My mother has been a resident for just over a year. She has slowly adapted to living in care - although she kept hoping she could return home. The staff are wonderful - very kind & caring - patient and always on hand. My mother recently slept till late morning - but her request for porridge was quickly provided! The room is smaller than in other homes - which is a pity. The en-suite is perfectly adequate. I am kept updated with ongoing & new health issues & GP is contacted prn.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our home , Your feedback will be shared with team
Went to visit this lovely lady, she had just come out of hospital after a fall in her room. Blood was still on the chair, the bins were overflowing in the bathroom and bedroom, dead flowers still in the vase. But more importantly when she fell her family were not informed. They did not know she was in hospital until some visitor called them to ask what hospital she was in. This is appalling, her family should be the first to be informed.
Please be assured that we have taken this experience very seriously. We have carried out a full...
Medical care is faultless with communication to us being well framed. Doctors carry out weekly rounds and are available for consultations.
The surroundings and the gardens are kept well and used for entertaining and activates and families can visit and join in too. Placing our parents in this care home has been the best decision we could have made for their ongoing quality of life and keeping together in their latter years.

Staff always friendly and cheerful. Allow Poppy (dog) to visit and always welcome her. Thank you for caring for Joan so well. I'm a long standing friend.

Thank you for your lovely review, we are so happy that your mum settled so quickly with us.
My mom has been in the home for nearly 3 years now, and I still find everything very satisfactory. Mom is always smiling when I visit and seems very comfortable and content. The staff are all amazing, very friendly and helpful, as well as being incredibly understanding and caring over how difficult it can be at times, which is very much appreciated by myself. Thank you.
Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear you are very satisfied with the care your Mum receives from our friendly staff at Heathbrook House.
My mom has been a resident at Heathbrook since July 2024. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful to me and my mom. The nursing care is excellent, and I'm very impressed with the communication from all staff, care assistants, nurses and the attached GP surgery staff. All of the house keeping staff and kitchen staff are also very friendly and go out of their way to make sure all of my mom's needs are met. They have created a lovely family feel atmosphere at Heathbrook House.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home, we are really pleased that you are happy with the service we provide.

Thank you so much for your valuable review , I will share your feedback with our wonderful team !
My mother in law began her stay at Heatbrook House in July 2025. We attended Heathbrook House a few days before Mom moved in and knew withun a few minutes it was clear this was by far the best residential home we had visited. The friendly, caring nature of the team shone throughout the building. We were shown round the home and spoken to with respect, and a very understanding and caring approach. I can only praise the team as they all cared for Mom in the most personal way I have ever seen. This includes the management team, Nursing Team, all carers, the kitchen team, house keepers maintenance team and reception staff. The care here is second to none. Mom unfortunately passed away at the end of November, but everyone there made her last months a brilliant time, full of care and laughter. They made Mom(and my wife and myself part of the Heathbrook family. I have to thank the team for how they cared for Mom, making her comfortable, feel safe and loved by the all whilst she was there.
Thank you for your kind words. Our staff members go above and beyond to make sure that every resident is well cared for and looked-after, we are pleased to hear that this shone through in your experience. We want our home to feel like a community, and it's great to hear that you have felt a part of it. We're so sorry to hear of your loss, and our thoughts are with you and your family at this time.
During the latter stage of mom's life we could not have asked for any better, care, love & support shown by the staff & Management Team for mom.
From the Senior Nurse down through all the roles the Team all reacted immediately to mom's needs & requests to ensure she remained as comfortable as possible & pain free during what was a very difficult & sensitive time for both mom & us as a family.
The respect & dedication they all shown to mom was second to none & this continued to be displayed right through until mom was taken from Heathbrook to rest at the Chapel.
We can't thank the Team at Heathbrook enough Xx
We appreciate you taking the time to write this during what must be a very difficult time. It is very reassuring to hear that our care has brought you and your family peace of mind. Feedback like yours inspires us to continue to provide the very best care. We are saddened to hear about your loss...
What a lovely home! The building still looks very new and clean. All rooms seem to look outside at the rest and the grounds. The home is set on the edge of the countryside but is also on a bus route from Bromsgrove.
Staff are key to the feel of this home and they are truly exceptional. Very caring and responsive. I feel I can relax for the first time for many years in the knowledge that my mother is in a safe environment and that she has her medication on time and her meals are balanced and timely.
Heathfield House caters for mums spiritual needs and her mental and physical needs.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback , At Heathbrook House we take great pride in the care we deliver and each of us are motivated to ensure our residents have the best possible experience , I will share your comments with the team who will be delighted to hear your feedback
Brenda has settled in really well and has a lovely room with everything she needs provided. Despite the sad circumstances Brenda is a very difficult patient, she is cared for very well and all of her needs have been met with compassion, gentleness and patience. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and have a lovely conservatory for family to relax and spend precious time together. Refreshments are provided as well as snacks which is a lovely touch.
Thank you for taking the time to review Heathbrook House , we are delighted to hear that you are happy with the care provided and pleased to see you utilising the communal areas which we have created for the exact purpose of spending precious time together and making memories. I will pass on your valuable feedback to the team , once again Thank you !
P.S hope you do not mind my auntie will not eat carrots or any meal with carrots on. This is not a complaint just wanted to let you know.
Thank you for your feedback. We are very glad to hear that your Aunt is happy in our care. We will certainly pass your comments on to our management team regarding your Aunt's dislike of carrots with her meals.
From the moment Mom came to Heathbrook House in March 2025 she was settled and felt safe she has a lovely room and the staff are so helpful & caring. They couldn't look after Mom any better. Thank you to everyone at Heathbrook House.
Thank you for your kind words. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your Mum in our care. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make Mum's stay as comfortable as possible.
Heath brook looks and smells clean both on entering reception and onto the units.
All of the staff from management to housekeeping are friendly and always saying hello or offering hot drinks, and remembering are names or the names of my mom's grandchildren so they can talk to my mom about them later which always brings a smile to her face, in addition to making us feel welcome at any time.
If there are concerns with mom's health the nursing time will call us or if the GP needs to consult with us they will also call us which gives us a peace of mind that she is being taken care.
Thank you for your kind review. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your Mom in our care and we are pleased to hear that your Mom has settled in well. It is lovely to hear that your Mom is receiving such high standards of care and support during her stay at Heathbrook House Care...
I regularly visit Heathbrook House to visit my grandmother. I can't fault any member of the care team. They are all efficient, approachable, caring and hands on with all the residents. They genuinely make it feel like a home for all in their care, and are always so polite and welcoming whenever I visit. It's such a lovely place to go to and so reassuring knowing my grandmother is in such capable and caring hands.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your Grandmother in our care. It is always nice to hear words like "Efficient" and "Approachable" being used to describe our Staff. We hope to continue providing your Grandmother with the best possible care. We will certainly pass your comments on to the manager.
I went to my friend in her room and she was surprised to see me there but was so glad I came to visit , she told me all about her new home and how she's settled in really well.
The home is lovely and my friend showed me around the lounge and where she has her meals.
One lovely lady asked us if we were ok and if we would like to have a coffee in the conservatory. We went to the conservatory and it's such a lovely space and nice environment to have a catch up.
My friend said she had doubts moving into a care home but she's happy and content here and it's wonderful to see her like this. Thankyou to all that look after her so well, she spoke very highly of you all.
Thank you for your kind words. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your Friend in our care. We hope to continue providing your Friend with the best possible care.
The staff and management are so welcoming and go the extra mile to help the residents the best they can providing care in a person centred way with all resident especially my family I have no complaints only compliments for the home it's well looked after and everything always looks so fresh.
Thank you for your kind words. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your loved one In our care. We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care.
Overall the home has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. I noticed how fresh and clean the home smelt when we first arrived. The staff are very friendly and kind and treat mum with respect, she can be very difficult. She is often led on her back staring at the ceiling, she is completely immobile. Sometimes her food is hard for her to eat, very crumbly toast depending which shift is on. She likes music or TV in the background, not nothing!
Thank you for providing your feedback. We are pleased to hear words such as "friendly" and "kind" being used to describe our staff. Our resident's health and wellbeing are paramount to us, so we will discuss your feedback with the home's manager to help them continually improve their service.

Meet the Team (8)

I have over 23 years’ experience in health and social care, having begun my career as a Care Assistant and progressing through to my first Home Manager role in 2013. Throughout this journey, I have developed a strong and unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality care.
My passion lies in ensuring that every interaction truly matters. I am dedicated to maintaining the highest standards, with a focus on person-centred care that values each individual. I understand that the transition into care can be challenging, and I strive to make this journey as smooth and supportive as possible—not only for residents but also for their families and loved ones.
At Heathbrook House, we take pride in seeing the person, not the condition. We are committed to creating a warm, supportive environment where residents feel valued, empowered, and able to embrace this stage as a new and meaningful chapter in their lives.

I have worked with Bupa for over 12 years and gain immense job satisfaction from making a positive difference to both the residents and the teams I support.
After serving in the Army for many years, I made the decision to pursue a new path and began my career in health and social care as a Carer. Since then, I have progressed to the role of Resident Experience Manager, and in 2023, I was proud to take on the position of Deputy Manager at Heathbrook House.
I am approachable and always happy to help, so please feel free to reach out with any questions about life at Heathbrook House or the care we provide. I would be delighted to support you in any way I can.

My name is Rachael, and I am the Clinical Lead at Heathbrook House. I began my nursing career after taking a weekend job in a nursing home, where I quickly realised my passion for helping people, particularly in supporting and caring for the elderly.
My journey with Heathbrook House began while covering shifts through an agency, and I was delighted to later join the team on a full-time basis. Since 2025, I have been proud to serve as Clinical Lead, a role that allows me to support both our residents and our dedicated team.
I am immensely proud of the commitment and hard work demonstrated by the team in delivering the best possible clinical outcomes for those in our care. We are an engaged and motivated team, always eager to learn and continually improve our practice.
We are always available to meet with you, whether to discuss any concerns, answer questions, or hear your ideas. Supporting our residents and their families is at the heart of everything we do.

My name is Abby, and I began my journey at Heathbrook House in 2021 after returning to work following the birth of my twin boys. I previously had a background in hospitality, but I was looking for a more fulfilling career, as leaving my boys was a significant and important decision for me.
I started as a Care Assistant, progressed to Senior Carer, and was later proud to be successful in securing the role of Non-Clinical Unit Manager. My role focuses strongly on the quality of care provided, from completing quality audits to carrying out care reviews. I am also passionate about supporting and developing the care team to ensure that our residents receive the highest standard of care every single day.
I believe in a whole-team approach to development and recognise the importance of listening, embracing new ideas, and putting them into practice. Celebrating successes and learning together is key to continuous improvement.
I am wholeheartedly committed to creating a vibrant and collaborative environment at Heathbrook House, and I truly enjoy the fact that every day brings something new.

My name is Nicola, and I am the Financial Administrator at Heathbrook House. I play a key role in supporting both residents and their relatives, and I am often the first point of contact when you get in touch with us. I take great pride in ensuring that every enquiry is handled smoothly and positively from the very beginning.
I have a strong background in accountancy; however, I was seeking a more fulfilling role that allowed me to work closely with people. After spending time delivering care in the community, I discovered a passion for combining my financial skills with meaningful interaction. This led me to my role here at Heathbrook House.
Over time, I have been fortunate to develop my position into much more than a traditional financial role. I truly value the relationships I build and love spending time with residents, staff, and family members. I am extremely proud to be part of the Heathbrook House family and to contribute to creating a warm, supportive environment for everyone.

My name is Donna, and I am the Receptionist here at Heathbrook House. I joined the team in 2016 following a recommendation from family, and it has been a wonderful place to work ever since.
My role involves maintaining the front of house, meeting and greeting all visitors, and acting as the first point of contact for enquiries. I take great pride in creating a warm and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors.I thoroughly enjoy my role, particularly the opportunity to meet and interact with new people. I am always keen to learn new skills and continue developing my existing ones. I am also actively involved in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, which I find incredibly rewarding.
I pride myself on being adaptable, approachable, and always willing to help and support others in any way I can.

I joined Heathbrook House as an Assistant Chef in August 2024 and was delighted to quickly progress into the role of Chef Manager. Food has always been my passion, and I take great pride in creating delicious, nutritious meals each day that meet the needs of our residents.
Last year, I was shortlisted to take part in the Great Bupa Menu competition and reached the final stages. This was a fantastic opportunity to showcase my skills to a wider audience, and I was especially proud of how well my vegan menu was received.I am committed and dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for our residents, with a particular strength in developing and delivering modified diets. I am always keen to try new ideas and continuously improve, and I greatly value feedback on the meals that my team and I provide.

My name is Sophia, and I am the Senior Activities Coordinator at Heathbrook House. My team and I are committed to providing a wide range of activities that are adaptable to all abilities, ensuring equal access to meaningful engagement for every resident.
We take the time to get to know each individual, exploring their life history, personal preferences, and interests, as well as their likes and dislikes. This enables us to create personalised and meaningful experiences that truly enhance their well-being.
I have also played a significant role in enhancing the care home environment by creating purposeful and inviting spaces that offer alternatives to the traditional care home lounge. Residents can entertain visitors in our bistro-style conservatory or enjoy special moments with loved ones in our private dining room.
Additionally, we have an outdoor café that is particularly popular during the warmer, drier days. Our residents have recently been involved in creating a beautiful outdoor garden space. By tapping into their skills and experiences, this project has become a resounding success and a wonderful talking point within the home.
I facilitate a resident-led committee that plays a key role in shaping our activity programme. This ensures that the individuals living here are truly at the heart of everything we do, influencing both the activities we deliver and the overall experiences we provide.
