I came here to be near my daughter. I need nursing care and have found what I need here. The staff in all departments are really pleasant and always willing. I have settled in, and I expect to stay hear. I am looking forward to joining in activities and getting out when the weather is better.

Mum went to live at St Catherine's in May 2020. We have all been very happy with the care. The care assistants are friendly and very caring. The nurses are very approachable and helpful. They are also quick to identify any problems and let me know immediately. I have experienced some bad care in the past, but have had no issues or concerns as staff, even admin, are always available to advise or support. I feel I can relax knowing Mum is being cared for by the best.

The staff are very encouraging and attentive. The activity programme is amazing. Residents are encouraged to participate and are valued. Mum's clothes are kept clean and changed regularly. Trips are arranged to local cafes and garden centres. The resident's crafts are made into displays. Meals are well supported by staff, and the food is good. The nurses work hard and keep us updated if issues. The home is bright, clean and feels welcoming. The photobook in the reception shows the daily activities for relatives. The management always has time for me with any queries.

The improvement in my dad since he came to St Catherine's is fantastic. It was also great to see him on the Facebook page taking part in the baking activities. He seems to have settled in well, and the staff are great with him. It's lovely to see him smile again. Thank you.

My husband was admitted to St Catherine's dementia unit on 28th March 2022. At first, he was very unsettled and disruptive, but the carers, nurses and management were patient, caring and efficient, and he is more settled now. I feel he is in a safe and happy environment. All the staff are caring and efficient, even at their busiest times. They keep me informed of any incidents concerning my husband, ie, infections or other medical issues. Thank you, St Catherine's.

We are very fortunate that during Covid 2020, a place was available as Mum was discharged from the hospital. The care and activities Mum receives are priceless. We are kept informed, staff are very caring and work hard to meet Mum's needs as she deteriorates. The activities are just so well thought up and give us, as a family, great pleasure seeing Mum smiling on the various posts. I don't have a bad word or any criticism of this home. Amazing, and thank you.

Care and thoughtfulness shown by the staff are great. Always bright and cheerful no matter how busy.
The level of care is good, and appropriate action is taken when challenges arise with behaviours/social interactions with maintaining a happy and safe environment for their residents.

Similarly, any health issues are quickly assessed by a medical professional and managed to deliver appropriate treatment.

I have always found them extremely professional and attentive to patient care. Very informative if they need to contact if they have been seen at the GP or taken into hospital. A good patient care, meals and snacks provided are good. Feel safe knowing my mother-in-law is safe and very well take care of. All staff polite - relaxing atmosphere.

Staff are very friendly and caring. I think they are kept very busy with all the demands on them, but when I talk about my grandma, they always seem to know who she is and what the last situation is with her care. Having a relative in a nursing home, in the condition my grandma is in, is sad, but I never feel she is just an anonymous patient to the staff in the home.

Very caring and attentive staff and always aware of the needs of the individual residents. Covid restrictions are strictly adhered to, and I have always been able to book window/room appointment as per Government guidelines. My mother is always relaxed and content when I visit, despite the fact that she has been in lockdown for most of 2020. She is always smart and well dressed when I visit, and her room is always clean and tidy.
