It's difficult to put into words the love and care you all show mum. While taking care of all the other residents, you always take time to make mum feel special and lovingly cared for.

Would highly recommend this place, please don't change anything you're doing!

Very happy overall with the care my mum receives at Appleton Manor, all staff are exceptionally friendly / kind / helpful and supportive to all the residents needs. They always make time if , as a family we have any concerns or issues or queries with regards to our mums care or needs . There are regular outings and entertainment for all to enjoy. There is also a wonderful doctor that visits regularly and the care and compassion he shows is admirable . Appleton Manor has dedicated and compassionate staff who treat mum like a friend . Never an easy decision to use a care home for a loved one, however I feel that mums needs are very well looked after.

Appleton Manor has 'care' as an important way to deliver a professional service. I have been to see my father during the day and at night where the care is always amazing. The residents have a clean room with an ensuite. They have special events with music/entertainment for the residents. The staff will also interact and play games to keep it a fun and caring environment.

I am unable to go on a regular basis to the care home, but on the visits that I have made, I have always found the staff to be friendly, caring, kind, affectionate and respectful to the residents in their care. Occasionally, I have seen activities in progress such as quizzes and sing-alongs, and the majority of the residents in the communal lounge seem to enjoy their events and interactions with fellow residents, staff and visitors in general. Everyone is encouraged to join in, and I'm also aware that my mother-in-law has been taken out on occasional group trips since moving in last December, which she really enjoyed. Overall, myself and my husband are very satisfied with the general ethos in which the home is run.

My mum was in Appleton Manor until she passed away. The care she received was outstanding. The support we were given was exceptional. I can't thank the team enough for all their support during a difficult time.

Mum moved to Appleton Manor last February due to being admitted to hospital after falling, due to dementia . She is so well looked after by the staff and management. She has her own room which we have made very comfy with her own things. When we were looking for a care home the first thing we asked was how long the staff have worked there. All the staff have worked there for a long time which told me the staff are very happy there. Mum is well fed with plenty of brews and cake.
She has her hair done and has a podiatrist visit every 6 weeks.

There is also plenty of lounges to relax in and watch tv.

On a beautiful day we were able to sit in the well maintained garden and enjoy a quiz. Everyone joined in it was stimulating and great fun, lots of laughter and memories shared. All members of staff are very resident focused and there is a very real family atmosphere. Residents friends and family are always treated very well. It is a massive decision to choose to have a family member move to a care home but this has been a really great choice.

In the last 12 months I have never walked into or out of Appleton Manor with anything other than polite smiling faces to greet you. The staff here are wonderful and they work so hard. Anything you may request is seen to without delay. One is informed of any ailemnts or problems that may occur with one's relative swiftly and my mother loves the food. I truly believe that the person at the helm is the key to this being the nicest place for my mother to be cared for by the lovely hardworking personnel of Appleton Manor. Many thanks to one and all.

As our Mum's dementia had got to the stage of searching for her forever home, I looked at a few care homes in and around the Stockport area, and after visiting Appleton Manor, my Sister and I both agreed that Appleton Manor was the care home she would be looked after. After over 12 months I am so pleased we chose Appleton Manor, the care team, the staff and management have been amazing, all are very approachable and have a professional, friendly manner. They have been always available to answer any questions I may have had in the last year or so. I really cannot think of any problems in mums year here. Thank you Appleton Manor.

Staff can't do enough. They are always pleasant and helpful. The rooms clean and warm. Food is lovely and plenty full. When weather permits the residents are either in the garden to things or being take out. (Knitting club, shopping, bingo). They even have entertainment for the resident to get involved with eg sing along, excise club even a local farm bring in the animals to the residents to meet and a local school children read to the residents.

My Father-in-Law moved to Appleton Manor late 2024, it became quickly apparent that this is an outstanding care home, all of the staff seem to have worked there for many years, they are passionate about providing the best level of care for the residents.
The residents are treated with patience and understanding allowing them to retain their dignity.
The administration and management of the home is outstanding.
There is entertainment provided to keep the residents alert and engaged, again the team is fantastic.
There is a games room, common areas for residents, there is also a "quiet room" where residents who want to relax can go.
The garden is a great space where residents can get some fresh air on a nice day with plenty of activities to keep them engaged.
The whole place is like a community where residents and their love ones can feel comfortable and looked after.

I cannot speak highly enough about Appleton Manor and the care that is provided.

My grand father moved here very recently due to on going health conditions in hospital. I was very worried to find the right home for him. Every one I spoke to recommended to try and get him in this home. I managed to with the help of the kind and caring management from this home. Everybody is so caring and polite the home is very warming and do everything to include residents in daily task/activities. Nothing is too much for the staff they go above and beyond its like 1 big family. In such a very short space of time we feel our grandad has settled very well and feels part of the family there already. This was the best decision we made and I wouldn't look anywhere else. it feels like home from home which is what it should feel like.
