Each time I have visited over a period of several years, I have always been met by friendly staff. Catering staff too are brilliant, making my day very happy with a Sunday morning biscuit. The whole atmosphere is one of caring, cleanliness and as someone who has worked in this environment, I can only applaud all of them.

My Auntie is very comfortable in this care home and enjoying her time there. This comes as a great relief to the family, as I am sure others in this situation have ambivalent feelings about the need to put their loved ones in a home because of the need to find a good, well run and above all caring home. I can honestly say that this home is indeed excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending it to other families.

A lovely and well set out home, with some excellent facilities and features. The home had a warm, reassuring and safe feeling, while the staff were very friendly and helpful and seemed to care deeply for my friend. I especially liked the music being played throughout the home, which I felt helped prompt a calming environment. A big thank you to everyone who is caring for my friend.

What a relief it is for mum to so be so very well cared for... she is very happy and settled. I have nothing but praise for Cedar Lodge, the manager and care staff are fantastic, they go out of their way to accommodate the particular needs of each resident and make everyone feel so welcome. I visit once or twice a week and family and friends also drop in quite regularly and we all agree on the standard of care which puts my mind at rest. I'm delighted with the quality of food, homemade - I've sampled a few meals!

Overall I'm chuffed that she is happy and participates in the activities, the musical therapy I know she particularly enjoys.

I found all the staff at Cedar Lodge to be very professional, polite and friendly.
Activities - A good and varied selection of activities for all abilities.
Food - I found the food to always be hot and a very good selection even for the fussiest of eaters.

Management - I always found that the manager was on hand when needed. She would answer any questions that I had and put my mind at rest. She is one of the most caring and professional people I have met and is a great asset to the team.

When my grandma became diagnosed with dementia it was very hard and she came to live with us. After 3 years it became difficult and we had to put her in a home. After trying 5 different homes we came upon Cedar Lodge and I couldn't think of a better place for my nan to be. They are so amazing with her and this is the one time I have seen her happy! They are kind, caring and always hugging nan and whenever I arrive there is a smile on her face. Hands down this is the most amazing home out there!

My mum has been a resident of Cedar Lodge for nearly 2 years. She loves the home and carers and receives amazing care. The food and cleanliness of Cedar Lodge is really good. Mum's room is always spotless with her bed always made. The residents are encouraged to participate in activities including craft and music, they also go out on visits to local attractions. All in all very pleased with her care.

I could not have been more fortunate in finding this care home for my mother who has had Alzheimer's for the last 5 years. I find the staff here very friendly, caring and helpful. I call in here at totally random times and always see her being cared for.

The staff are patient and have a brilliant calm way with my mum. Mum;s room is also well looked after and I have never had cause for complaint.

My mother has been in the home for 14 months. The care and support she receives has been excellent from a very dedicated team of people. Her health has deteriorated in this time and Cedar Lodge has the facilities and support to meet these new demands.
The welfare of the patients is put first with attention to basic needs. Lots of stimulating activities are provided to help the patients.

We would recommend Cedar Lodge to anyone who has a relative with dementia.
