Parklands Court ensures that 24-hour assistance is available for all residents. Nursing and residential dementia care is offered, in addition to Parkinson's, palliative, respite and convalescence care.

Situated in a pleasant suburb of Bloxwich, close to all local amenities and bus stops, Parklands consists of six individual buildings each offering a high standard of care and accommodation. The home is surrounded by large landscaped gardens with furnished patio areas and a sensory garden, providing the perfect setting to relax or socialise. Residents have access to a Memory Box, reminiscence sessions and an optician, and Wifi hotspots are available within the home. A hairdresser and a cafe specially designed for residents with dementia are also available.

Whether it is a hot or cold meal residents enjoy, their tastes are catered for at Parklands. By using seasonal produce, the home guarantees an exciting and changeable menu to ensure residents receive the nutritious food they need.

My grandmother first stayed in Parklands Court just a few months ago, initially for respite following admittance into hospital after a fall at home. She is 95-years old and up until recently, had lived independently in her own home. Following respite, our plan was for her to move in with my aunt as
she was unable to return home due to needing increased care and support. This arrangement did not work out and we had to make the difficult decision as a family to place my grandmother in a care home. Parklands Court was our first choice following the respite experience. As a family, we cannot fault the support - both physical and emotional - we have received from the whole staff team, from the management to the carers and auxiliary staff. They have been fantastic! The accommodation is perfect and my grandmother has a beautiful room with her own patio/miniature garden. We have been allowed to completely personalise the room and it's home from home. Huge thanks for the love and care from all!

My husband has been in the home for three and a half years. I have found the home very satisfactory I only know about Elmore Ward, the carers are very good at their job and I am always treated very kindly. I've never had much to do with the managers so I couldn't say much about them, all I know is that

My Dad arrived at Parklands Court and was placed in Harrison Ward for his end of life care. All the staff we dealt with were caring and compassionate to Dad's needs, nothing was too much trouble. They were very kind to us too. We couldn't have had better care for Dad and this made his passing more bearable
during a very difficult time for all the family. Dad was only there a few days, but we felt it to be a warm, caring environment with lovely staff.

My mom was at Parklands Court for 9 months and sadly passed away last week. She stayed on Samuel House and her care there was second to none.
The staff were brilliant with mom and nothing was too much trouble and she was always treated with respect. The staff really cared for her much more than just
doing their job making her feel safe and helping her adjust to life at home. Plus, whenever our family went to visit, which was every day, we were always made very welcome and any queries or questions we had were always answered professionally yet friendly, no matter how busy they were. Could go on and on but will never be able to thank the staff enough for everything they did for our mom.

My uncle has been receiving respite care at Marlborough House for the past 6 weeks. The care he has received from all staff has been outstanding, as a family we cannot thank them all enough. The staff are friendly, compassionate and caring towards both residents and their relatives. Marlborough is a
home from home, the environment is bright and dementia friendly. Bedrooms are a good size with plenty of storage. Specialist diets are catered for, my uncle has food allergies and alternatives are provided, he has gained weight and always enjoyed the food. There are quiet areas for use when visiting as noise levels on the unit can be high at times but this is to be expected as many of the residents have complex needs associated with their dementia. The activity coordinator is very good and provides both group and one-to-one activities. I would recommend this home to anyone and hope that when my uncle needs long term care a bed is available. Thank you all for everything you have done!

Our family member went in on respite and is now a permanent client as his care package had changed and was more challenging. We, as a family, have found all staff are trained for all his requirements, professional and friendly and nothing is a problem and consult us of any changes. The unit manager
is a credit to the unit that our family member is on which is Marlborough House. Thank you for all your hard work and dedicated team.

I cannot thank all the staff enough at Parklands Court for their love, care and support they have all shown to my mom during her 3-year stay at this home. If you have any issues - speak to the manager at each home as I have always found them to be receptive to any issues. My mom was on Marlborough for
the last 12 months of her life. The care that she received here was excellent - every member of the team treated her with dignity and respect and the end of life care they provided was exceptional. They never gave up on her and tried their best to encourage her to eat and drink. My mom had advanced dementia and was aggressive - particularly with personal care. Despite this, all the staff carried out their daily tasks with smiles on their faces. They always spoke to her as an individual and included her in their conversations. Her end of life care was excellent - it makes such a difference to families when you know that your loved one is being looked after so well.

I just wanted to say 'Thank you' to all the staff of Harrison House who looked after my mom at the end of her life.
I could not have asked for anything more. You were all so kind and caring. Nothing was too much trouble; from basic nursing care to the love and attentiveness shown that was obvious to
us as a family. The house manager and staff went above and beyond in mom's care. Spending time just holding her hand when we were not around. That was heartwarming, knowing mom had such contact.
Mom was only with you for a short while but you all treated her like she was your own family.

My father has been in Parklands for seven years, during which time I have always found staff extremely caring and helpful. The administration staff, especially one, always looking out for both my father and myself. I know they will miss my father and always felt it was a family environment.

This home is currently undergoing a lot of changes which I believe will improve the overall standard of care. Staff are caring and familiar with the needs of residents; they show genuine fondness and attachment to residents. The environment needs some improvements and this is underway. I feel confident

Elmore House is brilliant for my mother in law. There has been a dramatic improvement in her physical, emotional and mental condition.
The staff on Elmore appear to be very resident focused with a good manager in charge.

Completely satisfied with my husbands care satisfied with his appearance. My husband is settled and content which makes me feel better. My communication with his carers is very good. Christmas day I was invited to dinner which was excellent and enjoyed by all. As was boxing day with a singer providing
entertainment, some of the residents danced! The home seems to have problems with pairing pyjamas.

My husband and I had a lovely Christmas Day. We congratulate the staff, they were fantastic, really caring and helpful, I would not fault them at all. They looked after everyone making it a lovely day. Decorations were lovely too.


I have one complaint about pyjamas and t-shirts going missing.

My wife has received excellent care in every area of need. Despite having advanced Vascular Dementia and having been rejected by another home because they were unable to cope with her, she seems to have an enjoyable time during the 11 days respite. Able to take part in activities but enjoying "company"
the care home have coped ably with her despite the fact that she can be stubborn at times, particularly with eating, drinking and dressing.

The staff are hard working, kind, full of empathy and have a happy attitude towards the dementia patients.
