Barton Brook Care Home

My mum came to Monton House in March 2019 and has been so well cared for with patience, support and dignity. Mum often comments how well looked after she is and enjoys chats and laughs with the staff, who are friendly, polite and professional. Staff communication with us, especially through lockdown has been brilliant. We have been put at ease with their advice and friendliness and nothing is too much trouble, for which we are extremely grateful. We believe mum is in the best place she could possibly be.

Barton Brook (Monton House) is alwasy clean and well presented, but the main attraction for us as a family id the staff of "Monton House" they really care for my mum and on her good days she's always pleased to tell her family how good the staff are.

mt mother has been a resident for four months. During this time I have never been inside the home due to COVID-19. It is therefore difficult for me to comment upon certain aspects of Barton Brook. I have seen my mother a few times in the garden and she is always clean and appears to be happy with everything about the home. The staff I have met during these brief visits are always friendly, caring and knowledgeable about my mum. We phone every day to ask about mother's well-being and are always reassured by kind words of the carers.

Staff are amazing and go the extra mile for you in everything. My mum seems so happy there, and that is a massive part of why she's there. Peace of mind for us as a family to know she's happy. Nothing seems to be a problem, very helpful, easy to talk too. Very happy.

I felt the care my father received was excellent. The staff were caring, attentive and tried everything possible to make my father comfortable and looked after. Although my father sadly passed away, I don't think he could have had better care anywhere else and I am very grateful to all the staff involved.

My cousin went into Barton Brook Care Home two or three years ago. The care she received from day one was brilliant. I can't thank the staff enough for the care and attention they gave my cousin - brilliant.

My mum has been a permanent resident for two years, and during this time, I have been more than happy regarding the care and interaction that Mum has received, from the nurses, care staff and housekeepers. I am aware of how demanding the role is for all the staff.

All the staff are so polite, caring and professional. They take time to ensure the care of all the patients is at the top of their priorities throughout the day. The ward is a fun place to be with lots of activities. The standards of care are exceptional.

Since my mother came to Moss House back in July 2019 she has experienced professional care/love and support from all the members of staff. The unit is one big family who make you and your family feel so welcome. We love coming to any social events and getting involved with the staff. They are all so approachable and likeable. My Mother has been in Moss House for 2 1/2 years. During this time she has been well looked after and is much happier than she was when she arrived. Staff are kind and considerate and treat residents with respect. We are happy with the care received.

Resident seems to be settled in and looked after. Meals are good.

The standard of hygiene second to none. I cannot put into words how I feel about the care. Attention and friendliness given to me and every single person in Barton Brook - amazing. I would not hesitate to stay here again if need be. Even the garden is pretty to sit in with seats and benches. I can not thank all the staff and HC-One enough. Very grateful.

My husband was well cared for. Staff were always accommodating and friendly and we could discuss his care with ease. The treatment given to him was the best. They gave the best care and advice. It took all the worries away from us regarding his welfare. Thank you for everything.

During the time I have been here in Barton Brook Care Home I have received care, understanding and friendship from all the staff. I was poorly when I arrived but upon leaving I am now ready to go home and cope with help at home. I have kept my dignity and it has been a pleasure to have been a patient at Barton Brook and also given me my confidence back.

Our worries were taken away and mum is settled and happy. Cannot fault the care she receives.

My mother-in-law has been in Moss House, Barton Brook now for 12 months. She is very happy and enjoys the company of others. Staff are very caring and helpful and she enjoys the food she is given. Her room is always tidy and she always looks clean and well presented.

My mother has Alzheimers and vascular dementia. I find staff in Moss House, in Barton Brook, acknowledge this and look after mum with her everyday needs.

Moss House at Barton Brook Care Home has been an excellent place for my mother-in-law. The staff are extremely attentive to the patients, which is very persons wish for their family. It is very clean, most of the staff go above and beyond to help in any way possible. My family would definitely recommend it.

I would recommend this care home, the staff are excellent and very friendly, my father is on Moss House and he is very looked after and happy.
