This week marks one year since my amazing Mom, Peggy, passed away. I have wanted to write this review for so long, but the truth is I have been broken since losing her and never quite found the words.

On the anniversary of Mom's passing, I knew I had to go back to Rushall to see the amazing team who cared for her and supported our whole family through the most difficult time of our lives.

Mom was never just another resident. The staff knew Peggy, genuinely cared about her and treated her with kindness, dignity and love.

When Mom reached the end of her life, they were there for all of us, making sure she was comfortable and surrounded by people who cared.

A year later, I miss my Mom more than words can say, but I will always be grateful to the wonderful Rushall team. You will forever have a special place in my heart.

My Mom was a resident at Rushall for 3 years. All the care she received was Exceptional in everyway. Rushall was her home and became ours also. She was incredibly grateful and often said I am so lucky to be cared for so well by everyone whatever role they played. Rushall had a very happy atmosphere when we visited and we felt very welcomed. My Mom was treated with the upmost compassion,empathy and dignity the care was consistent and never wavered. When Mom passed away it was very peaceful ,,,,She was with the people that loved and cared for her Special thanks to Nurse Tracey ,Carer Tracey and Ruth her keyworker. Obviously Phil and Kirstie ,Abie and Rhiannon..... BUT we will never forget any of you ....we will visit promise... xx

My father-in-law albert spent 10 weeks in rushall care home , I cant thank them enough for the excellent care they gave albert , im so thankfull that we were able to spend time with him before he passed away , Tracey and abbie the nurses were amazing , thankyou all from alberts family .x

Our Mum was sent to Rushall Nursing after being at Walsall Hospice, Goscote. Whilst Mum only spent 10 days there, whilst she was there all the nursing staff, carers and management not only cared for Mum amazingly they also cared and looked after my sister and I. We slept in Mum's room with her for the week before Mum sadly passed away. The staff gave us a camp bed, they fed us, and generally went over and above to ensure we were looked after while with Mum in her final few days. There is a lot of love and care at Rushall, the love and care given to our Mum and my sister and I will never be forgotten. Mum was cared for with dignity and love and everyone at Rushall went above and beyond. Thank you.

Mom spent 3 days at Rushall for end of life care. Every member of staff treated our mum with the care and dignity she so deserved. Family also who came welcomed and cared for in every way they possibly could. Not just a care home they more like a family. Thankyou

was able to spend her last couple of months at Rushall. The care she received was exceptional. Without exception all staff treated mom with the utmost respect, dignity and compassion. The staff genuinely care and nothing was too much trouble. As a family we were made to feel welcome whenever we visited and we were able to stay with mom overnight as she reached the end of life, with staff providing a place to sleep, food and drink and much needed emotional support. Rushall care home is a special place with amazing staff that go above and beyond as a matter of course. Thank you so very much we are forever thankful to you all

Our family will always be grateful to the wonderful staff at Rushall Hall who cared for my Grandma. Although her stay was short, the kindness and compassion shown to my Grandma and our family made a difficult time much easier for all of us.

The team not only looked after Grandma with great care and respect, but they also supported our family throughout those precious final days. Every member of staff was understanding, considerate, and reassuring, helping us feel welcome and supported when we needed it most.

Thank you for the exceptional care and kindness you showed to both Grandma and our family.

Mom went into Alexia Court on a respite basis, this has now been extended for full time care as she has settled really well. Staff are really good with the residents and very caring. Mom has dementia, so not easy for the carers who do a brilliant job for her. Currently the home is being upgraded/decorated. Mon's room is clean, her laundry gets done and she seems happy. Lots of activities throughout the week for entertainment. Thank you for your care on behalf of mum.

Our only regret is that he didn't go there sooner to experience all the wonderful things Rushall has to offer. He had a great sense of humour and I could just imagine him saying, "This is more like a 5* hotel than a care home!"

As a family we would all like to pass on our thanks to Sarah and her wonderful team. They all made mom extremely comfortable and settled at Alexia court from her arrival in August until she sadly passed away on Monday. Nothing is too much trouble for Sarah and her team and we are so grateful that mom was with them. Thank you Sarah.

It is a good care home. My mother is very happy here and she gets looked after so I am happy that she is in the right place.

M mother has recently moved into your care home. As a family we are really pleased with how you have helped her settle in. It's very confusing for her, but the staff all seem to have a calm attitude that has made mom feel more secure and included.

I have nothing but brilliant things to say about the care that my mom has received in Rushall Care Home. We were so lucky that this is the home that was provided as an emergency bed and it turned out to be the best thing for us all. All of staff are just fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. It's so reassuring to know that mom is safe and being entertained and looked after so well. She is thriving.

Rushall care home have gave my father in law a smile on his face again ,since being here every single person who works there is polite ,caring and always go above and beyond to make sure he has what he wants and needs he feels very safe there and happy he gets 3 meals a day plus extra they know he loves his puddings :) always monitor what he eats and drinks , plenty of activities to do and the residents are also lovely so glad this care home was on our list of choices we definitely made the right choice :)

I think this care home is amazing. I was not sure at first, but within the first few days, the standards really stood out. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and very welcoming. It's like we all became one big family. Nothing was too much trouble, and even the cleaning staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Then when my dad said he would be more than happy to spend the rest of his life here, that was amazing, and since moving to this home, my dads health and general zest for life has really improved. I am so happy with you all. Thank you

My uncle was only at Rushall for 2 weeks but it gives me joy to know the efforts of the carers and staff to make him feel at home and welcome. He was extremely frail and fragile but the carers went above and beyond to get him out of bed, into a wheelchair and then into the lounge where he was able to enjoy a chat and a Bailey's no less. Heartfelt thanks to Phil and the team.

My husband was cared for over a period of 3 years. At all times his care was excellent - he was treated with kindness and with dignity. Over the final days of his life, the care was exceptional. This care also extended to his family who were looked after incredibly well - nothing was too much trouble for the staff. It was like being part of a big family. Not just a home - a caring home!

Sadly my mom passed away on 28/8/25 with her family around her and supported by the staff. Thank you all for your kindness.

All Staff are fantastic and work hard, they made mom's last few months with them a pleasure with all the care and support they gave not just to mom but to us all as a family. They took away all the worry that we had about mom going in to a home for the final part of her journey in life. I can't thank them enough for all they did, if anyone was to ask me about looking for a home for their family member I would highly recommend them.

My son was discharged from hospital to this home after breaking both hips and having lung problems. Although only 45 years old he has fitted in well with this temporary home and the patient staff have really spoilt him.
