The family were really happy with the staff and facilities at Richmond during my mother's stay. 99% of the staff that we came in contact with were always smiling, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The home itself was always clean and accessible when we visited. Given the choice, we would have had no hesitation in placing mum in Richmond as she has not been allowed back home. When we left mum whatever the time of day we always felt she was safe and in the best hands. May not sound much but those two things are worth their weight in gold.
My recent stay was very good. The carers were very considerate and understanding. The food and facilities were good, and general cleanliness was good too. Overall, a good place to stay whilst recovering. Please thank all the staff for their help; much appreciated.
I stayed there to recover. The staff could not do enough for you, they go out of their way to help you. The management does everything they can to make you feel welcome and look after you. I would recommend this care home because I was treated like a queen.
My mum was sent to Richmond House for rehabilitation following a hip operation. She was treated with care and dignity throughout her stay. The staff were very caring and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The level of care was excellent.
All of the staff are very caring, giving lots of support to my mother, as a new resident, and to our family. My mother is well looked after, clean and tidy. She is happy and interacts well with the staff, they are skilled in communicating with a stroke survivor. They are sensitive to my mother's needs and treat her with dignity and respect. All of the staff are very friendly and are only too happy to help.
My grandad is really happy. All of the carers seem really nice and look like they enjoy their jobs - thank you, everyone.
After weeks in the hospital, it was a pleasure to come here and see my partner looking so clean and well dressed. The staff are very friendly, but professional and nothing is too much trouble.
Thanks again to all the wonderful caring staff
Nothing is too much trouble, in the night as well.
The staff throughout my stay have been very polite and on hand, if I needed anything. Always happy to make you a brew if and when needed. I have had a very comfortable stay here.
The staff and their team are a real credit to the home, from the carers to the cleaners, the chef to the physio team. Good information about the resources available after discharge. What a good team.
A huge thank you to all the amazing staff for caring for my mum after a hip operation. Her care was A-star. Everyone was so kind and considerate of her needs. She loved the lovely meals, and the staff were always happy to help; they were all considerate and made her feel comfortable and at ease! You all work so hard and deserve credit for all you do! Staff were always willing to listen to her needs, have a little chat when she needed company and make her laugh at times ! Richmond House, you all do a wonderful job! A big thank you from the family; Mum was in good hands.
I was a resident for just over two weeks. I found all members of staff to be exceptionally caring, helpful and very supportive in my recovery of a fracture to my arm. I can honestly say I would recommend Richmond House 100%. All members of staff, from housekeepers, chefs, nurses, caring support staff, tea ladies, physios to maintenance staff are a credit to you - (unsung heroes).
The attention I got was good. Food Good. Staff friendly and obliging. I am well looked after by all the staff. Physio treatment was good.
The only complaint was that the staff didn't know that I was a type 2 diabetic until my daughter in law visited fourteen days later and informed the staff. This may have been because the community assessment unit (RAEI) didn't inform staff.
Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. We really appreciate your positive comments about your experience at Richmond House. We are pleased you found the staff to be supportive and obliging. We are very fortunate to have a great team...
I would recommend Richmond House to anyone as I received excellent care and services during my stay. My key carer and the male nurse were very kind to me and made sure I always felt comfortable. Thank you to all the staff for helping me on my road to recovery.
The room is very nice, the bed is comfy, the food is very good and the staff bend over backwards to help. They worked very hard and made my stay pleasant, wish I could stay longer.
Every day is a good day.
Everyone was helpful and I received excellent care.
I came here on April 30th and was treated extremely good. As each day passed the hospitality and staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. I thought I was in a 5-star hotel, the room was excellent and the facilities were excellent. If I come again I would chose here. Thank you.
During my stay at Richmond House, I was well looked after, the food was excellent and a good variety. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
The majority of staff were caring and attentive, however, I do feel that there wasn't enough communication with trained staff which was sometimes necessary. In general, my stay was pleasant.
Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. Thank you also for your positive comments about the caring and attentive support you received from our staff team during your stay at Richmond House. Colleagues at the home strive to provide...
