My mum now needs signicant interactions to ensure her comfort and every staff member I met and observed was lovely with her. I cannot thank Darren and the team at Symphony enough. Dad had a short stay here for palliative, end of life care. The compassion and care that dad received has been above and beyond. The home has a real family vibe and being smaller than most nursing homes, you get to know the team and vice versa. The manager Darren is very experienced and his guidance and advice were extremely well received. I always received an update when I walked in every day as to how dad had been overnight. A real personal touch makes Symphony stand miles ahead of the bigger corporations. Forever grateful. Thank you.

The staff were warm, attentive and professional. There was always a positive atmosphere and a natural feel. The fact that you could visit at any time unannounced created a really down to earth, family vibe. My Dad actually thoroughly enjoyed the food, constantly saying that the chef was splendid! Lots of effort was put into activities, particularly around times like Christmas, but also the VE events. Above all, it felt that every resident was known by the management, where a number of staff have worked for a long time. Darren, the manager, was noticeably visible and hands-on. This is a simple, but caring environment, which I would recommend.

When my husband was transferred from hospital to Symphony the discharge nurse said "it's not Buckingham Palace but he will get wonderful care". How right she was. The staff treated him with great respect and understanding of his individual likes and dislikes. To them it was not just a job, they put their heart and soul into it. Their warm and welcoming attitude was commented on by all his visitors. The lead comes from the top, Darren, the Manager, is exemplary. Really hands on, not just behind the desk. It was so helpful to be able to discuss any concerns with him. He and the team do their utmost to make it a home for everyone. They put a great deal into events to vary the days often involving much decoration. In the summer it was a delight to sit in the courtyard shaded by colourful hanging baskets and trellises, on one occasion Sofia serenaded my husband there by singing "I've only got eyes for you" . That brought tears to our eyes. Thank you to you all.

Cannot complain at all staff are so friendly and welcoming, very homely place with a beautiful garden. I'm very grateful to everyone caring for my grandfather nothing is too much and the way they care for family members too- thank you so much! Definitely recommend sometimes it can be hard knowing if you did the right thing but we dont regret it.

They are an amazing team and they all manage to make it feel like a proper home from home. Well done to you all.

My beloved sister spent 16 months with Symphony and I cannot speak too highly of the care, compassion and medical treatment she received: she died last month. Suffered from a rare neurological disease called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy which robbed her of everything. Prior to Symphony my sister was looked after at home with carers but the disease progressed quickly and 24 hour care was required. I compliment and thank both management and staff for their professionalism and care

Our family has found the home to be extremely caring and very attentive to our mums needs and wants. Mum could be challenging and fiesty with her words and actions with the staff. They always treated her with dignity and respect. They spent time building a theraputic relationship and supporting her with the choices she made. We would not hesitate recommending Symphony House. They go out of their way to help and nurture their residents. 10 out of 10.

Symphony House Care Home is a family for the elderly. Serving with love and compassion. Fostering a communal and loving environment bringing healing to the mind and body. The manager could be classed as a modern-day saint. He cares and loves all those in his care, goes above and beyond the call of duty. The care home staff too care for their older family members. Highly recommended for those wanting quality, and loving care for their older family members.

I honestly can’t speak more highly of the manager, nurses, care assistants, kitchen staff, cleaners and the caretaker; they are all wonderful.

It was our mum's wish, and that of our family, that she would see her days out in her own home, but Symphony House has provide to be an excellent alternative.

My father has been staying at Symphony House for just over a year now, and over the course of the year, he has received outstanding care and medical attention. He has a good relationship with the staff, as do we, and nothing is too much trouble; they are always willing to help. We have every confidence in Symphony House and its management and staff.

Symphony House has provided excellent care to my mother since she moved in, in 2020. She was admitted with pressure ulcers and the debilitating effects of Covid acquired in the acute hospital. Symphony House has healed her pressure ulcers, reduced her pain and prevented further occurrences of skin breakdown. In addition to the physical care, she is treated like "one of the family.

The manager and his team have and are superb in what has been a very difficult time. A big thank you for all their care and attention to my brother.
