The staff at Bentley go above and beyond for all the patients. They are caring and make every day special for their residents. Our mum has dementia and the love, patience and care they show her is second to none and me and my sister can't praise them enough.

It's also evident in the activities and entertainment how they want to create a great environment. Staff outstanding, including all those we don't necessarily see with mum ie: kitchen, cleaning. They're one big team

Bentley care home is a lovely home where all of the staff care for my mum with such love and compassion. The whole staff work tirelessly to support her needs and I could not ask for better. The home provides entertainment every week and run lots of family events. Every time we visit we are warmly welcomed and informed about mum on a personal level. We are so lucky to have her at Bentley as we know she is looked after so well. I would recommend Bentley to anyone who is looking for a place for a relative.

As a family, we have been so welcomed by all the staff at Bentley House (upstairs and down), since Dad arrived with you in December 2025. His progress so far is truly unbelievable and recovery, unimaginable, down to the wonderful care he receives from everyone there. Dad seems truly settled and content in the home, enjoys the endless attention from you all and we couldn't have wished for greater peace of mind on this difficult journey. Thank you personally, for being such a support to us, and thank you to every member of staff who cares so wonderfully for my dad.

Staff always go above and beyond for the residents. Very friendly with everyone and always checking on the residents and visitors. Very clean and organised. It is nice that they bring in entertainment and have special events throughout the week.

I do wish there was easier access to water, and I think a sink should be introduced to the lounge area. On the whole, I would recommend Bentley House for your loved ones in need of extra care

The team keep me updated of mum's needs and medication. We can freely visit and are always made welcome. Just brilliantly 5 out of 5 stars. Thank you so much for looking after mum.

My mother lived at Bentley for over two years and I can't say enough about the wonderful care she received. She had dementia and the staff treated her with such kindness every single day.
The manager, nurses and carers always took the time to understand her needs, kept us informed and made sure she was comfortable and happy. The home itself is warm clean and feels like a real community not just a facility. I always felt confident that she was in safe caring hands.

I'm deeply grateful to everyone at Bentley for the compassion and dignity they showed my mom and family. They truly go above and beyond. Thank you for making a difference at a difficult time.

My mom has Alzheimer's and moved to Bentley just over a month ago. I was worried about moving her because of changing her surroundings but she has settled in extremely well and that is down to the amazing staff, they are all brilliant with her, they go above and beyond to make sure mom is okay. I can't fault them at all from the food to the cleanliness they excel in every area. I can't recommend them enough it was the best decision we have made.

My wife has been in Bentley House having moved from another care home for almost three weeks. The remarkable difference in her appearance, personal hygiene, mental attitude, and general quality of life since she moved to Bentley House makes me and my family so appreciative of the manager, and every one of the staff. The care and the nursing, the time they give and the effort they each put in makes us so thankful that we know that my wife could not be cared for or looked after any better anywhere else. It is uplifting and very touching to see the love that the staff offer her and to see her response when her eyes light up and she smiles I know that she is so grateful and knows she is being cared for by professionals

The building itself is a beautifully period house with very well kept rooms and cleanliness is unquestionable. The surrounding gardens are so well manicured and so pleasant to view. Even the maintenance ad garden workers seem to take so much pride in what they do.

I am extremely thankful for the exceptionally kind and considerate care afforded to my late husband by the staff at Bentley House care home. The wonderful staff treats all residents with care and compassion. Situated in a rural landscape, the grounds are beautiful and very peaceful. The food is exceptional and home cooked. I cannot praise Bentley House Care Home highly enough and want to take this opportunity to thank all of the staff for their wonderful care and support and all they did.

We as a family would like to express our deepest gratitude to the entire team on behalf of the family.
Your kindness, compassion and unwavering dedication meant the world to our family. In a time that can often be difficult and uncertain, you brought comfort, dignity and peace, not just to our loved one but to all of us.
You cared for my husband not only with professionalism but with genuine warmth and humanity. You took the time to truly see him not just as a patient but also as a person, and that made all the difference.
We will never forget your smiles and gentle and the moment of connection you all offered so generously.
Thank you for not being just caregivers, but companions along the way.
Our heartfelt appreciation

My sister moved into Bentley House, initially for respite care, after a fall at her home. She subsequently decided that she is going to stay there on a permanent basis. We live distantly, so our first opportunity to visit her at the home was the weekend 6-8 June 2025. Regularly in touch before our visit, I knew that she thought very highly of everyone who looked after her. When we did visit, we could see why. The home itself is a lovely building, both inside and out, with spectacular grounds, and a patio for the residents to enjoy when the weather is suitable. My sister's room is beautiful, spacious and well equipped - large television, armchairs for visitors, and a spectacular view of the grounds. The lounge areas are very inviting, and the menus we saw looked delicious. I reserve my highest praise for the staff, who so obviously enjoy what they do, and have a genuine bond with the residents. My sister has now even learned to say Good Morning to one of the nurses in Polish!

In my opinion, Bentley House is top of the list in every way.
My sister moved to Bentley House in April of this year. She always said that she would never go into a home, but so many weeks after moving in, she now seems really settled. The nursing care that has been received by my sister has been wonderful and not sure where she would have been if she was still in her own home. I cannot praise all the staff enough. Everything that she has asked for has been provided. I have joined her for lunch on several occasions, and all the food is just wonderful, as is the care shown to myself by all the staff. They really are a truly special team, and have such a dedicated manager, who should be very proud.

Thank you Bentley House.

We have nothing but gratitude for the managers, carers, receptionist, cleaners, activity team and kitchen staff. Both our parents were cared for at Bentley House and they catered for their health needs well. Our parents moved from a home that wasn't far away from Bentley and was closed by CQC. We found Bentley and thank goodness is all we can say. It felt like a family, and the carers genuinely cared and loved what they did. The home was full of life and laughter and this lifted my father especially until we sadly lost him in April 25.

The cleaning staff were incredible and my parents rooms were immaculately clean and tidy. The kitchen staff and quality of food and choice was first class. I have a good understanding of what good care looks like and I would hesitate to recommend. Communication was welcomed at all times. Thank you to all at Bentley for being our guardian angels and caring for our parents for many years. We will miss you!

Mum has been at Bentley since 28th February 2025 and was in a very sorry state when I took her there from hospital, having been at a previous facility for assessment.
I am delighted to say that the transformation in Mum's condition has been nothing short of miraculous!
Bentley House is a shining example of how a care facility should be run - to nurture and care for the residents.
From Reception through to management, everyone is friendly and approachable and they always take the time to listen to any concerns, no matter how busy they are.

Mum is now living the best life that she possibly can and her family and friends are always made very welcome when visiting.

Bentley House cared for both my Mum and Dad for several years when they could no longer manage at home. As this was during Covid I could not visit any carehomes (understandably), but Bentley house were able to help and the move went smoothly. It is a lovely country location, with nice grounds and great views.
The staff were great, very caring and understanding, expecially when my Mum was was ill and died.
Bentley house was able to provide both residential care, and more medical care when needed.

My Dad has now moved, but this is because we moved to a differnet part of the country, we were more than happy with Bentley house, and would not have moved if staying local.

My mum is now in Bentley House , I visited the home before my mum was admitted, I found the home very homely, the manager was very welcoming and made me feel at ease , the staff I noticed were integrating with the residents , talking and smiling .The staff were busy but still welcomed me , I felt very calm , the feeling of the home was warm and caring , my mum is now in her own bedroom , it's cosy and she seems settled , she's eating really well after I spoke with the chef about her dietary needs , she is vegetarian, the chef did a weeks menu with me , so mum would eat her food , she as mixed dementia , the staff in the home have been more than willing to help mum to enable her to settle , all staff I have met have been very caring to mum , we have visited any time we wanted apart from protected meal times , however if it was needed the staff would accommodate relatives to be with their loved one , any questions or concerns I've had have been dealt with accordingly

Mum needed a change to a nursing care setting a year ago after several falls in her previous residential care home. I find it difficult to fault the service from Bentley both in terms of the way in which mum was welcomed into the home and her care since. Bentley have met some challenges with a caring, flexible, cautious and professional approach. Family involvement has been welcomed and we are kept well informed. It's good to know mum is safe.
