My mother is extremely contented at Oldbury Grange. She has a good relationship with the staff and is extremely grateful for all their help and care. she remains mentally alert, in part, I believe due to the conversations and interactions that she has with the staff. Having just met the new manager,
it is clear to see mother really likes her and I am hopeful that my mother will continue to enjoy her final years at Oldbury.

My mother had relapsed overnight, so we were contacted. The required medication was not available, and the staff spent all afternoon trying to locate it. We were able to stay overnight as we live a distance away, and we could not have been treated better. Several of the staff are truly excellent in
their care for both the residents and family. At all times, we were kept informed of the situation and truly felt included and considered,

My cousin has always been looked after with love and care. Every member of staff is kind and thoughtful, and they all have a genuine affection for her. My cousin is bedridden but has been hoisted into her special chair and taken to the lounge to be part of events that are taking place.

My mother was admitted for end-of-life care and stayed for approximately a week. I have nothing but praise for the care she received. Everybody was compassionate and kind, both to her and to myself and other family members. Nothing was too much for them. This was a very difficult time, but I am so grateful
to all the staff for their wonderful work.

My father was in an upstairs flat. As he became older, we supplied help and meals. We decided to encourage Dad to try the Oldbury Grange. He knew several people there, so there was no problem settling Dad in his new home. The house is really nice, and the staff are super. They are very welcoming to
family members, and our father likes them all. The little sip of wine with his dinner was a winner!

When my 98-year-old mother, with dementia, suffered several mini stoked during the Covid lockdown, the manager at Oldbury Grange took control, organised a room and dealt with all of the agencies involved. The staff at Oldbury are fully engaged in their roles and offer care, affection and dignity to
their residents from the always cheerful reception to the nursing, care and support staff; everyone is smiling and laughing. All my fears for my mother's well-being have faded away. Thank you.

My wife has advanced vascular dementia and Alzheimer's. Since being cared for by Oldbury Grange, I have seen a marked improvement in her general wellbeing and happiness. I attribute this mainly to the home's benign environment created by the excellent management team and conscientious and caring staff.

My mother was transferred to Oldbury Grange from hospital in order to recover from Covid-19 in their designated quarantine area. She stayed for 4 weeks before returning home. I am very happy with the care she received from all of the nursing team. I phoned every day to enquire about my mother's condition
and it was always possible to receive a thorough update and to talk to my mother. I do not know what the future holds for my mother but if it becomes necessary to transfer her permanently to a care home, I would certainly consider Oldbury Grange very favourably. Please note that I cannot answer all of the multiple-choice questions as I did not see inside the building myself.

Our mother had a fall 2 weeks before Christmas and we were desperate to get our mum some respite care, as she was living on her own. We rang Oldbury Grange and straight away, we were put at ease by the home manager, telling us they had a room available. From the moment we dropped our mum off, the care
and friendly faces were very reassuring. Our mum, in total, had 5 weeks care. Our main concern was that everyone was kind to her and that she was treated well. We cannot express enough, how well she was treated and looked after by everyone. Our mum is home now and is constantly talking about this beautiful care home, telling us how fantastic everyone was and how caring you all were. She also likes to tell us how lovely the food was, and that you could eat as much as you like. We wanted to say a big thank you to you all and if anyone is considering Oldbury Grange for a care home for a loved one, this is the place. We will never forget the love and care you gave to our mum.

Care is compassionate, friendly and specifically relevant to individual cases. Nursing care is of the highest quality and sensible use is made of outside agencies when appropriate. Any difficulties arising are notified to relatives without delay and difficulties are not allowed to become catastrophes.
The overall impression is that for both staff and residents, smiles are mandatory.

The telephone review went well with the manager and assistant. I was brought up to date with my mother's medical condition and needs. My mother is happy with all aspects of the home. COVID-19 issues were discussed, but we are happy that the home has addressed the issues with this virus very competently.
I am very happy with the overall way my mother is cared for.

They say 'don't judge a book by its cover; but on this occasion, it's fine to do so! Not only is Oldbury Grange beautiful on the outside, but it is also wonderful on the inside too. The staff here should be awarded the '5-star' rating because they make this home a very special place. I arrived with
my mother full of tears and trepidation, but now I arrive with smiles, in the knowledge that my mother is well cared for.

When my parents transferred to Oldbury Grange all went well. Suitable rooms were found and managers and staff made them very welcome. The nursing and care staff work hard to ensure needs are met. Any concerns I might have are sorted and I am kept informed. En-suite bedrooms are well-appointed and are
always clean. There are good social activities. Oldbury Grange is a pleasant environment for all residents with a friendly welcoming atmosphere.

Mum has advanced vascular dementia and Alzheimer's. She is very confused and gets frustrated and anxious which means she can be aggressive. Staff at Oldbury Grange are so patient, kind and understanding of Mum's needs. I am totally confident in the care my Mum receives.

I am passionate about the quality-of-life experience for each and every resident. My mission is to ensure that Oldbury Grange is a vibrant and enjoyable place in which to live and be cared for. I aim to support and develop the team at Oldbury Grange and help them to reach their goals and provide residents with the best quality care.


I have enjoyed working in the healthcare sector for nine years, starting as a registered nurse in a complex care setting and also working with people living with Dementia, mental health conditions and in palliative care.


In my various roles as a registered nurse, unit manager, clinical project manager and also in compliance roles, I have gained several qualifications along the way, including Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
