Review from Adam K (Grandson of Resident) published on 2 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My grandmother avoided being helped at home at all costs and would support herself for as long as possible. Despite that, when she came under the care of the lovely staff at Willow Brooks, she looked revived and had re-gained some of her life energy. The staff here is very caring and are like a family. I am very grateful for everything they have done for her. I wish them all the best.

My mothers been here for about a month. The care and attentiveness of the staff has been just first class.
Everyone is very welcoming and friendly to residents and visitors.
I'm confident my mother is in the best possible place after numerous falls at home.
She is happy and says 'it's lovely' I can tell she is relieved and is doing well because of the first class care she's getting.
The food is really well provided for all needs, again first class
There are lots of activities arranged and a pleasant garden.

There seems to be very good communication between the staff on each patients needs and there is a feeling of community. Can't ask for more, thanks to all the staff and helpers

My godmother has been here for around a month now and seems really settled and happy. There is always something going on to stimulate her, certainly a big difference from being on her own just watching TV. The staff are all very friendly. My aunt says she feels well and happy.

The care my sister is receiving at Willow Brook is all we wished for her. Staff are kind, considerate and friendly. They show valuable information to help us, as relatives, to support our loved ones as residents. All staff from the varying departments within the setting go the 'extra mile', activities planned and entertainment provided are wonderful. A massive thank you.

Overall Experience

Willowbrook is a welcoming and friendly care home, which has excellent entertainment/ events put on throughout the year, and compared to some care homes in Nottinghamshire, is good value price wise. It isn't at the luxury end of the market, the rooms being pretty basic and on the smaller side, but the staff are very friendly, helpful and make the effort to get to know their residents and communicate well with relatives with regards to any issues. The food is good and it is generally kept clean, just need to keep on top of maintenance in rooms.

I can't thank Willowbrook enough for the incredible care they provide to my grandmother. From day one, they've been nothing short of amazing. The staff are genuinely kind, compassionate, and always go above and beyond. They regularly keep us updated with calls, which gives us real peace of mind and shows how much they truly care. The nurses are wonderful-so attentive, patient, and professional in everything they do. The activities are also fantastic and really make a difference, keeping residents engaged, happy, and stimulated. It's clear a lot of thought and effort goes into making every day enjoyable. A special thank you to Anita, who is truly exceptional. She is so caring, understanding, and always takes the time to make sure both residents and families feel supported. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Willowbrook. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a warm, caring, and well-run home.

I have nothing but praise for the staff and the care given at Willow Brook. The residents are treated with respect and dignity at all times. The meals are excellent and there is a choice, with access to drinks and snacks during the day. A variety of entertainment is ongoing for those residents who wish to participate. There is a lovely garden for when the weather gets warmer. All things considered, I would highly recommend Willow Brook.
