My wife was moved to this home followed a hospital stay after a fall at the previous home she was in. The difference is worlds apart. The whole setting is stunning, the staff are professional, kind and can't do enough for you. I helped them out with their bonfire night by sharing my grey peas and bacon
recipe! The manager is a fantastic manager, who has a genuine passion to keep everyone happy and often treats all of the staff to pizza or cakes to show her gratitude for their hard work. My wife is at end of life stage and she is kept comfortable and I know she is well cared for. I have recommended Oldbury Grange to my neighbour who is thinking of moving his mother in law to another home. 5 stars from our family. Thank you to all of the staff for looking after my wife.

Since my mother in law moved into Oldbury Grange, it's only now that we know what a good care/nursing home is. At first, we thought where she was was good, but with her needs increasing and we chose for her to be moved to Oldbury Grange we found out that they really are poles apart. All staff have got
so much care and compassion, and I truly mean all staff. In all honesty I don't believe that you will find anywhere better.

As a family we cannot fault Oldbury Grange Nursing home in any way. My mother broke her hip in March 2024 and in late June we realised that she needed more care than she was getting at home. We were shown around Oldbury Grange by one staff member in particular who could not have been more helpful, providing
us with all the information we needed. My mum was welcomed to the home in late June and was treated with great respect and kindness. The staff could not have been more attentive and professional. The meals were varied and delicious. The entertainment staff are enthusiastic and innovative and really enjoy what they do. My mum so enjoyed the summer fair held in August and I will treasure the photos I took of her on that day. The manager is hands on and gets to know the residents very quickly. She seems to have so much time for everyone. My mum passed away at the beginning of September as she approached her 94th birthday. We were so grateful that she spent her last few months at Oldbury Grange.

Having been a carer within a care home myself for over 20 years and seeing first-hand how residents were treated, I was extremely reluctant to consider placing my husband in a residential home. It was a very difficult decision and one which I have struggled with.
I was offered Oldbury Grange and I
haven't looked back since. It has completely altered my views and restored my faith in the care system.
My husband can be somewhat tricky and extremely stubborn but has settled in very well. This has come from the fantastic care shown by the dedicated and hardworking staff.
They go above and beyond. Enriching every day with fun activities, parties, and afternoon tea to name a few and providing a happy and stimulating environment for my husband.
The care my husband requires involves patience, empathy and understanding as he has Alzheimer's, rectum and skin cancer. The staff are nothing short of amazing, I couldn't have done this very emotional journey without their help and support.
A special mention to a wonderful manager who came to my rescue along with the carers and welcomed my husband into their home at a point where I was beginning to feel unable to cope. Thank you.

Excellent staff in all departments. The manager always listens and has time for everyone. My nan said the food tasted good. I am happy with the care that is provided to my nan. Definitely one of the better care homes.

A lovely, lively place. The people living here are really looked after and catered for. They are encouraged to join in. Lots of activities and loss. Also lots of communication between staff and patients. It seems any excuse for a party! My friend assures me the food is great, especially the cakes. Beautiful

All the staff were magnificent, kind, caring and always smiling. They were outstanding in helping, not only Mam, adjust to being at Oldbury Grange. As relatives, there is always somebody to ask for updates on how Mam is doing. We are completely happy and trust implicitly that she is in the best place

I cannot fault the care given to Mum. I trust all of the staff at Oldbury Grange implicitly, knowing all of Mum's needs are being, not only met, but of the highest standard. Communication between Oldbury Grange and family members is excellent, and we are kept well informed.

We went to the Garden Centre, where we had a lovely time. I used my wheelchair as my husband and another resident had a carer pushing them in their wheelchairs. It was really good going round the garden centre and then went for a light lunch in the restaurant. We made our way back to the mini-bus and
back to the care home. All had enjoyed our time. We had a leisurely afternoon with a cup of tea and a slice of cake. Perfect.

My grandad is currently in Oldbury Grange. The care he has received has been amazing. Everyone is very attentive and nothing seems to be too much trouble. He gets confused easily and makes calls home worried, which when we call the home to check on him (in his room) they calm him down, and attend to
him straight away! Very impressed!

My dad has been in care since January 2024 and I cannot fault the level of care he has received here at Oldbury Grange.
The staff are all amazing, so kind and caring and genuinely do all that they can do to make the residents happy and content.
The food is of a very high standard and my dad always
praises the catering staff. The entertainment team are also great with lots of different activities to keep the residents busy and mentally stimulated. Overall a wonderful home.

My mother has been a resident for 12 months now and her overall health and welfare have improved considerably by being here. The staff are excellent showing empathy and care and treating my mother with dignity. Her room is well-appointed and generally clean. Laundry is not always returned to the correct
resident. All concerns are always responded to and acted on very happy that she is well cared for.

Mum has previously been in another care home prior to Oldbury. The management and staff are friendly and helpful, and treat Mum with love and respect and visitors. The food is very good, plenty of choice, and activities for everyone to take part in. Well done Oldbury.

I am passionate about the quality-of-life experience for each and every resident. My mission is to ensure that Oldbury Grange is a vibrant and enjoyable place in which to live and be cared for. I aim to support and develop the team at Oldbury Grange and help them to reach their goals and provide residents with the best quality care.


I have enjoyed working in the healthcare sector for nine years, starting as a registered nurse in a complex care setting and also working with people living with Dementia, mental health conditions and in palliative care.


In my various roles as a registered nurse, unit manager, clinical project manager and also in compliance roles, I have gained several qualifications along the way, including Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
