I visited Cheaney Court Care Home as my friend lives there. She invited me to the charity coffee morning. My friend has been there for four years, she is very happy and well cared for.
The staff are very approachable, especially the new manager.

Well-operated and friendly care home. Good staff to resident ratios and the staff are particularly attentive. My mother had several medical issues quickly assessed and sorted - the senior nurses are excellent. I had no concerns with the setting.

Cheaney Court Care Home offers exceptional care to all its residents. The staff are excellent, patient, efficient, caring and considerate. The home is kept to a very high standard of cleanliness and the food provided is very good.

My mum has been in Cheaney Court Care Home for fifteen months now and I'm glad she came here. I know she is being well looked after. All the staff are happy and talk to the residents like family. It's a lovely place and a lovely garden for everyone to sit in.

My wife is currently a resident in Cheaney Court Care Home for the second time this year. The management and staff have always been very friendly and cooperative and on two occasions sorted out problems with funding. My wife is very happy there and says that she always enjoys the food. I joined her
there for a Sunday lunch and can confirm this myself. There are numerous activities to keep the people involved and they are actively encouraged to join in. If my wife needs to have respite care again, I will insist that she returns to Cheaney Court.

Have absolutely no complaints with regards to Cheaney Court Care Home and the care and support they give to my dad who has been a resident since 2018. The staff are helpful and friendly to us as a family also.

My wife has been here since October 2021 and straight away settled very quickly, all the staff are so friendly and professional.
Nothing is too much trouble and they seem to go out of their way to help the residents.

Mother spent the last month of her life at Cheaney Court Care Home after leaving hospital.
The staff were very professional and kind and treated Mother with great dignity.
The standard of the food was very good and staff always willing and available to help with care.

Friendly, caring staff. We thought my father-in-law would be unhappy but he has never complained about Cheaney Court Care Home or the staff. He even says he enjoys the food, as an Indian we weren't expecting this.

This is the third care home Mum has been in, due to trying to get her closer to home, and I can honestly say as soon as we walked in Cheaney Court Care Home felt so homely. The manager, chef, carers, cleaner and caretaker welcomed us one by one, the first thing we got was a cup of tea and biscuits which
made Mum immediately feel at ease. Even the chef came to chat and find out Mum's likes and dislikes. I really cannot rave enough about all aspects of this home. Mum has struggled settling before and lost a lot of weight, in the few months she has been at Cheaney Court she’s putting on weight. She loves tidying up and straightening things, the carers let her help, giving her a purpose. Rooms are so cosy and homely, staff are excellent, regular entertainment, proper home-cooked food, lots of tea and biscuits and all carers never stop. Honestly can’t rave enough about the support and how welcoming everyone is.

I found this care home very good.
My mum was treated with care and dignity during her last months. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, always willing to help.
Our family was there during the last week, day and night, we were offered tea, coffee, sandwiches, cakes and biscuits. The family were
also looked after by the staff.

Unfortunately, not many people get the chance to compare homes for the elderly. My husband was admitted to a care home originally which was adequate, staff were hardworking, friendly and helpful.
Since being moved to a nursing home I was amazing at the difference in the care he receives from management
to staff. He has put weight on, hair cut, manicured, shaved, doctors visit regularly. I can ask for no more. I did attempt to care for my husband originally, probably another reason I appreciate the patience of these wonderful people.

My mother lived the last nine years of her life in this care home. It was just what she needed and this was because the staff 'bombed her with love'. Always hugs and kisses and laughter when needed.
The atmosphere in the home was always caring and kind. I have nothing but praise for the way the staff
coped with everything thrown at them.
