Staff take their role at Leominster very seriously to provide round the clock care to people over the age of 65. The home offers a warm welcome to anyone needing residential and nursing care, with a dedicated care team on hand to offer support for conditions such as Parkinson's.

Close to local amenities the home offers comfortable accommodation within pleasant surroundings. There are lots of places to socialise and relax around the home, including a large open lounge and two cosier spaces filled with comfy armchairs and tall windows.

Over the last 2 or so months Mum's health has gone down a lot. The staff are trying everything they can to make her comfortable and as pain-free as possible. They constantly try to reassure her as she is rather distressed. The staff are also very kind to me. My brother and I are very pleased that Mum
is living here. I just worry her money will run out.

My mother was a resident at the Leominster Care Home from July - October 2019. During this time, all the staff were of the highest professional standards. They helped make Mum's last days as comfortable as possible, always acting with care and compassion. The home is a wonderful place - all the staff
from the manager down work as a family to care for their patients. I would not hesitate to recommend this home.

I came here to help my recovery from having a new hip joint after a very bad fall. I received a very warm welcome on arrival, offered food and drink which was much appreciated. The staff are kind and caring, nothing is too much effort. I have been supported and encouraged all the way. I would be happy
to recommend this place to anybody. Excellent food, well presented.

Both parents were cared for in this care home. My father was admitted first, deemed to be end of life. However, with the dedicated nursing care he received, he recovered sufficiently to live another 18 months. My mother was admitted following a fall in another home resulting in a fracture and hospital
stay. Sadly her mental health declined, but again, she received excellent patient nursing care. All staff, nursing, admin and care staff were friendly and professional. All led by a strong manager.

This was my second visit this year, whilst it was only for respite during my daughter's holiday. I found the staff as careful of my well-being as ever. It was just like being on holiday, lovely room, nice meals and plenty of care and attention.

When my father was transferred to Leominster Bupa home, he looked on death's door. He was practically comatose. Unfortunately, my wife and I had booked a holiday of a lifetime to celebrate her retirement and fully expected him to have passed away before our return. We returned to find him 'perky' and
his old self. The fact he survived for another 18 months is a testament to the quality of his care.

This care provider is very good, friendly staff, excellent food with plenty of choice. Facilities are excellent and there are always plenty of activities to join in with. The rooms are satisfactory but a bit on the small size, but this would be my only criticism. Overall it is a very good care home
and I would recommend it to friends and family.

Both of my parents lived at the Bupa Home in Leominster for the last 12 months of their lives after they had both been unable to continue living independently. The standard of care was always excellent and when both mum and dad were at the end of life, we were able to avoid hospitalisation so that they
could both pass away peacefully in familiar surroundings with the people they knew. The staff were always caring and dedicated and there was always a cheerful atmosphere at the home.
I could not fault the service provided and would not hesitate to recommend Bupa at Leominster to anyone who needed nursing or residential care.

Very good care throughout the time my father was a resident. Support for the family in the last stages of fathers' life was excellent and allowed Father to die at the home and not in a hospital.

It has the essentials to enable people to live a comfortable life whether they are old and frail or suffering from physical defects.
We have good food, one's clothes are washed and ironed frequently and entertainment is provided. One's room is pleasant with a TV and adequate furniture and a bathroom.
Whether
the weather is hot or wet or cold outside, the temperature here is just right. People are happy here due, in fact, to the help given by the carers all with a smile.

We were impressed with all aspects of the care of my father. He was treated with dignity and consideration and we were always consulted if there were any issues presented. The care home was very well run and the administration a very high standard. One aspect which presented itself was that of specialist
care for what I am sure is an increasing issue of our age, when mental health and dementia care specialist nurses would have been very valuable.

We have been extremely pleased with all the care and support given to my father and for us as a family. My father lived at the home for nearly 3 years and in that time he has had tremendous care from all the staff. Their professional manner was exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were kept

My observations make me compare this home to a four-star hotel, linen tablecloths, very friendly staff, a lovely atmosphere. Rooms and lounges are bright and cheerful.
An open reception area contributes to the general feeling of welcome.

I enjoy working here as there's a different job every day and I like to make the residents' lives that little bit happier. I have been a gardener most of my life and I also enjoy resolving problems and maintenance issues.


I live within walking distance of the home with my daughter and partner. My spare time is spent with my daughter and walking my two dogs. I love gardening and drawing.
