When Mum was looking for somewhere to stay as she decided that she could no longer cope at home, we had no problems in coming to look around at the home and all of its facilities.

Mum has settled in very well, and everyone has been very welcoming.

I received excellent care and accommodation for two weeks following spinal decompression surgery. The home is warm and spotlessly clean. The staff are caring, efficient and friendly and the food is plentiful, varied and very good. I got the impression that this care home is very well run, as I felt comfortable and secure during my stay.

We were so very pleased to receive a warm, friendly welcome when we visited our friend today. The senior activity coordinator and senior housekeeper was cheerful and positive throughout and the home clean and tidy. The care our friend was and is receiving is second to none and we were unexpectedly treated to coffee and biscuits before we left.

From the first telephone enquiry, the manager's professional guidance and advice gave us reassurance and comfort. All questions have been dealt with thoroughly. Nothing is too much trouble. The initial visit was taken by my daughter and son-in-law who were given an extensive tour and able to ask questions. They came away with a great community feel - it was warm and friendly and they felt it would be a happy home for their grandmother. We have nothing but praise for the staff and the high-quality care and attention to detail given.

I was made very welcome by staff members. My room maid was exceptional in her thorough cleansing of my room.
The care ladies were all very caring and helpful.
The Senior Housekeeper is outstanding in everything she is involved with.
Nothing is too much trouble and goes out of her way to assist.

Lack of bath/shower facilities - room 10.

My dad has been in the nursing home section of this care home since October 2019; as a former nurse, I can see that the nursing care he receives is of a very high standard. Staff are caring and understanding of my dad's needs and always do their very best to help.

I highly recommend this home.

It's a pity that the new manager has chosen to ignore us on our only two visits in two years. Having made complaints in October these were ignored and it appeared that there are sufficient staff, bearing in mind the phones are never answered when I ring two to three times a week. Generally, it appears the home does not reach the high standards that we set before Covid.
