My mum was a resident at Brindley Court for almost 12-months before she passed away. The care mum received was outstanding, especially in the last few weeks of her life. She was treated with dignity and compassion at all times. That care extended to all her family and we were always welcomed and supported.
The ethos of the home was very much family orientated, and we were all very much part of the Brindley Court family. With the support of the care team, Mum remained at the home with the care she needed until she passed away. Mum was lucky to be able to call Brindley Court her home for 11-months, and we will always be grateful to the staff for everything they did for her and our family. Thank you!

Our Dad was at Brindley Court for 18 months. He was very happy and very well cared for. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the staff and management were extremely helpful and supportive. Sadly my dad passed away on 03/02/20. We will definitely keep in touch and continue to visit not only residents
who have become friends, but also staff and nurses who have become family. Thank you.

Very kind and attentive carers. Clean home, comfortable and homely - good home-cooked food. Lovely rooms. Constantly saw to Dad's needs until the moment he died. They were kind and considerate to us at the end and showed concern for Dad.

Amazing experience. Dad was sadly, only with Brindley Court for the last three weeks of his life. The nursing home is spotlessly clean just like a high quality hotel. The staff are wonderful, not only with their care for the residents but also genuine care of visitors, they were all extremely hospitable
and nothing was too much trouble, always friendly, smiling and with a high standard of professionalism 10/10.

I recently attended the Christmas memorial evening at Brindley Court. My Mum passed away 19/11 after 5 months at the above home. The evening was lovely, with carols sung and poems read, and a bauble hung on the tree. Once again we saw the caring, thoughtful nature of the staff at this home.

My mum was there for 2 to 4 weeks. The staff were incredible. Nothing was too much trouble. We were always welcomed with a smile, updates and a handshake.
My mum was cared for beyond what we expected. Amazing all round.
The home is so clean, so easy to navigate and there was always help on hand if
we needed to ask questions.
Thank you Brindley Court for making mum's final days comfortable and make her feel loved and cared for.

We will be forever grateful for the excellent care and consideration given to Mum in the last 6 months of her life. All the staff are exceptional and she was treated with consideration and dignity throughout. All the family were welcomed and on first name terms. Brindley Court is well run and a clean
bright environment. The food is of good quality and they cater for all needs. We would have no hesitation in recommending Brindley Court for your loved one.

My mum stayed at Brindley Court Care Home for just over three years, she passed away on 1st March 2019 I just wanted to say how well the staff at Brindley Court looked after mum especially the chef who tailored meals for mum as she had only a small/limited amount of food likes. The nursing staff were
also excellent and their prompt action was always appreciated. The management was also very approachable. Excellent place.

My uncle was at Brindley Court for seven months and I could not wish for a better care home. He never wanted for anything, the staff were first class, very caring and professional. His stay was short but I will never forget the staff and their support for my uncle. Absolutely first class. I would recommend
this care home to anyone.

Dad was a resident at Brindley Court for over three years and the care he received during this time was excellent. The staff are a wonderful team with lots of very special individuals. It gave me great comfort to witness them caring for dad and all the residents with dignity and respect. What they did
mattered a lot.

Having moved from residential to care home, the transformation in my Mum is unbelievable. She always looks happy and a sparkle has returned to her eyes. I could not ask for more regarding personal hygiene care, nursing care and food. After a number of years, she, at last, has put weight on. All staff
are extremely caring, approachable and very pleasant. Communication is excellent. I am kept up to date with changes. My family cannot thank the staff enough.

After a fall and a spell in hospital my mum needed some respite care to help build up her strength. My dad had sadly only just passed away so she was also dealing with the loss. From day one the staff at Brindley Court were fantastic. Two months on my mum is stronger and happier in herself and is now
coming home. I cannot thank the staff at Brindley Court enough. I have my mum back, thank you.

Current Review Score: 9.3 (9.265)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.3 (9.265) out of 10 for Brindley Court Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 7 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.4 out of 5 from 7 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.892 for Brindley Court Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (74 Excellents x 5) + (9 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 83 Ratings = 4.892
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.373 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Brindley Court Care Home is based on 7 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.7
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 52 registered maximum number of service users is 10.4. 7 Positive Reviews ÷ 10.4 = 0.673
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
