The care dad has received since he arrived in May has been very good. All the staff know him by name and support him. He's starting to get involved in the activities and the staff have tailored some activities to fit his interests. Dad's getting mentally stimulated which is helping his health to improve

After having my dad at Altham Court, I would just like to say they made dad very welcome and great care to his last remaining time of his life. It was the hardest thing I had to do was put my dad in a care home, but I can honestly say the staff were fantastic, caring, patient and understanding for my dad's wishes.

I cannot thank the team enough for the love and care whilst my father was at Altham Court.
My father was in for end of life care and the staff treated him with great compassion and dignity, whilst simultaneously ensuring that we, his family, were also supported.

I highly recommend Altham Court, Lincoln. Many thanks.

My brother has been in a few homes now, and this is by far the best one yet. It's all decorated nicely, the staff are fabulous and really approachable. My brother looks more relaxed than he has for a long time.

Thank you all so much for all your time and attention.

Our brother has stayed in several care homes over the last few years.
None has met his needs as well as Altham Court. He is settled, feels safe, and the staff are caring, cheerful and friendly.

Frequent medication is given in a timely manner, and we simply couldn't wish for better for him.

My friend spent around 4 weeks on end of life care in Altham Court. She had no family, so her friends visited her regularly, including myself.

They gave her a wonderful experience, all staff were friendly and cheerful and proud of their work environment. I was given a full tour of the facilities during one visit, including where I could make a hot drink for us. The tea and coffee trolley was a highlight, with visitors being offered refreshment too. The staff were wonderful.

The staff at Altham Court are friendly and efficient, taking time to get to know their residents. In the words of my friend living in the home, 'nothing is ever too much trouble'. The rooms are comfortable, and residents are encouraged to personalise them with their own possessions, photos, ornaments, etc. The meals are varied and tasty, and residents (and their visitors) are well looked after with regular refreshments and treats. The staff at Altham Court helped make a difficult situation positive.

My Mum has been in this home since January 2025, I am pleased to say I cannot fault anything about this home the staff are so caring and compassionate, the cleanliness of the home is brilliant and the Nursing care is very good. The Staff listen to what the family have to say and encourage us to speak to them about all aspects of Mums needs including her dietary habits as they say we know her better than anyone so encourage communication.

So pleased we found this home.

My mother-in-law spent the last four weeks of her life at Altham Court Care Home. The care she received was excellent from the cleaners, carriers, kitchen staff and nurses. She was shown compassion and dignity. Also, we as a family were looked after, especially in the last week, where we spent a lot of our time at the home. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was explained. We cannot thank them enough for making a very difficult time easier to bear.

Dad was a resident from June 2022 until he passed away in May 2024 at the age of 98. He loved everyone at Altham Court and they loved him back - it was a real family atmosphere and a special place. Dad enjoyed the banter, loved the food, and felt very well cared for. The care that staff gave him during his time there, and especially during his final days, was wonderful. The family will always be grateful for this.

Our father was taken care of here for nearly five years, and the experience was overall very positive. Staff mostly attentive, and we were called if there were any problems. Good activities are arranged frequently and residents encouraged to take part. Everywhere very clean and comfortable with a lovely dining room. Food is good.

My mother has been a resident at Altham Court since the death of my father four and a half years ago. He himself was also cared for at Altham Court in the terminal stages of his illness, so I have had direct contact with the care home over a prolonged period. My mother passed away last week at the age of 97 following a deterioration in her condition, and towards the end, was cared for as a nursing patient.
At all times, the care provided has been excellent, and Mum has been treated with a great deal of empathy, from all members of staff at Altham Court. Early in her stay, she was encouraged and enabled to participate in all the activities, and towards the end, the clinical nursing care was excellent. Of note is that the nursing team are very well networked with the local GP practice, enabling seamless clinical care at a very difficult time.

In my opinion, the clinical/nurse manager at Altham Court provides excellent leadership by example, and the culture at the care home is superb.

Our sister went into Altham Court Care Home for palliative care in the last few weeks of her life. Her room was very clean and bright. All of the staff were very caring, calm and always addressed my sister by her name.
There felt such a feeling of peace in the room and this was down to the excellent staff and their caregiving.

The staff, on the night my sister passed away, were amazing to us. We can't thank them enough.

My mum was referred to Altham Court Care Home on 08/08/2023. She was given the opportunity to have a place here with her, sadly, terminal illness. I cannot thank the staff for being so caring and thoughtful for my mum. They all put 100% into caring for my mum. The staff were also so lovely to the family and caring towards us too. I would highly recommend Altham Court as a fantastic nursing home with all the care and attention given to their patients. Thank you again so much for the care and attention given to my mum. Also, the kindness they gave to the family when my mum sadly passed away on 26/08/2023.

The staff are great, and the home has a lovely, warm atmosphere. Wish Mum had stayed here longer. Thank you, everyone, for making our lovely mum's last days special.
