Our Mum was sent to Rushall Nursing after being at Walsall Hospice, Goscote. Whilst Mum only spent 10 days there, whilst she was there all the nursing staff, carers and management not only cared for Mum amazingly they also cared and looked after my sister and I. We slept in Mum's room with her for the week before Mum sadly passed away. The staff gave us a camp bed, they fed us, and generally went over and above to ensure we were looked after while with Mum in her final few days. There is a lot of love and care at Rushall, the love and care given to our Mum and my sister and I will never be forgotten. Mum was cared for with dignity and love and everyone at Rushall went above and beyond. Thank you.

As a family we feel so fortunate that our Mom

was able to spend her last couple of months at Rushall. The care she received was exceptional. Without exception all staff treated mom with the utmost respect, dignity and compassion. The staff genuinely care and nothing was too much trouble. As a family we were made to feel welcome whenever we visited and we were able to stay with mom overnight as she reached the end of life, with staff providing a place to sleep, food and drink and much needed emotional support. Rushall care home is a special place with amazing staff that go above and beyond as a matter of course. Thank you so very much we are forever thankful to you all

Our family will always be grateful to the wonderful staff at Rushall Hall who cared for my Grandma. Although her stay was short, the kindness and compassion shown to my Grandma and our family made a difficult time much easier for all of us.

The team not only looked after Grandma with great care and respect, but they also supported our family throughout those precious final days. Every member of staff was understanding, considerate, and reassuring, helping us feel welcome and supported when we needed it most.

Thank you for the exceptional care and kindness you showed to both Grandma and our family.

Words will never be enough to express our heartfelt gratitude to the team at Rushall for the level of care they provided for my late father.
He was admitted for end of life care & was only a resident for a short period of time before he passed away, but whilst there he was cared for with the utmost respect & dignity. The team also extended their care to our family, making sure we were as comfortable as possible, providing us with food & drinks so that we could spend those precious last days by my Dad's bedside.
Nobody wants to say goodbye to the ones they love, but thanks to Rushall Care Home my Dad passed away peacefully, free of pain and surrounded by his loved ones, just as he wanted. For that, there will never be enough words to express our gratitude.

Our only regret is that he didn't go there sooner to experience all the wonderful things Rushall has to offer. He had a great sense of humour and I could just imagine him saying, "This is more like a 5* hotel than a care home!"

I have nothing but brilliant things to say about the care that my mom has received in Rushall Care Home. We were so lucky that this is the home that was provided as an emergency bed and it turned out to be the best thing for us all. All of staff are just fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. It's so reassuring to know that mom is safe and being entertained and looked after so well. She is thriving.

I think this care home is amazing. I was not sure at first, but within the first few days, the standards really stood out. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and very welcoming. It's like we all became one big family. Nothing was too much trouble, and even the cleaning staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Then when my dad said he would be more than happy to spend the rest of his life here, that was amazing, and since moving to this home, my dads health and general zest for life has really improved. I am so happy with you all. Thank you

My uncle was only at Rushall for 2 weeks but it gives me joy to know the efforts of the carers and staff to make him feel at home and welcome. He was extremely frail and fragile but the carers went above and beyond to get him out of bed, into a wheelchair and then into the lounge where he was able to enjoy a chat and a Bailey's no less. Heartfelt thanks to Phil and the team.

My husband was cared for over a period of 3 years. At all times his care was excellent - he was treated with kindness and with dignity. Over the final days of his life, the care was exceptional. Over 2 years ago, I was struggling to find a nursing home suitable for mom after a number of falls, an admission into hospital and being transferred to a very unsuitable nursing home. Finally after viewing a number of nursing homes I came across Rushall. From the minute I entered I was made to feel welcome and as soon as my mom arrived she was made to feel safe. All the management and carers excelled at trying to provide the most suitable care for my mom. There is no doubt this is why my mom was with us for another 2 years. Everyone, including managers, administration, nurses, carers, activity coordinator, cleaners, cooks, housekeeping, maintenance, and hairdresser made such a difference. Knowing that I could visit at anytime and assist with caring for my mom eased my concerns.
My mom loved the chat and banter with all the staff, that way she didn't feel alone.

Sadly my mom passed away on 28/8/25 with her family around her and supported by the staff. Thank you all for your kindness.

All Staff are fantastic and work hard, they made mom's last few months with them a pleasure with all the care and support they gave not just to mom but to us all as a family. They took away all the worry that we had about mom going in to a home for the final part of her journey in life. I can't thank them enough for all they did, if anyone was to ask me about looking for a home for their family member I would highly recommend them.

Our great aunt became a resident for end of life care but recovered somewhat and had the most exceptional time in the last few years of her life. The staffs dedication to the care and entertainment of residents is the best I've ever seen. The entertainment kept her happy and busy during those years especially the visits from the children.

When she started to decline recently we spent lots of time at the home wanting her not to be alone in her final days and hours, and I cannot compliment the staff enough with their care, compassion and dedication to her and to us. Rushall is an exceptional place for residents and visitors. Well done Rushall!

Rushall Care Home looked after my Nan for the last few months of her life. Only "looked after" could never adequately describe it. Rushall Care Home loved my Nan for the last few months of her life. From the moment she went in she was part of The Rushall Family . They welcomed her, they welcomed us and nothing was too much trouble She was an incredible woman and I thought nobody could ever care for her the way she deserved, I was wrong. Rushall could. It's a care home like no other, She found a second family before she left us Everything there was about people, there was no sense of industry or it being a business and despite how skilled the staff were and how clean the place was it just didn't feel like a clinical setting, Warmth and kindness emanated from everybody, nobody was there because it was a job. Rushall put the 'care' in care home and Rushall put the 'home' in care home. I will never know how they fit so much empathy into a building with just 3 floors.

Hi all, I’ve worked here at Rushall since 2015, before that I worked as a community carer for 3 years. I have also worked as a private 1:1 carer, for around 10 years. I love to learn and have my NVQ2 and 3, Dementia level 2 and medication qualifications. I love my job and do my best to keep all the residents safe and happy. Working at Rushall is like my second family.

Hi all, my name is Sam, I’m 28 and I started here at Rushall in 2016. Family is very important me, and I have previously studied childcare. I love Rushall very much, I eagerly returned after my maternity leave. Having my little boy means that I can only work once a week, and extra when I can. I treat all of the residents as my own family. I am very bubbly, even after a long night shift.

Hi all, I’ve worked here at Rushall since 2017, previously to working here I’ve been a support worker with people who have learning difficulties. Working at Rushall is close to my own family home, and perfect for doing the school run with my kids. I enjoy every day, helping residents and supporting end of life care. When my children are older, I intend on climbing the career ladder as I love to train and expand on my knowledge.

Hi, I’m Katy, I’m 17 years old, at the moment I’m exploring future career ideas and really fancy working in healthcare. I have friends and family who work here. The General Manager Phil gave me the opportunity to start in a bank position, I have now been given contracted hours. I would like to think that I might become a nurse. Watch this space.
