My mother has been a resident at Oldbury for approx. 3 years as a resident with Alzheimer's disease. Obviously we were very concerned when we had no choice but to support the view that she needed full time nursing care. Oldbury have enabled mum to rest in a supportive and caring environment. Considering
her care is now considered complex and requiring full time consideration, she is very comfortable and supported with her meals, drinks, personal care etc. in a manner that reflects duty of care and associated values vital to ensuring the well being of mum's health and care needs.

My mom is having respite care here while she is waiting for a social services assessment ,
My mom says the food is very nice ,and she has settled in very quickly ,which is a relief for the family.
My mom has also told me that she is being very well cared for,at this nursing home.

My father in law has been at Oldbury for around 7 months now. Watching his health and overall spark improve has been amazing and that's down to Oldbury. All the staff are friendly and approachable and make us feel welcomed and comfortable when we visit. Sometimes I visit straight from finishing work
and the staff always offer me drinks and a bite to eat which shows how family orientated the home is. No complaints at all, would recommend Oldbury to everyone I speak to.

There is no better. After preparing for the day my mother could not manage, for a few years, we researched many different care homes but only one shone out as a clear winner. Our research had paid off. My mother is totally contented as are we. The peace of mind for us in having her with people who genuinely
do care and in system where the management is exceptional and all of the staff seem to be able to contribute 100% of what is needed to care for the elderly who cannot care for themselves at all times. This is quite an exceptional ability.

Where do I start :)
We have recently had to accept that after a stroke our lovely dad needed to go into a care home.
The journey started by looking around a few homes in our local area.
We had a lot of criteria & knew that by doing our research & visiting different homes, we woulld know where we
would like him to live.
Oldbury Grange understood our feelings, reassured us & answered our many questions openly & honestly.
The decision was made & as a family we are not disappointed.
Dad is well looked after & has settled in really well. Not only do they look after Dad they respect him , something very important to us.
We are able to visit when we want to & Mum who visits every day is looked after as well. Together they enjoy the many activities on offer, enabling Mum to still be an integral part of Dad's day.

Atmosphere in the home is friendly and relaxed, it runs smoothly and is clearly well managed. Lots of activities are available, catering for a wide range of interests. It's staff are its best asset- everyone working there will go out of their way to be of help if needed and always with a smile and genuinely
caring about the residents, visiting and other staff. I have visited relatives in other nursing homes in recent years and think Oldbury Grange is by far the best I've seen, it is a lovely nursing home.

I am passionate about the quality-of-life experience for each and every resident. My mission is to ensure that Oldbury Grange is a vibrant and enjoyable place in which to live and be cared for. I aim to support and develop the team at Oldbury Grange and help them to reach their goals and provide residents with the best quality care.


I have enjoyed working in the healthcare sector for nine years, starting as a registered nurse in a complex care setting and also working with people living with Dementia, mental health conditions and in palliative care.


In my various roles as a registered nurse, unit manager, clinical project manager and also in compliance roles, I have gained several qualifications along the way, including Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
