Grosvenor House

A lovely nursing home - all the staff are very caring and helpful. We were so lucky there was a beautiful room free for my sister-in-law. Thank you, everyone.

Thank you so much for the excellent care and support you showed to our father and to us as a family. We were always greeted with a smile and regularly updated on our father's health and well-being. He was quite poorly when he arrived at Grosvenor House, as he had been recovering from a recent fall - and our experience was a positive and helpful one. The staff were all very pleasant and swift to attend if we needed help or care for Dad - the kitchen staff were very accommodating with his dietary needs too.

Excellent staff. All have worked really hard to get Mum out of bed and into the lounge, which has been a real challenge considering her needs.

I could not wish for my sister to be looked after in a better environment. On all of my visits staff have always shown a caring approach and have done everything to make my sister comfortable, I have nothing but complete admiration for their dedication on a personal note. I have found all staff to be both friendly and sympathetic.

I can't thank the staff enough for the care they gave Dad. The care is first-class. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. My husband has already booked my bed!

My husband has been at the home for over two years. I've never had any faults with the care and the carers, he is always clean and well-shaven. I know he is well cared for and as his wife, it means a lot.

A magnificent house in pleasant green surroundings. After several visits, my question is 'Would I be happy to live here myself?'. The answer is a resounding yes!

My experience has been satisfactory. No reason to complain and if the circumstances should arise, I would be quite happy to stay there.

My partner had been at Grosvenor House for just under a year but sadly passed away at Easter. As a person who was always active, he didn't understand why he was there needing care. From my point of view, he was well looked after, always clean and well presented and as happy as he could be under the circumstances. Everyone, including the non-care staff, are very friendly and do the very best for the residents.

My husband was beautifully looked after and the staff were always kind and helpful. A very sad and stressful time was made as good as it could be. Thank you.

Everybody has been truly excellent. They have been kind, patient and respectful. At all times they have been very accommodating regarding visiting. Dad had a number of different physical conditions and must have been very demanding but the staff have been brilliant and it has been of great comfort to us that he came to Grosvenor House. A big thank you to everybody.

Dad's care has been excellent from the first day he arrived at Grosvenor House until he sadly died. The staff have shown so much compassion to both Dad and ourselves. We spent the whole night with dad before he died and the staff looked after us with coffee/tea and biscuits. I just can't praise Grosvenor House highly enough. Thank you for everything.

We had an emergency crisis with my 95-year-old father. I called and spoke with the admin and she was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. They accepted my father at a moment's notice and really did take great care of him. The food was first-class and the entertainment coordinator and the nursing staff were just brilliant. He looked ten years younger when they had finished with him. I feel sure I'll be calling on their services again! Great job!

The care my mother received at Grosvenor House was fantastic. The team are lovely and they gave my mother her dignity in very difficult circumstances. I have no hesitation in recommending Grosvenor House to anyone looking for care.

My mother was a resident at Grosvenor House from the end of December 2021 until she sadly passed away on Friday 18th March 2022. The staff were always very welcoming and extremely helpful and looked after my mom so well during her time with them. She was 92-years-old and I know she couldn't have been the easiest patient to deal with as she was so devastated at the loss of her independence which she valued so much but everyone was so patient and caring in their approach. I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank all of the staff for making her last few weeks so comfortable and I would recommend this care home to everyone who is looking for similar care in this area.
