Our daughter was cared for with the most care and respect any one could ask for, her final months were difficult for her, us and staff but it was made so much easier to bear with the understanding of the staff, 'so nice to have a lovely wash and cream after' her words to me. We can not thank enough for her care.

My mother has now lived at Cheaney Court for 2 1/2 years. her care has always been excellent even though her needs have become more challenging. The staff are very caring and hard-working and always welcoming to myself and other family members when we visit. I am very happy that we chose Cheaney Court to look after mum.

Just wanted to say that when I visited my friend, I noticed the carers went above and beyond in the care they provided to all. On the day I visited, miniature donkeys were on display for residents, excellent visit for residents. Front of house staff amazing.

I sit with my wife every day, so I see how Cheaney Court works. This si with my wifes car and also other residents, some of whom are very difficult. All get good care, there is a very good working relationship between carers & nursing staff. All staff are so good with the residents. I feel very lucky that my wife is in Cheaney Court Care Home.

My father has been at this care home for two years. I have been impressed by several aspects -
1. Very caring staff. Welcoming to visitors and great with residents.
2. Cleanliness
3. A safe environment

4. For me, as a relative, the excellent administration from admission through recent challenges regarding my father's circumstances, the management and administration has been first rate - caring, professional and efficient.

Overall Experience

My husband moved to Cheaney Court from a care home in Wellingborough and he couldn't have gone to a better place. He calls it his home and although he tends to have a troubled mind he's very attached to 'Cheaney' and often wants to be reassured that he is in 'Cheaney'. The staff are all vigilant over the residents and are constantly watching that they are safe. They often sit next to a resident for a quick chat if they have a moment to spare and it's a delight to see an old face light up because they've been given attention. They are approachable, as is the manager and deputy manager and will always give time to listen to any queries from visitors. He is dressed in clean clothes daily. The food is nutritious and fresh and each plate is individually named to ensure each person has their own appropriate meal and plate size. I have no worries. My husband, after being in four care homes due to unfortunate circumstances, is now in the best. An excellent care home .

Everytime I visit mum at Cheaney Court I'm received with warmth and care. I know that mum's every need is met with are and compassion, which is invaluable. The August BBQ was a huge success bringing staff, residents and family together for a lovely event. Thank you. Mum is settled, safe and happy, for which I am very grateful. Thank you very much.

My dad had been at Cheaney Court since September last year. Unfortunately my dad passed away on the 15.06.25. From when my dad went into Cheaney Court until he passed away the care that was provided was outstanding, even after he had passed away he was still treated with the upmost respect. The manager is very approachable, listens to families & shows empathy. The nurses are fantastic at their jobs, they don't just care they really care! Listening to my dad's wishes as well as the family. The staff are amazing, always friendly & welcoming. It felt I wasn't just visiting my dad but going to his home & seeing friends. I know my dad felt happy & safe there, he never complained, said that staff do a fantastic job & that one staff member in particular goes above & beyond, would listen to what dad liked & wanted, organised was his words.
All the staff need recognition for what they do every day, in my eyes they are all angels!

I'm glad dad got to spend his last few months at Cheaney Court.

Dad has settled in really well, a true home from home. All the staff are wonderful, nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is great. Dad enjoys the organised activities and socialising with others, and he loves the singing afternoons. His medical needs are well managed. I am always kept informed about how Dad is doing, which gives me peace of mind. Thank you for everything!

Nursing staff were attentive to mums changing health needs. The staff were willing to discuss mums needs with me. Listened to my views and concerns.

A good range of activities for residents to join in with.

Staff and management always helpful, happy and polite. What strikes is that staff seem happy. My mother's care has been exemplay, despite lots of medical intervention and she is very happy with this herself. I would highly recommend.

Our Mother was a resident at Cheaney Court for almost three years.
In that time her care was exceptional!

The team led by a professional manager worked extremely hard to provide a safe, kind and welcoming environment for both residents and visitors alike. My family do not hesitate to thank the whole team for their care and efficiency in making our Mother's final days comfortable and safe.
