During my stay at Richmond House, I was well looked after, the food was excellent and a good variety. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
The majority of staff were caring and attentive, however, I do feel that there wasn't enough communication with trained staff which was sometimes necessary. In general, my stay was pleasant.
Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. Thank you also for your positive comments about the caring and attentive support you received from our staff team during your stay at Richmond House. Colleagues at the home strive to provide...
I was only at Richmond House for 17 days following an accident from which I broke my femur. Everyone cared and looked after me very well. No complaints. Taught me to get up and down the stairs so I was able to go home and cope on my own. The carers came for two weeks when I went home. They were very good and kind.
My dad was a resident at Richmond House from May 2019 to March 2020 firstly in intermediate care then a permanent resident. He was treated at all times with dignity, respect and more importantly love! All the staff were amazing, they supported both dad and myself. When we knew dad was on his final journey, we were both treated with the most loving care and compassion and the end of life care was just amazing. I can honestly say the care, food and cleanliness of dad's room were always good and Richmond House and its team are angels on earth!
Lovely staff, food amazing, can't fault. Mum looks so much healthier and gained weight. Only negative is not reg staff, don't know my mums needs eg doesn't know to sort batteries out of hearing aid or switch the TV on to DVD etc, also physio needs.

As an organisation, HC-One strives to deliver care with kindness at all times and the experience of our residents is very important to us. Thank you for your kind comments, the team at Richmond...
As a family, we feel confident that Mum is safe and well looked after, as does she. The nursing care she receives in respect of her nephroscopy tube is excellent. The staff and quality of care are very good indeed. However, the rooms are fairly basic and the food is quite often not to her liking.

I could not have asked to be sent to a better place than Richmond House. The care they took in looking after me was second to none. Great treatment and great staff. Thank you very much.
Went for rehab from Wigan Infirmary when I fell and broke my hip. For just over two weeks I received the best of care while I was there. Couldn't fault the place.
Can't recommend highly enough. Staff and care given is second to none. Staff are very caring and couldn't do enough.
My time here has been very acceptable. The staff have been very kind and helpful. The food has been very plentiful and nice.
All the staff are very very good. Well looked after by all, it is teamwork by all and I thank you all for looking after me.
The manager, nurses and all the staff, every one of them, has been good to me, and all the patients. They really do go above the call of duty. Everyone has cared for me since I have been here, even the night staff. I have been here for 2-week. I will tell everybody how good Richmond House is to me; they are the best.
I would like to say a very big thank you to all the staff at Richmond House for their care and encouragement when I was feeling down. The physiotherapy there has helped me walk again. The kitchen staff set all the lovely food. The nurses and the night staff thank you for getting me through this and now I am well enough to go home.
Never felt so well looked after. Staff are always so happy and pleasant. Never felt I was being a burden to any of them. They were al so willing, caring, thoughtful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent.
Due to Covid-19 no one could visit but I telephoned my auntie. The physio staff kept me informed of my auntie's progress and ensure everything was in place for her return home from her rehab stay.
The nursing team is first-class, a team of efficient and knowledgeable ladies. My husband has Parkinson's, a most complex illness, and his care has been faultless.
It is an extremely well-run establishment, everyone is helpful and approachable, be it management, admin, nursing or the wonderful ladies and gents of the caring team.
Mum was comfortable and as happy as possible in their care. Besides this, we always felt comfortable in these difficult times (Covid-19) and up to date, fully briefed.
Having been in Richmond House these past two weeks I would like to thank all the nursing staff, physio, carers and cleaners for their kind dedication to my care. Everyone was friendly and made me feel at ease and comfortable, so once again thank you.
I felt the room a little cold, maybe my state of health could be a reason.
Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay. We have given your feedback to the hotel services team for their consideration so that any necessary action can be taken.
My mum's experience in Richmond House from 10th - 25th February 2020 was a positive one. All the staff were polite and helpful and informative during her stay. They assisted her with all her needs. The food was good, hot and well presented. Drinks were brought round regularly. Mum was in Richmond House in an intermediate care bed allocated by the NHS.
