After a troubling time in hospital, dad's stay at Apollo was deeply healing for him. The staff were kind and attentive, his room was large and spacious (I think they're all a similar size) and there were some fun activities to be had too! The follow on care he received who facilitated his transition
home was exceptional. All courtsey of the NHS, which really came through for us. Thank you so much.

My mum lived at Apollo house since January, she sadly passed away in the beginning of June. Mum's stay at Apollo was very nice and she was comfortable and well looked after. Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. Management have been very supportive . All in all the home is very clean and
tidy. A happy place.

I applaud the dedication and care the staff showed my mother in law , she loved her time there after being transfered from hospital, can't thank them enough , the staff was patient and kind , food was amazing , she was very happy to be there and was sad to leave

My husband was transferred to Apollo House after spending a couple of months in hospital.
All the staff were very helpful, caring, professional, polite and attentive to my husband. They showed endless patience and kindness with the sometimes challenging behaviour of some of the residents. They were
always able to help with any special requests (my husband often wanted his lunch a bit later than the usual time as he wasn't hungry at the appointed time), and they very kindly served his lunch a bit later.
He improved enormously during his 6-week stay and is now back at home

I could not be happier with the care my brother-in-law received during his time at Apollo House.
The staff have always been caring and professional and the home is always well maintained and clean.
My brother-in-law has sadly now passed away but the care and kindness shown to him and the family during
his final days was very much appreciated.

My father-in-law transferred temporarily to Apollo House from Northampton General Hospital in early June 2024 following a hip operation and diagnosis of vascular dementia. Whilst the home is a little tired looking, it was always clean and functional and the staff were always welcoming, helpful, professional
and caring. My father-in-law wasn't happy being in the home and sometimes displayed verbally aggressive and other challenging behaviours. The staff however dealt with this patiently, gently and with a smile. The family knew he was safe and well looked after which was a relief.
My father-in-law moved to a permanent care home in early Oct 2024. The family would like to thank the staff at Apollo House for their care of him. They even said they would miss him as he is certainly a character!

I am writing a review on this lovely well well-maintained home and the staff are above and beyond at Apollo House, one of the best I have ever visited. Nothing is ever too much for them, they look after each patient so lovingly, I would recommend it to anyone and be happy for any of my family to be

My dad was in here for 8 weeks, I was absolutely amazed at the care he received from all the staff on floor 3. I’ve worked in many care homes and the staff that work here are the most patient, understanding and polite carers I have ever met. I have not one complaint at all. My dad was visited at least
three times a week by his family and every time the staff were amazing. You all deserve a medal.

My brother was in this care home for the last year of his life with Dementia. As soon as I walked in Apollo House I could feel the warmth and felt it was a very homely place. The facilities were good - he had a nice big room and an ensuite - all of which were meticulously clean. I was kept up to date
by phone on how he was. I visited as often as I could and was always made welcome. The staff always had a smile for us. The were considerate, compassionate and very kind to all the patients. My son who is autistic could sometimes not go into the room with me as sometimes it overwhelmed him so he would sit on the floor in the corridor outside - he was always brought a chair and we were always offered refreshments. The atmosphere was lovely and calm. In his last days he couldn't walk he could only sit in his room. The staff made sure he had the radio on to keep him company - he loved music. I owe all the staff a huge debt for looking after my brother so well. Thank you.

All staff are very professional and caring. Looked after us when my father passed away with great compassion. Nothing was too much trouble, we highly recommend Apollo House Care Home to look after your loved ones. The home is very clean and well-run.

My mother was cared for by an excellent team of carers and nursing staff who were extremely attentive to my mother’s needs at all times
Communication about my mother’s medical condition was empathic, professional and totally reliable.
Everything that could be done to support my mother was done.
It
is a pity that the review policy forbids naming anyone as the chief male nurse was outstanding in every respect.

My dad has been in Apollo House for a year and a half now and my family are very happy with the care that he receives. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for us when we come to visit and we are always made to feel welcome. I live in Italy and when I leave I just know he is in the best place.
The home is very well managed by all the staff. Thank you for everything you do for my dad and all the residents.

My husband has been a resident here for just over a year, he settled in very well, the staff here are extremely supportive and the care given is exceptional. Apollo House has soon become my father and mother-in-law's home. They always appear happy and well cared for. They are allowed to move around freely and all the staff know them well and interact with them in a personable way. Myself and my husband are always made welcome at visits and someone is always
available to answer our enquiries. My mum-in-law now genuinely smiles and laughs and has fun with her husband, this was missing at her last home.

I continue to be impressed with this well-managed and well-run nursing home. It provides an excellent level of care to my wife. It is my experience while visiting that staff are tireless in their patience, kindness and understanding. They demonstrate skill in caring for all residents many of whom have
demanding needs. Any health issues are promptly and expertly dealt with. I try to time my visits to encompass meal times and can see the food is well-balanced and very appetising. The carers make every effort to ensure all the residents are well fed.
This home is well-maintained, clean and tidy. it gives a safe secure environment.
