The Park Residential and Nursing Home

We have found "The Park" to be a good home for mum. She has received excellent nursing care. The staff are approachable, friendly, and caring.

I visited The Park Residential and Nursing Home on the 30th of April 2021. The purpose of my visit was to see my brother, who I have not seen for over six months. The staff at the home were very efficient and welcoming, testing me for Covid-19 before I was allowed to see my brother. I was very happy with the conditions in the home and in the room in which I met my brother. The appointment time adhered to, and I was able to see my brother for one hour.

Overall, we are extremely happy with the care provided to my mother.

From my first meeting with a member of your staff, I knew that my dad was in safe hands! Everyone I came into contact with was pleasant, accommodating and seemed happy in their work. My dad was nearing the end of life, and I believe his stay was made as comfortable as possible. Thank you for everything you did to make it possible for me and my family to visit him in these difficult times.

Welcoming, friendly. Excellently managed with a committed and motivated team. Very accommodating of individual requirements and needs as well as those of relatives. Nice gardens, food looks good! Suspect staffing levels, especially at night, make for hard work, but never the less, have found The Park to be extremely good and would recommend.

Can't praise The Park Residential and Nursing Home enough. The staff are amazing always there to help. They have been so good during the Covid-19 situation keeping the residents safe and well and also keeping you well informed of what's happening. I can't thank the staff enough for what they do for my mum.

I have an uncle and auntie in care, they are both looked after very well. All the staff are very friendly and caring and they treat them with care and dignity. My aunt went on a couple of day's out and loved them. All the staff do a good job, thanks to you all.

Staff very friendly, everything was clean and the meals very lovely.

Variable depending on which staff are on. Language can be very offensive at times. Activities are pretty non-existent, a bit hit and miss.

I and my family have been very happy at the treatment given to my husband and ourselves. The carers are first class, very patient and polite. The food is very good and always looks tasty. My husband is always dressed well and always shaven etc. The management are helpful and polite. On the whole, a well-run home. Thanks to them all.

Dad had to go into a home as mum couldn't look after him anymore. One is soon to be 83 and one 80. We picked The Park on recommendation from others. It was the best thing we've done Dad is happy, very well looked after in every aspect. Mum is more relaxed too. Excellent all round.

As a friend of a resident, I was very impressed with the care he received.

The caring nature of all staff here makes it homely for residents.

The carers, nurses, kitchen staff, cleaners and laundry workers have also improved with his guidance. The place is cleaner and more welcoming since the alterations he's made.

Now my mum has been in The Park for four months and it was the right decision, she is well looked after and cared for by the lovely staff nothing is too much trouble and we are always made to feel welcome.

Every member of The Park Care Home has our utmost respect and thanks for the superb care of a dear father.

My uncle came to the home in September 2018, he had had an operation which didn't go as expected. He was tube fed and was completely dependent, he didn't talk or move. After a few teething problems he was cared for with dignity and respect.
