My mum is always cared for, always clean and the majority of the time happy. The carers always have a smile and a wave for her and support her needs.

My dad is receiving excellent care at Magna Care Home. He is kept warm, clean and comfortable. The food is a very good standard with a varied menu each day. My dad loves his cooked breakfasts. The staff are all very helpful and kind and treat my dad with the dignity he deserves. Magna Care Home have an excellent activities programme for all residents to join in if they wish. I would not wish for my dad to be anywhere else, he is happy and content. A big thank you to all members of staff and management for everything you do.

Very pleasant environment with extremely friendly staff, who are attentive and caring and always ready to answer any question/enquiries we have. Watching how other residents are treated, gives us confidence that our loved one is in good hands.

My mother has been at Magna Care Home for about a year. I have always found staff friendly and helpful. Mum always looks dressed well and well cared for.

Throughout the recent COVID situation even when we couldn't visit, we were well informed about Mum's wellbeing, always kept up to date with any changes eg: medication. I feel Mum is in the best place she could be.

As a retired NHS Paramedic, I have experienced over my 25 years of service many care homes of all sizes and standards when attending or returning a resident. I chose Magna Care Home for my wife as her husband of 32 years and Attorney because I believe the relationship between residents and staff was one of the best I had witnessed on more than one occasion. Clean rooms and corridors are fine and of course, expected, but too often at some other care homes, some staff treat residents as a nuisance or secondary to staff needs. This is not evident at Magna Care Home. When visiting my wife, I am never disappointed with the warm attention both I and my wife receive.

Having Power of Attorney of my friends Health and Welfare, it was essential I was sure her place of accommodation was the best for all her needs. It has proved all I could have wished for at Magna Care Home. There are interesting displays of kindness on view for all the see, which give reassurance. I get a feeling of a dedicated team together ensuring top-quality care. Care and kindness are given individually and in group surroundings. I am delighted to hear my friend gives her own thanks to carers and is regarded as "a lovely lady". The activities are stimulating, well thought through with evidence of happiness and have a good time. I am very grateful my friend's health has remained stable, which at 92-years, is heartwarming.

I am very please with the care my wife is getting living in this care home. Staff are very happy to take the time to speak to me about what my wife has been doing whilst living there. They also contact me straight away if there are any problems: Doctor or hospital etc. My wife seems very happy living there.

An amazing safe, caring and supportive place for my mum to live in. The staff and residents are very kind and the atmosphere is so homely. During covid lockdown, the staff have been so supportive with phone calls and video calls with mum, and are always reachable and helpful to us all and listen to needs and requirements, implementing as much as they can.

Mum has been a resident of Magna Care Home since February 2019. We have always been pleased with the care she has received but since Covid-19 took hold in March 2020 the staff have gone above and beyond our expectations to ensure Mum is looked after both physically and mentally. As a family, it is so hard not to have been able to visit in person but the activities girl has made sure we have weekly video calls and it really puts our minds at ease to see Mum so happy and cheerful every time. Over the last 4 months, the staff have been acting as carers, relatives and friends to the residents and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

My Father-in-law became a resident at Magna Care Home in March 2020, as a family this was a very stressful time for us as it was around the time of lockdown due to Covid and we were unable to visit the home before he moved in. My Father-in-law has dementia and can not vocalise what he is feeling or any needs that he may have. I can not recommend Magna Care Home enough for the love and care that they have shown my Father-in-law and also to us, the family. We have had many questions and ring up on a daily basis to see how he is. The staff are always willing and happy to talk to us and let us know how he is doing, no matter the time that we ring or the questions that we may have. The facilities are amazing and the staff are always thinking up new ideas and ways to keep the residents happy and entertained. The events coordinator even arranged for us to have regular facetime catch-ups with my Father-in-law which are just amazing. We can not wait to visit him and the wonderful staff.

My father was a resident of Magna Care Home since February 2017. He passed away 14.4.20. I would like to place on record my sincere thanks and gratitude to the management and staff who through their professionalism and vocation, gave a great deal of care and support to Dad and really made him feel loved. Thank you all so much, particularly in such demanding circumstances.

Staff extremely friendly and attentive to service users needs. Users seem to be clean and adequately dressed - well looked after. Food adequate and plentiful with good menu. Staff work under stressful conditions due to users conditions. I attended an arranged entertainment 13/2/20 which was very well attended both by users and family/friends. Well organised by entertainment lady and seemingly enjoyed by visitors and users.

On my visit to the UK to see family and friends, I visited my auntie and was feeling very sad about her situation and the knowledge of her illness. On arrival, I was extremely surprised at how welcoming and happy most of the staff were; this has an immediate effect on the residence.

Dinner time was well thought out and planned for the ability of every resident. After lunch, activities were played and to see my auntie happy, smiling and signing was a pleasure.

Friday 13th December was the residents' Christmas party which was very well organised by the activity coordinator. The church service was good and the Christmas buffet was a lovely spread. The afternoon entertainment was really good. It was great to see so many faces on the day. The activity coordinator also decorated the home beautifully for Christmas.
