I certainly did not expect to have to need a nursing home but you have made my stay painless and comfortable. Thank you everyone, management, nurses, carers, domestics, kitchen staff and maintenance. If I've forgotten anyone apologies. Thanks again.

A huge thank you to all the staff at Cheaney Court for an excellent, well-run home. My dad was a resident here for nearly a year. The staff were wonderful and warm and caring. I used to visit regularly, the home was always clean, the staff were all familiar faces and treated the residents kindly with warmth and humour. You could regularly hear laughter in the corridors and everyone managed to stay cheerful and positive, even under trying situations. It is hard to move a parent to a home, necessary this time for health reasons, but Cheaney Court made it easy and gave regular updates. Dad sadly passed away in October, and this was treated with kindness and compassion. Thank you all again.

My father was transferred directly from the hospital to Cheaney Court, Desborough suffering from multiple debilitating ailments. Every effort was made by the staff to assist with physical recovery, providing encouragement where needed while also looking out for his mental well-being.
Staff always went the extra mile to make both Dad and visitors feel welcome and at home - a nice atmosphere makes for pleasant visits.

My thanks to the staff and management, highly recommended.

I am really pleased to see my uncle looking tidy, clean and well. His room is also very homely and I am very satisfied with the level of care.

Since my father has become a resident at Cheaney Court he has been treated with nothing but care, kindness and dignity. All the staff greet my father by his name and never pass him without a few cheery words or conversation if they have the time. While my father is reluctant to join in the many activities on offer he is still gently and kindly encouraged to participate. With regards to the cleanliness and food provided both are excellent. On behalf of my mother and myself, I wish to thank the management and staff. We are both very grateful.

My Father has been in Cheaney Court since November 2023. The care he has received has been of a high standard even when he is going through an "awkward day".
The main complaint from Dad is the food is boring, especially as he has to have mashed food due to a swallowing problem and the desserts are boring.

The staff seem kind and professional in a difficult working profession.

My Father was at Cheaney Court for several months and he was well looked after. The management and staff were all approachable and not once did I see a miserable member of staff. They always had a smile on their faces and were very welcoming. The home itself was clean and well-maintained.

This is a very friendly, caring and supportive care home. Always greeted with a smile whether it's management or care staff. We couldn't have asked for better care than what was given and shown to my dad. Whenever there was a change in my dad's health or his care needs had to be altered we were contacted straight away. He was as happy as we could have hoped for. 10/10 to CheaneyCourt Care Home.

Mum was extremely difficult to begin with and found it difficult to settle. Visiting her was a trial.
She was treated with love and respect. Hert well-being was always their major concern. The patience shown to my Dad with his constant telephone calls was also much appreciated.

They turned her around and I am sure enriched her last few years.

The comfort support, and friendlyness were very important to me when finding somewhere for my friend not only could my friend have asked for no more, but neither could I. I feel we both made lots of friends from management/admin, carer, and nurses.

I could not be happier with the overall experience at Cheaney Court. The staff are lovely and keep us up to date with my Dad on each visit. The DR. visits regularly and my Dad seems very well taken care of. I regularly have to restock my Dad's bathroom which is so nice to know he is always clean as he was in a different care home before and was never in need of new wash items as they never cared. Overall my Mother and I are very happy with everything at Cheaney Court and my Dad seems very settled.

The staff are outstanding. We visit my mother at different times and witness the staff dealing with challenging situations. Their kindness, patience and awareness of health and safety issues is extraordinary. Cheaney Court is always clean and the laundry service is excellent. The food is very good and Mum loves the puddings. Her personal care is excellent, the nurse keeps me closely informed on her welfare.

I feel relaxed and happy knowing Mum is safe, happy and cared for.

Mum moved into Cheaney Court in June 2021 and I never regretted my choice of care home. Every single person working there, whatever their role, is friendly and welcoming to both residents and their family and friends, always finding time to stop and chat. The food is varied and specific diets are well catered for. Activities are well thought out and plentiful. And when Mum sadly passed away recently, she was treated with such dignity and kindness, as were myself and my sister. Mum was always cared for with such patients and thought. Every member of staff should be proud of the contribution they make to ensure that Cheaney Court is the happy home that it is.

My mother's stay lasted for two and a half years. Throughout this time, I have nothing but praise for her care in all areas. I was also made to feel welcome, comfortable and included. It was more like a family home than a care home. In the day that my mother passed away, Cheaney Court went above and beyond in their care and support of my mother, my sister and me. We could not have wished for more.

My dad has lived at Cheaney Court for the past two years and the care and consideration shown by the staff is always outstanding. This has been especially so for the past few months, when the funding for my dad's care was reviewed. The reassurances and kindness of the management was truly appreciated, at a time when things felt very uncertain and fragile. Dad is now a permanent resident at Cheaney Court and I am so relieved that he will be cared for by dedicated and thoughtful people who always go the extra mile. As a family, we are agreed that we have been very lucky to find such a special place for Dad and that we can always be secure in the knowledge that he is being cared for excellently. Thank you!

I have visited residents in Cheaney Court for over fifteen years. These have been long-term residents or just those who have needed respire care. The home is always clean, rarely a smell detectable (except home cooked food). Staff welcoming and cheerful. Residents are clean - clothes well laundered. It's noisy in the day rooms - but that's usually the nature of the residents. Some friends have died there and their needs - personal, clinical and pastoral - have been met by the vigilant and ever-caring staff.

Due to my own health problems, I have only been able to visit my mother-in-law several times recently. However, I find the staff eager to greet and help. I would have been happy for my late mother to have ended her years at Cheaney Court.
