritious food they need.

Care assistants are active in engaging residents in hobbies or pastimes that they enjoy such as gardening to keep both mind and body stimulated and active. Monthly celebrations such as Mother’s day and Christmas are a highlight of the home’s busy calendar.

I am so relieved to have my mother somewhere safe, secure, clean and caring. I struggle to come to terms with and deal with her dementia but all the staff in Clarendon House at Parklands Court, Bloxwich are so understanding and helpful, they help me cope.
The house manager is brilliant, the staff are
all superb at dealing with Mom, plus the activities coordinator always has something going on to encourage the residents to stay active - and she's brilliant with them. They knit, sing and help in the garden.


Last week they went to Chester Zoo and had a fantastic time - Mom even remembers going and what a lovely day she had, loving all the animals and especially the monkeys! Mom also has her hair done once a week by the visiting hairstylist which gives her a lift and keeping her looking like my Mom, despite the fact that most of the time she's not really with us in 2017.


Just in September, they've had a French week, Spanish week, Italian Week and Greek week. I think a German week is on the cards (Mom is not so keen on that as she remembers the war!!) Relatives and visitors are always welcome at whatever time they choose and we can always ring up and speak to Mom or ask how she is.


I am so grateful for Parklands Court, Clarendon House and the wonderful care given to Mom. A huge thank you!!

When my husband deteriorated to the point of needing a care home, I was devastated, and wanted to provide him the best, most caring place I could. I was so dismayed by many other homes, whereby some didn't even want my beloved husband as he was too active, requiring more work.
My first visit to Parklands
and I was won over by the way the staff interacted with the residents, encouraging them to make choices, providing activities and environmental triggers to bring back memories. They were and are treated like individuals, with respect for their past and future. I wasn't sure how I could afford financially to bring him here, but morally I couldn't justify not giving him this.
This place is wonderful. The meals are good, with great choice but more than that, they encourage spouses to come and share meals with their beloved, as they would at home. The staff here truly do care, and they do a brilliant job. I have peace of mind knowing my husband is actually cared for here.

It was my wife's grandmother's 100th birthday. The staff at Parklands made every effort to welcome us to the nursing home and had made such a special effort to provide food, drinks, cake and balloons for the occasion.


It is quite clear that all the staff who work here make a great team and take

great pride in their work. Most importantly, they put the residents first.

This care home is by far the best I've visited. The staff are super, friendly, jovial, they make patients and visitors relaxed.
Nothing is too much trouble for them, they are truly the best. It's a pleasure to come here. It's clean, tidy, fresh. Two people are exceptional carers, but that's not taking
anything away from the others, they are all 'great'.

Staff were always smiling and treated my mum with dignity. Every time we visited they were always smiling. She looked clean, comfortable and happy. The premises always looked clean. She enjoyed the food.

My husband stayed in Parklands Court Care Home for 10 to 12 weeks and passed away in hospital after leaving the home as he was very unwell. I was quite satisfied with the care he received and all the staff were very helpful and kind towards him.

The manager of Samual House (unit in Parklands) came to hopsital to do a review on my hubby. I found him very caring and understandable and since moving my hubby in, my doubts and concerns were halved - even though it's the worst decision I've ever had to make.


My hubby has settled in really well

and has really enjoyed the food. In fact, he's gone up a size in jeans! The staff are really good to my hubby, and they work really hard. They are always pleasant. I know I've made the right decision now he is really comfortable.

My sister has been treated with respect, dignity and the utmost care from everyone. Food, cleanliness and attention to her needs have been paramount. Dad came in on a temporary basis whilst his wife was terminally ill with cancer. He was well looked after and loved the food. He always wanted to come home and this was mums wish. Thank you.
