I came to visit a friend who is a resident at Magna. I was amazed at the caring staff and the smiles on the residents' faces. I would highly recommend Magna for the care and dedication that all staff give to residents.

My mother has been in the Magna Care Home for the last 2 months and I am a regular visitor. I can state very clearly that the care offered and delivered is very good indeed.
The staff at the care home are simply superb in providing the care for dementia residents.

I am very satisfied with Magna Care Home and would recommend the home readily to others.

Whenever I visited, the team clearly knew each resident, talked to them and listened to them. In the case of my Dad, everyone allowed him to be in whatever world he happened to be in and interacted with him on that basis. Allowing him to feel valued.

I witnessed not just physical and medical care, but, the mental and social elements of care too. Not just lip service to it – real proper interaction. The level of care provided to Dad was only rivalled by that given to me as relative and visitor. Knowing he was looked after and as happy as could be, was important and helped me through the night. But the actual compassion and care shown to me directly demonstrated what exemplary people are in the team. I was always made to feel welcome, time was always made if I wanted to discuss Dad or just have a chat and cup of tea. This helped make it a ‘home’ for Dad as opposed to simply a care home. Everyone’s attitude made me consider it as his home, and that lightened the load for me enormously.

We were so pleased my father-in-law got to spend his last few months in such a caring, friendly and warm environment. The management and staff are wonderful, very helpful and patient. We had no doubt whatsoever that the care he received was second to none. I would not hesitate to recommend Magna Care Home to anyone.

I attended the open day with my daughter and friend. We had a delightful day. The choir was most enjoyable. The staff/team worked very hard to ensure that the residents and visitors were looked after. The food was nice and there were some lovely raffle prizes.

The sun was shining which was an added bonus. A great idea and very much appreciated.

My sister is well cared for by patient, caring staff. They are kind and helpful even when she has a strange mood or is grumpy and I commend them for their patience under provocation. When we visit we are made welcome and that is what enables us to visit regularly. The home is always clean and tidy, my sister has been a resident for 2 years now and I cannot fault the care she receives.

My sister has been a resident of Magna Care Home since 2012 and I have been to the home hundreds of times since then. I have always felt very welcome at the home. The staff are very friendly and caring. My sister has never complained about her care and has been happy whilst living there. The home is always clean and tidy with resident's receiving excellent care. The food is appetising and varied. I do not feel you could get better care anywhere. If I should need care in the future, I would be happy to stay there.

Dad has been a resident for the last five weeks and we have been impressed by the overall standards of the home.
The staff are caring, kind and cheerful. They work as a team to provide care, meals and activities. Dad looks cared for even though I know that he can be quite challenging when washing and dressing.
The staff manage situations with a calmness and patience, yet maintain dignity and safety.
We are hoping that this home becomes a long-term solution to the care that my dad requires.

Thank you.

My mum was only here for 2 1/2 months, but her end of life care was excellent. She was treated with good care and dignity. We were always treated well on visiting. The staff are excellent and very caring. Mum was not eating while she was here but the menus looked very tasty. Would highly recommend.

Our experience of Magna Court has been wonderful. The staff are so caring and friendly. They have treated my dad with such kindness and respect. I cannot thank you all enough. Dad has been more settled and happy than he has been in years. I can put that down entirely to the care he has been shown this week

My wife was moved to Magna Care Home after she had a fall, she has advanced dementia and required nursing care.
I cannot speak too highly of the care she has received at Magna.

the staff are all extremely friendly and very competent at their jobs. The food is excellent and well presented. The general ambience is very pleasant. It is too early to assess the activities yet but a Christmas party was organised and families were invited. This was a great success and everyone enjoyed it. A full buffet was laid on for visitors. Overall we are very satisfied with the treatment of care at Magna Care Home.

Since my sister has been a resident in this care home, she has been looked after extremely well. Whenever my husband and I have visited, we have been made welcome by the friendly and efficient staff.

The home is kept clean and is a very good environment to live in. I can find nothing detrimental to say.
